Back when We were kids? Best We had was TV and mostly black and white in a HUGE box!
Limited choices in channels so you only got what was broad casted.
And no interaction.
Now even the back water areas can get all the garbage the inter webs has to offer!

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! I slept in until 0530 and I just realized I missed my 0600 Wednesday morning meeting. With everything going on, my morning routine has been way off for awhile. I do have work for today, and that’s all I was focused on, I guess. I’m going to finish my coffee, pour my travel cup and get going.

I know very well what you meant, Bill, about being careful what I wish for. It’s always been this way, either crazy busy or silly slow. For years it was busy summers and slow winters. I thought this past year it was going to even out, my winter was fairly steady. I guess the bottom fell out this spring. This company has grown ridiculously huge the past 3 years. It’s gotten hard to track from an individual perspective how it’s going to be.

For the last 10 years before I retired getting blindsided at work became the norm. Trying to control inventory from around the world for the 'just in time' production in the auto manufacturing industry was never dull and uneventful.

I use to hate it at Boeing. They always want to have a single source for their composite materials and when the supplier went down we were left with not being able to build what ever composites parts that were needed.

Donated blood this morning, picked up the mail, grocery shopping for the 2 months of hibernation, and picked up zoo food at TSC. Home now to unload this mess, I will wait for it to cool down some before I unload the major, for now just unload perishable stuff.

Pops is at the house taking on a couple projects for me.  I hope that he enjoys it and doesn't get frustrated.  He's been out of the loop a while.  Finally seeing the sun.  It's seems to have been a cooler, wetter spring that normal.  It actually felt sprin/summerish yesterday.  The highs show an increase the next few days with rain holding off until next week sometime.  I hope to get more house projects done.... 

Not sure what I'll do tonight.  Maybe I'll just goof off.

Made it to the courthouse today and got the tags renewed. I don't know how but they still had my old address and wouldn't let me do it online so I had that fixed.
Betty Lou had a couple things on a list for the grocery store so we stooped there while we were out.
She wasn't feeling well so she has been laying down and I have been slipping in and out of the Red Shed and just kinda messin' around.
She's not sick, she says she just feels a bit run down.

Thanks, first 1,010 miles were all good. The Avalon is great on the road, I am going to miss this car. The granddaughter is so excited to get it though.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up and made coffee at 0430. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe. I have parts to repair a couple cooler doors. I have an hour and a half ride and it’s raining. Probably going to rain most of the day. I’m glad I have these parts for inside work. I need the work, but I don’t like working in the rain.

Current plans are to finish browsing the forum, and requisite cup of coffee; then it's off to transplant some more honeysuckle bushes; and water the rest we already moved...
Perhaps some organizing and cleaning up various areas if I have time left, before going to work...

Mornin Y'all!  I came back from vacation on Monday.  Worked three days and now I'm off for three days!  Nothing big planned but when I finally rolled out of bed this a.m. I discovered that the airgun fairy had already come to my house today!  There was a long box waiting by the door!
The Crosman 362 I bought from Spacebus had arrived!  Thanks DJ!  I'll be setting up the chrono and running some numbers today.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! I got up at 0500 and made coffee. After my second cup, I’ll get ready to get going. I’ll visit my chiropractor on the way to work. There shouldn’t be any rain today, so I have a PM for 3 split-system air conditioners. Change air filters and wash condenser coils, then start them up and see how they run. If I get home at a decent time, I’ll prep the mower for mowing tomorrow, I’ll put on sharp blades.

Not really sleeping so I guess it's my morning .  Howdy Y'all!  Had a good soaking rain last night and the garden looks so much better for it.  The memsahib wants to replace a bad wheel bearing on our ancient Snapper UTV so I will be assisting with the heavy lifting and toting.  She's the mechanic.  I'm just the helper.  I got a bucket of red wrigglers and a pint of chicken livers so I will be going fishing at some point.  Gonna run some trot lines for catfish tonight.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I got up at 0515, started the coffee and went back to sleep for another hour and a half. I didn’t think I’d sleep that long, guess I needed it. I’m just now having my coffee, but it’s a little bit wet outside from the rain last night. The only thing on the agenda is to get the mowing done and watch the Xfinity race later. Fortunately, the grass isn’t too tall, but it will be if I don’t mow today. I’ll wait a couple hours, finish my coffee and get to mowing. I might even get to shoot something today.

Gotta go and pick up my wife at the train station in Homewood ,Illinois today at about noon, She's been gone for 5 days visiting her sister in southern, Illinois. I'll be glad to have her back!
