Mornin..
Got up at 5 and jumped in the shower while the coffee was brewing.
Time I got out the dogs were ready for feeding and going out.
Then I went to Betty Lou's She Shed and finished setting up Big Red.
Betty Lou got up, showered and wanted to go to the store for milk, soda and beer.
Now I'm just planning my next move.

Yeah, but it don't happen more than a few days a year. Flagstaff east of us got 2 feet overnight but that's normal for them. This has been a very wet past 9 months.

Bladder alarm clock went off at 0630 and there ain't no snooze button for that. Got up and let the 2 youngest dogs out and started our shepherd's breakfast. She's a EPI dog so has a very expensive special diet. The company that makes the enzyme we have to mix with her food went out of business about a year ago so we bought about $1000 of it. We just opened the last container. Not sure what we'll do after it's gone.

The winds here are too high for fishing or hunting.  I would be afraid to be under the trees for fear of a limb or whole tree falling on my scrawny a**.
I did get some gasoline for the portable generator in case the power goes off here.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!- I wish I didn’t have to live for the weekends, but I do… I got up at 0500 to pouring rain. Dog pee’d in the house, I made coffee, dog poop’d in the house… and I had coffee, oh well. I made it to my chiropractor. Now, I’m at work, need to replace a compressor in a cooler and it’d be nice to go home after this.

Mornin Y'all..
It began as a rinse and repeat kinda morning. Once that routine was over I headed to the Red Shed.
I swapped locations with the Vevor and the Yong Heng. The Vevor was getting the bulk of the action just filling guns. I used up 2 of the 3 year warranty on the YH filling tanks.. probably 20 top offs or more on the  30 and 60 minute scba tanks.
I changed oil and tampon filters on the YH and it's ready for gun filling duty.
Big Red sit's in Betty Lou's She Shed for tank filling duty.
I think I'm going to move the Vevor out to the bar/mancave where it can serve the shooting deck we built down there a year or so ago. Since I cleaned out and opened the Red Shed and put a 35yd shooting range in, the shooting deck see less action.. matter of fact, it's become more of an outdoor bbq/cooking/eating/relaxing spot.

This afternoon will begin our typical NASCAR viewing weekend.
Since cutting the cord and subscribing to FUBO we have access to all types of motor sports.
Plus we get many other free streaming services and have instant access to any interests we may have.
I watch a ton of outdoor stuff including airgun adventures on Carbon.
We now have 2 55" flat screens in the bar/mancave and we can run sound through the 500 watt surround system. Viewers can now watch from virtually any location in the bar. The sofa, theater seating, table w/benches and from both sides of the bar.
On the downside... might need to crank the A/C up..   
On the upside... the beer, creek water and 'happy pie' are ice cold..

Waiting to see what the weather will bring. Tackled the yard some, added another coat of finish to the wedding gift, probably do laundry, and whatever I will eventually figure out something to do.

Sounds like you are ready to open a pub with AGs instead of darts.   I think I read somewhere that AG shooting in pubs was common pre WW2.   All you need now is a chef.  Might be able to find one nearby.

I love waking up to fresh snow- always seem to sleep better   I'm a little envious.  And Bill- while I may not watch any TV, your set-up sounds perfect.  Tunes, viewing stuff, airguns, libations, snax.... sounds ideal

We slept in- didn't stir until 7!

Shop called, I gotta drop some coin for the heatercore/dash etc on the new-to-me Ram.  I'm still pretty stoked my wife would rather me have a little less pocket change and more free time    I utterly HATE doing heater cores on newer vehicles!

Sonja is off today, buried under a pile of dogs and cats on the couch- reading and listening to some tunes.


I'm in the midst of a migration of a customer (practice run to test out some documentation), sitting in a meeting while listening to people debate some stuff that should have been figured out eons ago.  Utterly baffling people don't THINK ahead about things like server space, memory allocation, and priorities/urgency until shizzle starts falling apart.  But.... Crisis Management seems to be modus operandi for the business world.

Later today I have to run some trash to the dump, maybe run to TSC for some stuff, and think about plans for this weekend.  Life ain't bad!

Believe me, changing out a heater core isn't much easier on the old vehicles.

I briefly owned a mid-90s Passat.  Nothing is that bad.  OTOH, my 86 F-150 was pretty easy once I mangled my arm into the A-pillar's subframe and destroyed broke freed-up the hardware.  My 94 F-150 was... pretty darn easy, actually.  My 2000 F-150 was a pain but mostly straightforward... just a lot of interference removal.  If I ever happen to meet the bozo who designed the dash for a mid-90s Passat, I will probably end up on death row just for what I think of him.  Some of the Bangel BMWs are nearly as bad as the VWs.

Disclaimer: I spent many an hour in junkyards pulling heater cores for making money on the side.  VWs water-pumpers are typically the worst- I'll never do another VW heater core, I promise that.

Anyhooooo, got the truck back, vacuumed and put the new Husky floormats in.  Amazon dropped off the Curt hitch and TSC supplied the 4 wire to 7+4 adapter, so I know what I'll probably be doing tomorrow. 
Second disclaimer:  I also admit to using heater cores for cooling over-clocked computers; the Dodge D-50 was far and away the best I ever tried.  All-brass, swivel fittings, and a fairly easy removal.  They work superb with a mag-drive impeller pump for an aquarium, something in the 80-120 GPH range.

I just came back inside after shoveling the first 3 inches of snow.   What could be better than shoveling heavy wet snow at 3AM?   So quiet and peaceful, absolutely lovely.   Went out in my PJs and flip flops and sweatshirt.   Should have left the sweatshirt off as I worked up a pretty good sweat.   I should sleep well tonight.    We are supposed to get 6-9 inches more.   I might have to fire up the snowblower tomorrow.   It would be the first time I've used the blower this snow season.   I might just shovel because I would like to go the whole snow season without using the blower.   Old guys like me need exercise.
