Mornin Y'all

I woke up at 4:30 to harmonizing dogs. They totally need alot more rehearsing but I am considering sending them on a road tour anyways... 
Gonna finish my coffee and hit the shower. Weather is reported to be dry and sunny today but the temps will just barely break into the 50's.
No specific plans for the day. I'll do something airgun related.... just not sure what yet. Maybe I'll begin by topping off all tanks and guns. That usually incites a side track into something else.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I busted my butt yesterday on the kitchen plumbing… short version is it was a lot of grease… and the rudimentary plumbing & plunging clogged up the vent pipe from the bottom up. All the snaking and hot water & liquid heat helped, but I wound up on the roof pouring boiling water down the vent pipe followed with blasts of dry nitrogen until it was cleared. Then I had a mess to cleanup. Got everything flowing and mess cleaned up around 1630…thankfully, I was home from work because of the snow.
I got up this morning around 0430 hours and had 2 cup o’Joe and need to get out to work. I have a compressor to replace in a large freezer.

  I slept from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM. I stayed in bed almost another hour trying, got up at 4:50^?

  Not sure what I am going to do today, yesterdays plan got messed up, I had to do some financial reports, take a trip into my house in town, and then it was time for Bible study at Ch**ch.

  It's 36°F, today is suppose to get to 61°F with 20mph NE wind.

 I might work on the '69 GMC motor mounts tomorrow which is forecast 69° with maximum 3mph WNW breeze (NICE).

  My wife should be gone to her stitching group today, I may go to the house in town and continue going through stuff, the trash goes there today and the can is almost full so I need to get it to the curb and bring it back in after it gets emptied anyway. There are some weeds to take care of there too, if I can get to them before the wind gets to be too much... lots of options to get to sometime. I still have not touched the '71 Impala 400 that is sitting in the driveway there, that will come pretty soon.

 I have a grand daughter that is anxious to have that car in MO, so I am going to drive it to her when I get to it. My son told me it needs valve cover gaskets, he was keeping up with it's condition back when the lady that owned it was still driving it and said she they were leaking a bit and was going to have them done but then had to quit driving. I will have to get it road worthy, hoses, belts, valve cover gaskets, tires. Of course I will start with the carburetor. My son says that car has sat for 13-14^? years.

  That Impala reminds me of the Impala I drove my first day at Drivers Ed except it was a four door 455. My first day out the girl that was supposed to drive half the time spun us around pulling out on the main highway through town 1 mile into her turn, so she got dropped back off and the I drove for the whole time. City, mountains, and freeways for me that day, (I already knew how to drive), I had been driving dirt roads in my brothers Datsun for over a year, including drifting it, LOL.

  Catch some for me too!  It has been too long since I went fishing, I don't want to buy a CA fishing license because I know I won't take the time to use it enough to make it worth while. Too many projects in the queue.

  In CA there is a reduce fee license for 65 and up that meet certain low income criteria, fortunately for me I don't, but as little as I would get around to fishing it would be nice if I could get the reduced fee. Choices... I have bought the MO out of state resident license a few times when visiting my son. Now that we own a house there it may be cheaper?

 Two years ago when visiting I taught a granddaughter who had no former interest in fishing how to catch fish and she loves fishing now.   

  I taught my kids at White Water hatchery when they were little. There you catch a trout every time with barbless hooks as long as you keep the line tight, and PAY by weight. It was a bit expensive, but guaranteed them to have a great time "fishing".

That's why I pour my grease into a jug via funnel then seal and toss when full. No muss no fuss and no aggravating repairs for me or the next owners.

Good morning, it's Friday, paycheck day, what am I going to do this weekend day. Anyway, fishing was a dud yesterday but the weather wasn't. Today, I hit the ground running, shopping for me and the zoo, wait for UPS to drop off a package, and go eat dinner with a long time co-worker.

I didn't hear anything but at 4:30 I kinda felt the bed move. I must have dozed back off because at 5:00 am I felt the bed move again.
Turns out Betty Lou had got up, made coffee, fed the dogs and let them out and back in. She was coming back to bed.
I got up, got coffee, took meds and sat down in my chair feeling like the whole World had changed.
This just ain't normal...

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Yesterday kicked my butt, that compressor job was rough, and I didn’t even get to finish it- there was a sweat-to-thread adapter I needed that wasn’t there, nor could be had same day. Oh well, today’s Friday… I got up at 0500 CST, I’m one coffee down, one more to go and I need to get moving. I’ve got a couple freezer doors to repair in Eureka Springs, with a nice ride through the mountains to get there. They’re hills compared to Oregon… but, compared to Oklahoma- they’re mountains. I’ll visit with my chiropractor on the way out.

That's why I pour my grease into a jug via funnel then seal and toss when full. No muss no fuss and no aggravating repairs for me or the next owners.

Normally, she pours it in her grease jug… so I thought… turns out dirty grease she dumps. That night, she tried her hand with making a ton of empanadas. The grease was full of crumbs… I had no idea she’d been dumping it. She learned something very valuable, I think.

I almost didn't feel anything.. we have one of those California King memory foam type beds. I think what I felt was the blankets moving what she got up.

I know the feeling… we’ve got a king size bed and I can sleep through anything, even a tornado 
But, if my wife gets in or out of bed while I’m sleeping, I wake up.

It does happen though. Most are in northern Alabama or north "Near Alabama" though and small enough to go unnoticed.
