Going to clean out the cab of my 07 ranger. Looks like the rain is over so won't be getting everything muddy/filthy. 1 bonus of all the rain is my catchment tank is full to the brim and I hooked up the pressure washer up to it yesterday and cleaned all the dried on mud off my truck. I probably saved a good 50 gallons of the hauled water. It takes between 3-4 hours for each 1000 gallon load I bring up to the storage tanks. Takes 45min to an hour just to go the 5.5 miles of unmaintained dirt road.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I woke about 0430 and decided to catch a few more Zzz’s and slept in til 06-something. I’ve had one cup o’Joe, I’ll have one more and get my day started. I don’t have any hard plans for today, except the Barn Meeting tonight. I think I’m going to use some of the time to see what’s in the attic and what’s in the garage that could go back up there. I should probably get some mower blades sharpened while I’m in the garage, but I don’t plan on mowing today. I do intend to shoot something at some point.

We're going to Michigan City today (Dang, I think that's probably about half way to Hoosier Daddy's house) for a birthday party. Bad thing is that I'll be taking a courtesy vehicle from the dealer ship since they have my van in for repairs. It needs a whole new transmission.

Good morning, waiting on the weather to make up its mind. Had some drizzle here already. I don't mind that much as being soaked to the bone before I get in the house. This kind of cloudy weather makes it easier transplant plants without to much stress on the plant and it's cooler as well. Found the pto cable for the string mower that will get done today. It's badly needed right now, I have a lot of places that the rider can't get and it's to much for a weed eater. Just take the day as it comes

Well this last week saw some excitement in town and NOT in a good way.😭 First 1 of the kids in town OD on fentanyl and then to close out the week there was a murder Suicide. A lady that worked at the family dollar was divorcing her husband and her husband came into town to the store and killed her. He then killed himself. Ash Fork is just a very small town and this stuff just doesn't happen around here.

Well this last week saw some excitement in town and NOT in a good way.😭 First 1 of the kids in town OD on fentanyl and then to close out the week there was a murder Suicide. A lady that worked at the family dollar was divorcing her husband and her husband came into town to the store and killed her. He then killed himself. Ash Fork is just a very small town and this stuff just doesn't happen around here.

What is up with all the murders at dollar stores? My wife had to witness one at the Dollar Tree in Upper Sandusky, Ohio January 1st!

Well, good morning, GTA! Happy Easter, He’s Risen!!! We had a good Barn Meeting last night. 
I slept in a bit, but got up at 0645 and I’m having my coffee. We’ll get ready for Ch**ch and go to Sunday school at 0900 and Ch**ch at 1000 hrs. After we get home, lunch and a nap, I think. Ayrabella is 10, so she’s on the precipice of putting little kid things away… but, she wants to hunt for Easter Eggs, here at home, just her and us. She’s an adventurous soul, like her dad… she’s been known to hunt for eggs in May or July, etc.
Fried chicken is the plan for dinner and we’ll watch the Trucks and NASCAR in the dirt recorded from last night.
Tomorrow it’s back to the grind for me. And I’ll be on call all next week.

Mornin Y'all.  Well the Worm Gruntin festival is over.

It was a success but now I'm feeling the letdown when a big event is finished.  I'm the late ranger at work today.  It promises to be a real bear.  Easter Sunday at the park is always a giant Romeo Foxtrot.  Easter may seem like fun to y'all civilians but for us rangers it can be one of the roughest days of the year.  Almost as bad as Mother's Day or Fourth of July.  I've got Kit, the boy wonder, for back up.  The guy is awesome.  He's our youngest ranger and he's darned good but he looks like a recruiting poster for the boy scouts.

Anyhoo. . . . .  Once more into the breach dear friends. . . . .

Up and abouts Easter bunny dropped baskets off for the kids. Next I'll be clarifieing butter for my pork loin roast to be made into pulled pork. Boil about 2 dozen eggs for coloring and assembling eggs for hunting...

Another bad thing about the murder was the 16 year old boy that's done yard work for us seen the whole thing and is blaming himself for not stopping it.

Up at 0530 with a sick kid (headache and dizzy).  Mrs. P stayed out with him and I made it back to the bed.  Out of bed at 0700.  Just heated up some coffee from yesterday and now I'm surfing.  Easter breakfast and church service this AM.  Parents and MIL coming over this afternoon for a meal.  I'm pretty much in recovery mode from working the marathon shift at work.

Nothing crazy going on today.  Late brunch with the in-laws and some extended family. 

After we make the long and arduous 2 minute drive back (we're bringing a lot of food!), I'll likely pressure-wash the Husq riding mower, then start working on it.  It needs blade sharpening, a tune-up, an oil-change, and maybe more.  I still haven't pulled the Cuib Cadet 2-blade walk-behind tranny, so that might also happen.  I'm feeling sorta lazy, so we may just fling arrow and some pellets instead!

Good morning, Happy Easter. The rain yesterday delayed the lawn toy repair plan, so that will be the main objective for the day. To windy to cast ammo for the air guns and do any shooting. Did get some things done in between the rain outside, some pruning, spreading fertilizer and ash, liberating 25gal nursery pots from the clutches of chinese privet roots(nasty invasive), pulling chinese tallow seedlings(another nasty invasive), finish burning up a tree I pushed down last week.

 I was awake at 3:28 AM but went back to sleep and woke up at 3:58 AM two minutes before my set alarm. Cool, it did not go off so the wife was not disturbed. I had coffee and spent some more time preparing for Ch**ch, which was at 10:00 AM today.

 I am going to take it easy the rest of the day.

Just found out that within just a half hour of the murder that someone killed themselves in the little park we have. So 1 woman not a kid ODed on Ash Wednesday and 3 people on good Friday.🤔🫤😞
Oh, and the 16 year old was looking right at the guy when he killed himself.🤬🤬🤬🤬
