I am up late, yeah I slept in, 2 days of being cooped in the house cleaning up the mess has worn me out. Time for a change, sun is shinning, winds are in my favor to be fishing on the cape. Get the cooler loaded up, bait out of the shop freezer, lunch and something to drink made, and warm clothes to wear.

I might even load up the Rancher and head down to the river side trails. I like checking things out after a couple rain days. Lots of things change on the banks.

Up at 6:30 am. Temp is 20 with a wind chill of 7. 🥶🥶 We were suppose to get snow last night but didn't get anything.🎉🥳🥳 Wife's suppose to go into town to drop off some used tires and wheels she's selling for a friend of ours. She's going to head in real early so that the dirt roads are still frozen so she doesn't have to deal with the mud.

I was up almost 22 hours until 1:40 AM, went to sleep and woke up at 5:00, turned over and got back to sleep, woke up at 6:30 AM, got back to sleep and woke up and got up at 7:58 AM.

 I feel like I slept well, and weighed 198 lbs this morning. 
 I am having my coffee and checked the weather forecast and they revised the temp down a bit. Now it says the high will be 57°F today. I am not sure what I will do today.

Up early this morning, waiting for daylight so I can clean fish. Found live bait yesterday and was able to catch black drum and whitting. The whitting are just starting to get fired up around here. I may go back out this after noon weather permitting. The weather was nice and not to cold.

My Rambo alarm clock went off right at exactly 5am as normal. And since he don't have a snooze button, I had to get up.    He ate but didn't want out.
I ended up in the spare bedroom last night. Boss woke me up in our bedroom around 11:30 last night wanting out. She wasn't taking no for an answer. Must have been some critter trespasser because she went to barking and wouldn't stop. After a bout 30 minutes straight I could no longer see her in the security camera but I could still hear her barking down by the barn at the far north fence line. So I got dress, grabbed a flashlight and a shotgun and went out to see what was up. She met me about halfway to the barn on her way back in. I heard Nick's dogs barking about 1/4 mile away at his place so I figured they were just barking back and forth at each other.
I came in and decided to go to the spare bed and let Betty Lou sleep. Boss hasn't even stirred yet, sound asleep and I'm think about barking in her ear until she gets up just for payback.

Trust me! I've used them for over 20 years. And I have done probably Million+ Square feet of flooring of all types.
I also wear mine for anything that involves getting on my knees. Working on the cars, fixing anything on the ground, you name it.
I'm 65 now and can still work all day, on my knees, and not have any issues.

Good “afternoon” GTA! I was up at 0500 CST. Hit the ground running, ran new controls for 2 gas-fired hanging heaters and now it’s snowing/sleet… supposed to do this until tomorrow, maybe 5”-8”. I’m headed home.

Just came back in from one of our daily walk abouts with the dogs.
Since I got sick last year I've been slowly recovering and getting strength back. There for awhile I had to stop several times during our walks because I would get dizzy and lose my breathe. Sometimes I even went to the ground.
I'm still not 100% and don't know if I'll ever be but, I am recovering. About halfways back from the barn Rambo asked me if I wanted to race. I think it was a setup because he knew I had been sick.
Mind you, Rambo is getting old and looks alot like Forest Gump when he tries to run.... poor guy..
Anyways, not to be out done by a geriatric dog, we took off... Ok, maybe "took off" is a stretch.
Meanwhile, Betty Lou has her finger hovering over 911 on the cell phone and Boss sat down as if she was amazed that a person and a dog could simultaneously run in slow motion.
It was a photo finish at the front porch and I could hear Betty Lou laughing right behind us.
Me: "I didn't know you were running too". 
Her: "I wasn't"...

Black drum is decent eating if they ain't too big.  I might do some pier fishing if the whiting are moving.  good luck!

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! I was up til just passed midnight for a clogged kitchen sink. I got up at 0400 CST. I’m not done with it yet, but I don’t have much farther to go. It looks like my wife poured grease down the sink. We’re not going anywhere today, we’re pretty much snowed in. I barely got home after work when we had just 3 or 4 inches of sleet and snow. We got about at least 6 more inches of snow since then. I’m not going to my meeting this morning, so I just need to wait for the girls to wake up so I can snake the kitchen drain. Before the drain incident started, I shoveled the snow once and since it’s a heavy wet snow, the limbs on the trees are drooping. I trimmed a bunch of limbs I couldn’t otherwise, except on a ladder. After my coffee(s) I’m going to trim a bunch of other limbs I’d like to hit and shovel the drive and walk ways one last time.

Roaring winds woke me up at around 3am. I laid in bed and listened to it for an hour until it slacked off.
We live in a mobile home in the woods and it's a bit unnerving at times.
I've got the local news on and they haven't reported and damages yet. At least not in our area.
How is it possible that NYC has gone 321 consecutive days without measurable snow? Just heard that on the news.
Anyways.... no big plans for today. Take it as it comes.

I think you’re right, Bill. I think I pulled enough gunk out last night. I just might go ahead and put the traps back together and dump boiling water and cleaning vinegar down there and let it fly, without having to wait for the girls to wake up.
