The winds have finally laid down, now to clean up what got blown down. Get the chipper/shredder out and running. Fix the tire on the tiller and get that running again. Fix the tires on the lawn mower and mow the grass. Lots of outdoor stuff to do today.

Just came in from shoveling another 3inches of very wet heavy snow.   Could only do half the driveway and had to quit.  Gettin old.  Still gonna try and not use the snowblower.

Hey Kris, I heard there's a big Bloom of red tide on the west coast of Florida? Supposedly suppose to cause some nasty things to humans like ALS and such.

I remember Red tide is nothing to dismiss... It literally burns your lungs with every breath when it is bad enough... Cough and then inhale again. OUCH

Last 24 hours here have been nasty.
Freezing rain turned to heavy snow about 10:00am yesterday.
I had to cook at the Lodge and at 17:00 the roads were bad.
When I was dismissed at 20:00 the drive home was like a snow globe and could hardly the road.
Got home to no power!!!
Hoosier Momma stayed in town at daughter #4 house.
I fired up the kerosene heater and the lantern and me and the Dawg "camped" in the family room. Warmed up some leftovers on the heater.
Power came back on about 02:00 today.
H.M. came home at 08:00.
NOW... I am cooking chili for Dead-eye Lous

Red tide is a nasty occurrence, if you have any respiratory issues it is a miserable experience. Between hurricane Ian "flushing the toilet" and the warmer than usual weather in that area, it has gotten an early start. You don't eat the fish or shelfish, swim in it, or even walk on the beach, you are going to get sick real quick. It rarely occurs here in the panhandle but I do have the option of freshwater fishing as well, so when the red tide occurs, I head for the river or dead lakes.

Just got back from going to the transfer station aka dump. Road is a mess for the first 3.5 miles. Couldn't believe it, when coming back through the really bad part of the road I made it in 2 wheel drive. The stock pond was empty last May or June and now it's probably 20 feet deep.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! Allergies are really kicking my butt this year, everything’s in full bloom here. I slept in until 0700. Sunday school, Ch**ch, small group and we’ll watch the Nascar race later on. It’s supposed to be really nice out though… 71* and sun.

Pretty much the same here, 'cept for the alergy thing, which surprises me because I'm normally eat up with them. And the Church thing... (I express my gratefulness on a more personal level) 
Weather was absolutely perfect yesterday and more of the same is expected for today.

 Plan to light a fire under my butt and get back to working on my .177 QB78 slug gun project, IIR just have to drill the barrel port,, debur and polish the barrel and put it together and see what it does, then plan B C and all the above D, may be applied.

Good morning GTA! Yep another Sunday! And John my allergies are kicking my butt again too, and everything’s in full bloom here as well. I slept in until 0500 and it felt good.

Two of our grandchildren, both teenagers, are staying the weekend. Both conveniently forgot to bring clothes for Ch**ch. Ha! So we'll be streaming Ch**ch today.

Same here for days and still not done. Going to wait to mow because I like all the spring flowers that have bloomed with the trees but I need to get started on all the ants before they get out of control. A lot of weed spraying to do also. Killed numerous wasps already. As warm as it's been overall this winter here the summer is going to be especially hot and the skeeters are already trying to bite. The bugs are hitting me in the face again and I haven't missed them at all.

Up at my normal Sunday time of 4:00 AM.

Had Sunday school and Ch**ch, had lunch, went and help move/herd a wild donkey into its new area since the owner John postponed it from yesterday. The donkey is the guard for his sheep. John's sheep just came home today after being evacuated for the Fairview Fire. The owner lost all of his outbuildings to the fire and is finally ready to have sheep back home. A retired local AG teacher cared for them in the mean time.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 05-something… walked Chillie and had my coffee. I need to get my oil changed on the way out to work. I have a control board to replace in a rooftop heat/ac unit.

Nothing crazy going on here.  Our company VPN is down so I'm.... doing nothing.  It also means nobody else is doing anything.  Hopefully it will be back on-line soon.

I have a small axe in need of a handle - just need to break out the drawknives.  I may run out to TSC in a bit to get an anti-rattle hitch plate.  The one I bought for the Tahoe is a godsend with an unloaded trailer, so I'll pick one up for the Ram. 

I need to price some tires for the CR-V, and I think it may have a leaking power steering pump (or a leaking fitting)- the joys of having some older cars and trucks!

Good morning in the land of pollen blizzards, pine is in full swing and everything is yellow. Go pay property taxes, zoo food time again, pick up the gun case and mold at the post office. Come home and fire up the melter and cast some ammo for the Herc, set up the shooting range and compressor, and have at it. Just enjoy a windless day for a change.

MY wife is not far off, but I got ~ 6 more years.  I'm looking forward to wondering how to waste spend my day.
