I just put in for and got approved for a 5 day weekend starting April 5th. 

Congrats what are you going to do with yourself besides recouping by the pool drinking beers?

Nope, no beer for me, I had enough for 3 or 4 lifetimes until I turned 33. Gave ‘em up. And the pool’s not up yet… we’re wanting to get a bigger one. And that means I’ll have to level more ground. I’m fine with the pool from last year, but it is pretty small. So, I’ll be getting some more dirt and doing the work. As for the 5 day Easter weekend, I have no plans yet.

Planting and fencing in the garden.  Might run to town later when I get a shopping list together.  Might run a trot line for catfish later this evening.

When I'm working in the garden the 2100 or one of the 1400's is always handy.

So is taking beano before the wife's beans aka toot fruit to avoid the farty party, but then what fun would life be while bending over planting the garden.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! I got up a few minutes before 0500. Walked Chillie and I’m finishing my second cup o’Joe. I have that filter change that I was supposed to do yesterday. I’ll visit my chiropractor on the way. I’m on call this weekend. So, if the preventative maintenance (PM) job is all I have today, I’m fine with that.

 4" of snow and it is going to snow until noon, plan to get a head start on blowing out the driveway, then may make the trip to work in the afternoon to clear the drives and parking areas there, unless someone else volunteers to do so.  There is possible blowing and drifting the remaining part of the day 

 Maybe I will just shoot BB guns

Been up a couple hours and did the normal morning routine.
Headed for the shower then out to the Red Shed to see what I can get into today.

Got up late- both Sonja and I were covered in cats.  Sorta like a cat trapped in sunlight.

She fixed breakfast while I made her coffee, then off to work- my office is 7 steps from our kitchen.  She's already staged our big shopvac and a couple angle grinders with wire wheels/cupbrushes for stripping paint off the brick on our fireplace.

No rain yet, but it is on the forecast, so maybe this evening I'll teach her how to fletch some arrows; we got her new bow and a dozen xx75 Gamegetter shafts.  I can't find the Bitzenburger but I have a Bohning fletching tool in my big rollaway toolbox, so Bohning it is.

Otherwise, I'm doing yet another test migration to proof our documentation.  The joy of being "the new guy" in the process but it gets my feet wet (and adds dollar signs to my value for the company- never a bad thing).

It snowed again yesterday and last night.
I'll be going out, later on, to clear the snow from the driveway.
After that gets done then it is off to church.

SS and church then come home and cook.  Probably some pool with my peeps and maybe I'll continue on my shop cabinet project since the pool table has been completed.  I also bought some LED galley/string lights, the kind you see hanging over patios and porches so, I may get motivated and hang those up in the shop to set a mood when we are in there playing vs. working.  I will wire the outlet with a switch for convenience

I got plenty of snow on the ground myself. 

I just checked the forecast for this week.  It is looking like freezing rain Wednesday night and Thursday then more snow Friday and Friday night.

Drug out the pressure washer and am going to clean up the wife's FJ cruiser and my 07 Ford ranger. Probably try and put a coat of wax on the ranger so it will clean up easier as it seems to be the one that gets drove to town when the roads are a mucky mess.

Drove in with the tundra with the water trailer and got 1000 gallons of potable water as we were down to 1400 gallons. Going to go in and get another 1000 gallons tomorrow morning. Should be completely full after that.

I had extra coffee yesterday which turned out to be a bad idea, LOL. I was up until 12:30 AM (pre time change) and my alarm was set to go off 2 1/2 hours later, I reset it for 5:00 AM but when it went off I gave myself another 30 minutes. So I had 4 hours of interrupted sleep time total. I had 5 cups of coffee and then a bagel for breakfast Surprisingly I have not been too tired today though. I did take a 30 minute nap which I woke from without an alarm.
  Other than that it was Sunday School, Ch**ch, a great avocado burger on a Jalapeño roll for lunch, nap, Ch**ch, and monthly business meeting following the regular service.

  Now I need to eat again and pancakes or waffles sound good.

Well folks I bit the bullet last week and asked the doctor for help sleeping.  The memsahib had threatened to injure me because of my insomnia.  He prescribed an anti-anxiety med. ( ?)  Hey.  Whatever works.

Well this stuff works.  I had the first "normal" night's sleep I've had in years last night.  The memsahib is happy so all is good in my world.

Tomorrow I'm driving boats all day.  The water will probably be pretty dark after all the rain we are getting tonight but there should be sufficient wildlife out to satisfy the tourist.  "There is nothing half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."

I used to sleep like a baby every night.   Then in my old age I started to have some trouble sleeping.   My doc prescribed some sleeping pills.   They must have been pretty strong cuz the first time I took one, I slept so deeply that I peed the bed, which I have never done in my non-infant life.  Never took another one.  Hope your pills continue to work for you without the side affect.
