It's 70 on my back deck right now, that is the humidity is 70%, the temp on the other hand is 39°F now.

  Now it seems that the predicted snow levels are 2,000'.

I think I know what you are saying but I'm not sure I fully understand it. Dose it mean that above 2000' above sea level will see snow? Also how is that relevant and impact you and your area? The only time I had experienced snow in mountainis areas was in Afghanistan and well I didn't have a weather app to tell me what was going on. I had to look outside or if it was severe the chain put out specific info.

I got up a 345 then went to the can and laid back down till 415. Left for work at 430. Got all the way to the south end of Cbus into the pot and all and had to turn around. Went back to the mag field that piece of freightliner I was driving and then had to bulk my truck. Now I'm at the VFW waiting on the lunch special. All said and done before 11.

Also I'm moist because of rain.

It means any place 2000' ASL and above have the potential to receive snow. There's approximately a 3 degree drop in Temp for every 1000' altitude above sea level.

Where snow in the mountains is concerned, they usually predict it 'down to' terms.

I am planning to buy the Toyota Avalon that was my dad's car from my grandson today. He bought it from my sister that had inherited. He recently got married and his wife would rather keep her car so he decided to sell it and keep his Sequoia. I plan on passing it on to a grand daughter that wants it in a few months, I am just the middle man here since she lives in another state, she is saving up for it already and I will deliver it.

Yes the snow levels are predicted to an elevation and nearby valleys and hills may or may not get some depending on air currents. We rarely get snow AT my place and it is more rare that it sticks beyond an hour. There are mountains 2 miles away where snow sticks every year though.

I do seem to be the CA vehicle delivery service LOL, If I get the chance to get it ready maybe I will drive the '71 Impala and have the wife drive the Avalon in one trip. I have a target date for the Avalon and doubt the Impala will be ready to go by then, since I have not even started it yet.

Bill, it's 85 here, I had to come and cool off. I am in the process recovering my shop so it don't leak all over everything inside. It's an all metal shed I bought in Ocala, FL in 1989 and had it moved up here when I promoted with state. The leaking is from the screws rusting out and corroding the aluminum, the vinyl sign I had on it finally fell apart. I have plenty of those for major roof damage after storms, so I dragged one out and cut it to length and drag it on to the shed. They last a good while, it beats getting on the roof replacing and sealing the screws.

Hard at it since sun up.  Picked up three more yards of composted manure for the garden and topped off the 100lb propane tank.  This afternoon I have to move the farm wagon from its shed to under our RV shelter.  I've got to treat the wood with a pesticidal oil and the metal parts with phosphoric acid.  I promised to fry momma and Butch mess of crappie and bream for their dinner and I promised the memsahib that I would help her make eggrolls for our dinner.  Shrimp eggrolls and potstickers, heck yeah!

I got up at 5:00 and broke out a sweat too....shoveling wind drifted snow.

With the strong wind it felt like -70 but it was only -3.

The as sweat began to freeze and I had to break off the ice droplets from my face and clothes.

Yeah Tom, as much as I complain about the heat and humidity down here.. I sure don't miss those day. It was great when we were kids but not so much when we got older and had to deal with other folks. I think many of them suffered brain freeze.

Middle of an ice storm here... it was freezing rain at 05:15 and it has been continuing all day. Temps hanging ~ freezing and still raining. It's supposed to continue until lake evening.
 Trees are ice covered and sagging as well as the power lines.
Thank God I still have dry firewood in the garage for the fireplace and kerosene / propane for the heaters...  Going to be a "fun night".

Hunker down.. Betty Lou just had me turn on the ac near my chair to knock some of the humidity off. She also turned the small one on in the bedroom.
She did some laundry today and hung towels and bed sheets out on the line. I was surprised how fast they dried. We did have a nice breeze.
