Made a store run for today's events.
Lil' smokies
Ritz crackers
Sharp cheddar cheese
Chili sauce ( to mix with grape jelly in the crock for the smokies)
Hawaiian loaf bread for dippin' in the bbq sauce.
Beer
and Kibbles n Bits for the dogs... 
We invited the young couple (Killer's nephew) who now own the property we rent.
He hasn't been in that bar since he was a little kid. Lots of new stuff now and also old stuff that he will remember.

I got the haircut done yesterday morning, went home and showered and went to Desert Hot Springs Spa. We got there about noon-ish. It was 70°F with no wind, perfect! We played and soaked in the pools and sat in the sauna until 4:30 PM. We stopped and had some great Mexican food on the way home.

After the haircut this is how I looked just out of bed this morning with no grooming.

Evenin y'all.  Well I spent the day doing my primitive fishing interpretive program at Torreya state park.  I had some fun.  Hung out with some old park service buddies.  Tomorrow I start two weeks of much needed vacation.  The memsahib and I plan to head south.  We'll visit St. Augustine where we have friends and then avoid Daytona and that awful NASCAR circus.  Its too bad its speed week because it attracts all kinds of morons to the east Florida coast this time of year.  We're going down to Sebastian Inlet and the McLarty treasure museum.  We are going to beach comb on the treasure coast for a week.  I'll get to do some pier fishing and hang out with friends.  Should be therapeutic!

 Bunny hunt went well, 12 ga 3 Wing shot 1, I did let the dog owner have most of the fun, but was just as fun to watch the dogs work the rabbits towards us.
 PS fun fact, he had to pay 2 bottles of home made wine for his best dog

Rambo came in the bedroom and let off one little bark... I heard him and looked up at the clock...
How does he do that? It was 5:00 on the dot. It's like he can tell time.
I fed them and let them out. Rambo did his business and promptly returned to the door...
Boss, on the other hand, took the full monty tour of the property stopping randomly to bark at... nothing.
I watched her on the cameras and it's like she was ghost chasing.
While she was out, I got my coffee and pill bottle breakfast.
She came back in and returned to the bedroom to cry and growl at Betty Lou.
It wasn't long before I heard those familiar words.... "Get the %$@# outta here, Boss". That always makes me grin.

readying for church then it's off to the house to see how far they got this week.  from there i'm loading the boat with some clothes. (i always keep enough food & water on board for 2 weeks for an inpromtu "bug out")  the wife is out of town so i have until thursday to sail.  thursday night is the open house at the local range i plan to join, so i need to be home for that.

I just tried to install it but it wouldn't work. Went ahead and just deleted it.
My wife's dang dog ripped the @#$!! out of the back of my right hand last night. He's around 10 months old now but weighs 90+ lbs and is just 1 big diffuse. I was trying to get a big stick out of his mouth so I could bring him in and just as I got it out he jumped up to grab it again and my hand got in the way. Man, I've only had 1other wound bleed like that and that's when the face of a hammer let go and shot into the side of my wrist. I immediately went into the bathroom and put it under the facet and the blood just kept flowing and flowing. I'm thinking to myself how am I going to get it to stop. Luckily my wife is a retired wound care nurse and got me fixed up. Took me a half hour to get all of the blood cleaned up from the back porch all of the way to the bathroom.
