Up and out early.. worked out the issues with the basket case Sentry 705 Deluxe HC.
Fixin to fire up the pot and make little round lead things.
Maybe I can lure Betty Lou to the Red Shed with some apple pie flavored 'creek water'. If not, her loss.

I was just informed that Betty Lou has 5 qts of above mentioned 'creek water' on the lower shelf of the fridge... in her kitchen.
So much for best laid plans...

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I got up at 0530. Read my Bible with my first coffee, reading GTA with my second cup. I’m on call, so no real plans for today. I got my mowing done on Wednesday, so I’m thinking I should get outside and get the line trimming done. Whatever else I might do, I need to be able to drop if I get called out.

Good morning and welcome to Saturday... not that the day of the week matters much to me anymore. 
Just gonna hang in the Red Shed today. Forecast calls for 84* so I'll keep the doors closed as long as possibl. The rock floor keeps it pretty cool in here.
Got the pot fired up and gonna make some little round lead things.

I took the lawn tractor out of winter storage yesterday.
I am going to change the oil and all the filters on the lawn tractor today.
I changed the oil on my two snow blowers and have them put away for summer storage. (I sure hope I did not do that too early)
We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow, 2-4 inches.
I plan on clearing that with a battery powered electric shovel.
I we actually more snow than forecasted, I'll have to go out and get one of the bigger snowblowers but I would sure hate to have to do that now that I have them all set up for summer storage.

Mornin Ya’ll.  Took the pups to TS to get the rest of their shots.  Back home I’m prepping my trot lines to do some cat fishing tonight and maybe I’ll work in the garden some more today.  As always one of the 1400’s will be handy for plinking or garden pests.

I got up went and had my coffee, went to town and bought a blade for the 21" push mower, came home and installed the blade and mowed my yard. It was 66°F 58% humidity when I finished mowing but I was real sweaty. That mower is a Ryobi with a Honda gas motor, it use to be self propelled but that part broke and I just took the gear off to make it free wheel. The Lawn tractors are all down for the time being while I wait for parts, and the front yard really needed mowing. The Ryobi/Honda is a bit heavier than if it started out as a free wheel push mower, so it is a bit of  a workout for me, good exercise.
 The Ryobi/Honda mower was given to me about 5 years ago and I use it very little and have never looked at the blade until this morning since I used it primarily for cutting weeds in a few areas the Lawn Tractor doesn't fit.  It runs great and the new blade really helped. The old blade I took off was down it 17 1/2"  and ragged  .

 I installed a fuel shutoff valve when I first got it and I always run the carburetor dry before putting it up so it stays nice and clean and doesn't gum up.

second time up for me. Woke up at midnight and watched the final stage of the Xfinity race that I had turned off earlier. Went back to bed and woke up at 4. Made coffee, took care of the dogs and stayed up.  Motorcross from ATL Motor Speedway on now. 800 truckloads of red dirt in the grass on the front stretch makes thee track.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I got the line trimming done yesterday, and a few other things, but wound up going to work yesterday afternoon. It was a good day. I slept in until 0530. This morning is Sunday school at 0900 ad Ch**ch at 1000 hrs. We have the races recorded that I didn’t get to watch and we have small group this afternoon. Probably not going to get to watch the races until the weekday evenings. And of course, I may get called out to work today, too.

Running any engine out of gas can cause scoring of the cylinders and hot spots.  Just shut it off and learn how to drain a float bowl(one bolt).


Day three of fixing up my Canada Portage boat.  Took all hardware and accessories off of a fully rigged 14 Aluma-craft.  Filling holes with Rivets past two days.  Today is a new TRANSOM!  Going to use 2 part epoxy on the wood so it last forever like this 1955 boat.

Got one English Sparrow yesterday, he was trying to build in the house all day.  Had to pull a screen to pop him

2 strokes yes but not 4 strokes. 2 strokes get their lubricant mixed with the gas 4 strokes have a crankcase full of oil. Now diesels I definitely wouldn't want to run out of fuel.
