Mornin y'all!  I been up since before light.  All that I predicted has come to pass.  The pups had a ball tearing around the pasture this a.m.  My plans for sloth and dissipation have already been thwarted by the memsahib.  Mom hasn't called yet but she knows it's my day off and she has probably got a thing or two she needs me to do. 

I got a sack and my pipe and a BB gun stashed in the shed though and if I can make it to the treeline without her spotting me I'm golden!

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday, it’s Hump-Day already!!! Up at 0430, I’m heading out to my 0600 Wednesday morning meeting. I have an energy management control panel to replace today. I’ll have to yank out my temporary thermostats and reconnect all the wiring. Should be a good day.

Typical "wife is working" workday - up at 4:30, start at 8:30, work until 5.  The time before my job starts I usually putter around or tinker with stuff.  Today was cleaning up accidents our oldest dog left.  I've been taking an online course and watched another hour or so of video, tried to take the quiz and missed the first question, so I'll be re-watching the video later.

I'll load up one of the trucks with some trash later, plus I need to do some laundry.  I keep planning on doing some shooting but we've been running out of time each day.

Never really got to wiring the new outlets in the Red Shed yesterday so that's what I'm working on this morning. I know Betty Lou mentioned something about making a store run today so there is that. And Casting Corner is heating up to pouring temp.

Mornin y'all!  Reveille was at 0 dark thirty this morning.  I was awakened by a large puppy using my nose for a chew toy.  My nose is prominent and rather bulbous making it irresistible to teething puppies.  Outside at first light and Flash spots a squirrel.  The whole pack was off like the wild hunt with 15 year old Flytrap leading.  I sat down in the garden with my tea and let the dogs tear around the place treeing squirrels.  I let them run for about twenty minutes and then went back inside to wake up the memsahib.

We canned 6 quarts of dill pickles last night and the plan for today is for six more quarts of sweet bread and butter pickles and four quarts of sweet relish.  The cucumbers are almost finished but we'll be starting on canning the tomatoes next.  Since we have about forty tomato plants, all about six feet high and loaded, we are going to be making a lot of marinara!

 I was up until 2:30 AM and then was in bed until 8:28 AM I got 2 hrs. 35 min. of light sleep and 3 hrs. 23 min. total restful sleep according to my smart watch.

 I am having my coffee and will have to leave soon to run around and get a few things we need. I will drop the wife off to grocery shop while I go pick up some other things, since we have not bought her a car yet.

I gotta put away the stuff that I wasn't able to sell at the gun show.    Have a pistol match at 1500.   And then it's date night with my beautiful wonder wife.   I've haven't been able to shoot much in the last week, just too busy.   I gotta bet back into the daily practice groove or my skills will deteriorate even more (if that's even possible).

Got the 5 new outlets installed and wired in the Red Shed. Just need to make the connections in 2 overhead junction boxes. I made 3 of the outlets switched for lighting. Betty Lou interrupted me to take her to the store. But it's all good, I got nothing but time. Gonna have some lunch then get back to it.

It should also apply those who stayed home and sacrificed while their loved ones served. Many lost Mothers, Fathers, Sons, Daughters and siblings.

And pets that never got to see their loved one return home, plus all the vets that lost their K9s in war too and vice versa. Those animals sure feel a lot of sadness like the dog that stayed at it's master's grave day and night for years after he died.

Rambo was up and whining to eat at 4:30 this morning. I was ok with it because he hasn't been feeling to good and has eaten very little for the past few days. He ate the whole bowl and then wanted out this morning so I guess he's back to normal.
I have one more junction box to hang and wire that will connect the last 2 outlets in the Red Shed. These 2 outlets will not be switched. The will supply power in a new location for the airgun compressors to move them off the workbench and into a cleaner working area.
I did some more modifying to the mold heating oven. I added a bottom to it. Now I put the mold in the opening and set the whole thing on the hot plate. It's much more stable than the hood balancing on the edge of the hot plate. It maintains a temp of 300f. It also makes it possible for the mold handles to stick out the front more and not get so hot while it's heating up.

Good morning GTA, Happy Thursday! I got up just before 0500. I’m getting ready to head out to work. A cooler with an evaporator so froze up the fans are trapped in ice. I sure hope they emptied it so I can thaw it out & work on it. If not, oh well… I’ll be on the clock.

I'll be meeting a guy who's interested in buying one of my 1911s.   Then the exciting part of the day begins, previewing at an auction.  There are several AGs that I might bid on depending on how the inspection goes.  I don't need any more AGs at all but you guys know how it is.

Mornin y'all.  I'm on the late shift today so I don't go in until noon.  Up at first light with the pups.  Walked the pasture til they got bored.  The yellow flies are worse today than I've seen them yet this spring.  Still, it's not a bad year for them.  I'll have to drive at least two boat tours today, monitor the beach and public areas, and clean-up and close up tonight.  It's usually not a bad shift.

My wife took our 15 1/2 year old toy aussie to the vet; he's still not really eating though the bloody diarrhea has dissipated.  At this time last year we had 5 dogs.  We have 3 now including Ruger.  It's been tough dealing with the continual losses of furry friends. 

Our plans for later included mowing our backyard and doing some yardwork over at a HUD-owned home that was starting to look like it was abandoned.  Sonja spent some time on the phone with the HUD people and it fell through the cracks.  The house next to it was for sale yet the goofball realtor was clearly too f'ing stupid to realize an overgrown and unattended property next door prevents selling for the max dollar.

Caught my wife's cold or what ever she had. Took some cauph medicine that knocks you out and went to bed. Still woke up a couple of times last night to drain the bladder. Woke up this morning at 7am drenched in sweat. I haven't gotten sick in years even when everybody is sick like dog. We'll see how long it lasts. Took some C, D3, and zinc this morning so will see if that helps.
