Bet she didn't like watching Everyone Love's Raymond then with ol' Korean war vet Frank calling his boys Nancy every time he thought they were sissies.

I woke up a around 3 am this morning.
Thats normal for me.
I have been sleeping "tactical" ever since I was discharged from the Army in 1973.
After sleeping a couple of hours, I wake up and "check the perimeter".
I usually sleep some more, then I wake up and get up.

First off, I posted in the Back Room.
Now am going out and take down the Christmas lights outside.
It is +28 F outside right now and it is supposed to reach +37 F.
Maybe some shooting today..I'm not sure.
I have got some snow removal to do today.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday- it’s Hump-Day already! Up at 0400 CST. I used to sleep “tactical”, Tom. I’ve almost always been able to sleep on command and wake up every 2 hours and sleep another 2 hours and so on, until it was time do whatever I was supposed to be doing. 3 years after the Army, I got into HVAC and I learned to sleep 6+ hours straight and pretty much have been doing that since. I usually, if work, etc. allows- get to sleep by 2200 hrs and get up at 0400. I only use an alarm clock if I really need to be up by a certain time. And I usually beat it. It also depends on how much I get beat up the day before, but 6 hours sleep is usually enough for me.

Yesterday I worked on 5 package units straight with no heat, complete tear down and inspect- put back together and got 3 going. 2 of them were too far gone, heat exchangers burned out with holes and broken parts. I had to quote them.

Today I have a site with no heat, but I’ve not seen their units yet. I have worked on their refrigeration, so I know the package units are on the roof. It’s supposed to get to 55* today, but really windy, up to 40 mph.

Yeah, he's up around 100 lbs. Last time at the vet he was 102. We had to cut out the people food handouts.
I always tease Boss that we are going to put an apple in her mouth and toss her on the bbq grill.

They each have their own bed like that but more often than not you'll find them laying close like that. And the beds are first come first serve. That one is the preferred bed because it's next to Betty Lou's chair.

It rained all night but it's moved out now and foggy, there are a couple of mud puddles in my backyard. It is 54°F and suppose to get to 60°F today.

Our revised (again) 10 day forecast shows no more rain until late Friday and then 6 days with a good chance of some rain, Saturday being the day with the most rainfall (1.16").

I am not going to too serious about getting much done today, just take it easy and we have Ch**ch tonight. I think we need to go grocery shopping today though, at least to pick up a few things including Decaf coffee that my wife drinks.

Got back from a store run a while ago and Betty Lou went into the kitchen. I heard a sharp curse word and wondered what the dogs got into... nothing, they were outside while we were gone. Apparently she forgot to turn the crock pot on this morning. Ham and bean soup will be a couple hours late today...

Already had a couple cups of coffee and a walk with Mrs. P.  Heading outside in a few to test the Royale with the original barrel reinstalled.  Might shoot a springer or two?  Need to continue stacking wood and the MIL and BIL are supposed to show up early afternoon.

Ended up with about a half inch of rain last night with the last bit being snow. Real froggy out and very little light. Not going anywhere today if possible. We were suppose to get 2 packages delivered  but think they are being smart and not delivering today as they come out of Flagstaff.

I just finished up with the outside Christmas lights.
It was a Big job, everything was iced in place.
I managed to get all the electrical cords up without damage.
I'm taking a break right now and letting it all dry off in my heated garage.
I started the heat up in the garage right after I did the first post.
I don't normally run the heat in the garage.
That just adds to an already steep heat bill.
I have a forced air furnace out there.
Lots of ice and crusty snow on everything.
The snow was knee deep to mid thigh and like walking around in quicksand. 
The drifted areas was waist deep.
I used my wood hauling sled to drag it all in.
The cords were real stiff and hung up on every thing on the way in.
That's the price I pay for a "White Christmas"

Just got back from town. We ate breakfast $37 with the tip, I filled my RAM with Diesel for 4.99 per gallon=$120 (I had about 1/4 tank left), and bought $301 in groceries.

I’ll have to see the PM requirements to know what all is in store. But, I’ll have to get on the roof for unit data, filter & belt sizes & quantities first. It’s supposed get to the mid 60*s, hopefully less wind.

I woke up at 4:30 and got up for the day.
Yesterday I took down the outside Christmas lights and removed 1/2 of the snow from the garage roof.
The Christmas stuff is in the garage melting off the ice and snow. Once they are dry I will pack them away for storage.
We need to run some errands today but I plan on removing the other 1/2 of the snow from the garage then start on the house.
That's the plan for today. I don't know how much I will get done but I do know that I will make a big dent in the work.

I'll be interested in seeing how you like the battery powered electric chain saw.
I have a 37 year old Stihl 034 super and a corded electric saw.
I have been about picking up a battery powered saw for the small stuff.
