Well, didn't take long to clean "the other" gun up. A bit of Balistol and some fine steel wool on the stainless and wood and a wipe down. Then some moly on the trigger contacts. Cleaned up the vintage BSA "Classic" scope and sited it in within 5 shots.
Another 10 just for gits and shiggles...

Now I'll slip it into a gun sock and wait for the second part of this deal to be complete before I return it to Sheriff West. That will be next weekend because I need to run to Troy Wednesday for some added ingredients and a propane tank for my cooker.

The picture says it all, looks easier than it will be, tiny car, need to fully remove the wipers and wiper assembly before even seeing the shock towers.

Mornin Y'all! Up at the crack of noon! I'm on vacation and the memsahib is entirely too soft and warm. Cain't help but stay in bed!

Anyhoo. . . . . Had to get up eventually. It's storming good this a.m. Rain flailing the tin roof, wind howling, dog cowering under the table kinda day.

It's a perfect day to test out my foul weather gear! For days like this I've got my sawed off Crosman Shockwave boat gun. Waders and rubber wellies for sure today!

Another great thing about days like this...
Like many of us who don''t work in an ice cream shop, I worked for the weekends. And I hated working all week just for it to rain on the weekend and ruin everything I may have had planned. Now it don't matter, I'll just postpone it until tomorrow, or the next day, or the next...

I can go weeks at a time not knowing what day of the week it is.

Morning!
I went to bed last night and then woke up at 4:45 with a Pain in the Neck.... no, not Hoosier Momma... a literal bad neck.
It now goes from the back of my skull, down the left side, clear to my left shoulder.

I planned on doing 10m indoor shooting today but we will have to see how that pans out.

I need to go to the Lodge about 2:00 and help my wife prep for some big sports activity party today.
Hope to be home by 4:00 to avoid the drunken has-been Jocks that think yelling at the T.V. is going to change the outcome...
*sigh*

Supposed to be nice whether so it may be a good evening to shoot outside for a change!

Rare occurrence this morning..
Woke up at 3am.. that in itself was strange because we didn't even go to bed until later than usual. I got up, made coffee and Rambo wanted to eat so I fed him. I got coffee and took my pills. I put something on Red Bull TV and sat there for a few huffing on the vaper and just got very sleepy. So I crawled back in bed and just felt Betty Lou getting up so I got up too.

Good morning, the sun is shining and the wind is almost gale force until later this afternoon. 3" of rain in the gauge so the yard is a swamp for a few days before working on that project. In the last stages of the wood working project. Started a few more yesterday. Move ammo lead to the new 20lb melter and clean up the 10lb to cast fishing jigs and sinkers. Finish rigging sabikis, the mackerel will be here soon. Just taking the day as it comes.

We ran out of propane last night so I swapped another bottle. I've got to stop off in town and get the big 100lb bottle filled. Hunt for a couple of hours then see what the memsahib wants to do.

Cold and windy this morning. Slight chance of rain/snow tonight with 2 inches predicated for tomorrow and 6 inches tue. Not even suppose to get above freezing Wed with a low of 11 Wed night. Suppose to start a pet setting job Thursday afternoon so hope I can get out.

Just bouncing in and out taking a few shots here and there with various airguns. Overcast and cool here this morning but I think the rain is gone, for now.
Plan to watch the "Big game" later and maybe have a beer or 2. Betty Lou pulled some home made soup out of the freezer for later. It's a good day for a pot of hot soup.

Biggest event of the day for me will be slow cooking a rack of ribs, trying a new recipe. Of course I'll do some shooting. I'm hoping to have the ambition to list some items for sale on Armslist and Craigslist, and maybe try selling some stuff on Ebay. I really gotta get rid of a lot of stuff. I'm a gonna swap a scope from HW30s to Webley Osprey.

Up at 4:00 as usual for a Sunday morning. Sunday school at 10:00 AM Ch**ch at 11:00 AM

I had a Wedding rehearsal afterwards today. Then lunch, we have Ch**ch at 5:00 PM this afternoon/evening with a business meeting after the service. I think it will be a short one though.

Up at 4am, fed the dogs and they went out.
Store run for dog food today and I'm sure Betty Lou will pick up a few other things. Our bulk store run will be later this week after the eagle poops.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! Up at 0430 CST. The dog got walked and coffee’s been had. I have a 2 hour drive to fix a couple freezers. I’m going to get rolling, my boss wants to have a zoom meeting at 0830. I’d like to be on-site by then because I’ve been able to blow off the last 3 zoom meetings.

Late start this morning. Today is paint the new door on the chicken coop door. Make carpenter bee traps before the little buggers wipe my porch out. Clean up some of the mess in the yard. Prune fruit trees and prep sites for new ones.
