I am totally electric with no gas service. We live with a well... no electricity, no well pump, no water to flush.
We have bottled drinking water but that won't make coffee without electrons flowing.
 I have an old camping perk-o-lator I could put on the fire if things got really bad.

So no electricity you live on a unwell 🤣🤣 Yeah, we had the same problem when we lived in Lucerne valley and had a well. We were fortunate that we had a 5500 gallon storage tank we could switch to so we could at least flush the toilet.
We also had propane stove so we could heat the house a little.

Yep, all electric here as well, coleman propane stove, generator, 5 gal bucket for dipping out of the pond, 5 gal water jugs for drinking water. Canned and dry goods for food. A few hours of no electricity not so bad, 4 weeks without electricity that is a whole different story.

I should have known because I spent several years of my youth on well water and knew we had an electric pump.

Totally off grid now so don't have to worry. 3100 gallons of potable water storage and 3200 gallons of rain water catchment.
Forgot to say, no we'll. I would have to drill down around 2000' and maybe hit water.

I had an eye doctor appointment at 0730 so I actually had to get up early (for me) to clear the driveway.   Only had 3-4 inches of snow but then freezing rain on top of it compacted the mess down.   I shoveled the driveway, I'm determined to not use the snowblower at all this winter.   Since I had a doctor appointment I wore shoes, no flip flops clearing snow today.  It was sweaty work, beach attire would have been a better choice.

  It snowed at my place before dawn but the rain melted it by dawn. The snow line in the surrounding hills is less than 1.5 miles from us. Looking at the future "Wondermap" on the weather site it appears that snow line will remain much the same all day as we continue to get more rain.

  There will likely be short times of snow mixed in but no measurable snow sticking.

54 and sunny with a strong wind now... No ice to be seen. 
Drove to town and there are sawed up downed trees the entire way.
Glad I don't work for the electric company.. them boys had a long night!

We're on county water for the house but we also have a well for the garden.  Gas for hot water and cooking.  Multifuel generator for back up.

And this is what I looked like 20 minutes ago when I got done blowing out the driveway. Them cheese hats are warm

James, I started clearing snow eat my place at 12:30 pm and Finnishes at 3:30pm.
I went over to my daughter's place at 4:00pm and finished up at her place at 6:pm.
I did not have a Cheese Hat but I looked about the same in my stocking hat. 
I got 15 inches of snow last night and a lot of wind.
All totaled it was around 24 inches of snow since last Tuesday.

We got candles..   

After living through too many Hurricanes we got serious.  Longest we were without power was two weeks.  We did okay with only a suitcase generator for the fridge and solar hot water but it were not fun!  Now we are independent of all utilities for up to two months if we run off the 250 gallon propane tank.
Oh yeah, we got flashlights by every door, Coleman lanterns, oil lanterns (!), tiki torches, and candles in the emergency supplies.

Well the snow storm is over with.
Now we have two days of cold temps then a gradual warm up.
It is supposed to reach 35F by Monday.
Right now it is a bit nippy outside.
