OK. I did do something today. Moved the SCUBA and AV compressor out side and started filling the SCUBA.

I worked a full day last Friday, so today is a Holiday  Will make a trip to a buddies place to see about getting my Magna Trac dozer out of the swamp I had to leave it in over the winter.
 Then change oil in the GMC and back to my regularly scheduled airgunning

Nice Brett! How much do those run? I got rid of patio tarps years ago as I kept having to replace them annually or sooner at high cost.

Morning....
I started rolling around at 3:00 this morning. I was able to go back to sleep until 3:30 then the call of nature just got too loud to ignore.
I got up and put on coffee. At around 4:00 Rambo decided it was time to eat and wouldn't take no for an answer. He managed to get Boss up and riled and was headed back to wake Betty Lou as well. I knew that wouldn't go well so I gave in and fed them both. Then all 3 of us went out  and I sat on the front deck sipping on coffee they did their things. Off in the distance I heard Nick's dogs barking... Boss heard them to and that started their long distance back and forth conversations. Soon Boss, Rambo and Nick's 2 dogs were fully involved and it went on for a good 15  minutes.
I put on some recorded MX racing and gonna kick back in the recliner and see if I can doze a bit before going out and getting the Red Shed fired up for a day of casting.
I'll keep an eye out for signs of the yard drying out enough to mow.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I survived my first day back at work. So, I got up at 0445 and I’m going back again. I have a 3 1/2 hour ride to repair a couple freezer doors that I quoted. Should be a good day. Just one more cup o’Joe and I’m going to get moving.

Good morning, wet and drizzly here. I'll get some things moved around under the porch to work on some of the lawn toys as the grass does not wait for weather around here. Bill, I will have to bale mine this week for sure if it ever dries out enough to mow it. Tree and invasive brush removal is on standby until the ground dries up a little. It doesn't take long to turn the ground into mush around here.

Mornin Y'all.  Day two of the big vacation!  Gonna lay around the shanty and get a good buzz on!  The Iron Maiden is spending a few days with us so I'm getting an early start.  Our daughter is so critical of her mother and I that its like having another mother in law.  The memsahib and I are so laid back that she had to become an uber conservative in order to rebel against us.

Gotta work on the taxes at some point.  When you are as poor as I am you never have to pay taxes but you still have to get the dang thing done on time!
Might piddle around in the garden some and I'm still planning a fishing trip so the day could get interesting.

I was actually able to mow all but about 1/4 acre. That area down by the muscadine grape vines is way too wet. The ditch along thee driveway and the area around Betty Lou's hot house.. also too wet.
I'll just let those areas go until all needs mowed again.

Ate oatmeal, gonna have coffee while I surf.  Need to work on the gazebo roof and get that up/on.  It was constant drizzle yesterday and night.  Looks the same today but slightly cooler out with a slight breeze.  I'm not looking forward to it...😬

Another day, another couple dollars.
 
I got situated in my employer's Udemy enrollment and started an online course (MS cert for Azure), got a few items knocked off my work checklist, and pondered where my work life will take me over the next 6 years.  That's my desired countdown to retire.

I spent lunchtime grabbing a quick bite, then pressure washed the Husqvarna mower and got it all back together.  The mower runs quite good right now, and the new blades sh9ould be showing up today- they're going into storage for the moment.

I'll be fabricating a shroud and rigging some fans as time permits for the Troybilt Pony rider (Sonja bought it in 2015 and her ex all but destroyed it)- it needs some serious work.  The B&S engine ate the plastic cooling fan and shroud when she tried mowing yesterday.  She's very careful with equipment and was distraught over what happened, but I assured her it wasn't anything she did (old beat up plastic just oxidizes and gets brittle).  The plastic parts I need are NLA despite the young age.  The deck got new spindles last season, but the spindle covers had to be cut off since her ex WELDED them on.  I'm honestly impressed with this mower's ability to function despite all the various mistreatment it received before I came into the picture.  After I pulled all the metled plastic out from the cylinder casting's fins, she was able to finish mowing.  Ir works, but that shroud directed high airflow over the cylinders to prevent hot-spots, so fabricating a shroud and wiring some fans is a priority.

I spent a couple minutes attempting to get the Echo line trimmer working, and much to my chagrin, it ran fine.  No idea why it refused to run over the weekend, so chances are there's something going on with fuel- maybe some crud, a clogged jet is now unclogged- who knows, but it is working fine now.  It's a commercial trimmer, solid shaft and really loves running at WOT, so I may also need to clean carbon off the exhaust screen.

I'm looking forward to retirement.

Funny when the hood dogs do that here too, especially with coyotes. It's as if they're all debating a doctoral dissertation despite saying the same exact words back n forth incessantly.

When they bark at me being in my own yard though I don't like that. Had a raging pit bull try that with me once last year raging at me. After I pulled leather and a few shots were fired near it he decided not to ever do that again running home with ringing ears. Lucky I didn't shoot to kill but if he would've attacked I would have tagged his @-- full of more holes than Swiss cheese as I was strapped with 16rds for just such an occasion.
