I've been to those beaches and I agree. They are much better viewed from a balcony such as Harpoon Harry's or the like..

I'm too stove up for much of anything today.  The Fisher Price orthopedic clinic keeps sending my prescriptions to a pharmacy an hour away.  I'm getting along on Naproxen Sodium and rum.  Yesterday I sat in the sun and watched the memsahib level the foundation for our new green house.  Today is probably more of the same.  The 2240 is still leaking out the barrel even after I rebuilt the valve.  Must have done something wrong.  I might poke around in there some.

Up at 4:00 AM, Ch**ch at 10:00-12:00ish. I was just getting ready to leave for lunch when a guy I met a couple of years ago walked up the driveway. He needed a ride home 12 miles away from town. So we had a little detour before going to town to eat. He had just walked 5 miles from town where he had gotten some small parts to repair his car. The views of the San Gorgonio mountains from up the road were really beautiful from the higher ground.

Nothing planned for this afternoon until Ch**ch at 5:00 tonight.

Just lost half of 1 of my molers. It's the same tooth that was absessed about 3 months ago. I'm eating a sub sandwich and it just let go.

Boss and Rambo woke us up to go outside and eat a little early this morning.
They were outside when the trash truck came to pick up and ran to the gate barking like wild dogs.
We set the trash container outside the gate every Sunday night.
I never saw a guy dump the trash so fast... may have something to do with the 'beware of dog' sign on the gate.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 04-something. I made a cup of coffee and Chillie was at my feet and wanted to go out. I have to walk her on the leash because I need to fix the gates where she can get out still. That went well and now I need another cup of coffee before I get ready for work. I have a freezer that needs a new power plug to the compressor to see if I can get it to start. I also need to get the oil changed in the work van on the way to the job.

Yeah, they always run to the gate and bark when someone pulls up. This morning they came out of the darkness. I bet that was a rush for the trash guy. They are rarely out that early when the trash picks up so those guys aren't used to seeing the dogs.

On a bicycle I was not fast enough to outrun many dogs.  So when they came on the road to attack my bicycle/me, I would usually stop and wait for the dogs to get bored and go back in the yard.  The barking ones were usually all bark.  But those that came running with no bark - get off the bicycle and put it between you and the dog.
(In about 50 years of bicycle riding, I was bitten only once - yep, it was a Pit Bull.)

Took a walk out to the mailbox and the title to my truck was there. I paid it off last month. That puts another $350 a month back into the budget. Plus I can drop the mandatory full coverage insurance to liability. Plus I get $174 cost of living increase on my SS this month. That's roughly a $600 per month pay raise. Retirement just got that much more comfortable.

Turning a new poppet for the AEA Varmint when I get home from work today.

Strangest thing, it was fine when I removed the barrel for a wax job but when I aired it up from 3k to 3.5k, I heard it snap.

Good thing I had a spare and have peek and Ti rods.

Yep, I would definitely buy a vehicle that would traverse the road and not fix it.
I suppose I don't completely understand your living arrangement. Seems to me someone would be obligated.
