Pipes are still frozen. Luckily the have cold water in the kitchen and toilet so we can get by will only slight inconvenience. Heat water on the stove for sponge bath, dishes and whatever else we may need. Betty Lou said Christmas dinner will go as planned.. It's supposed to warm back up this evening and tonight. That will tell the tale if any lines are broken. The bar/mancave is on a separate meter so I shut that off. It is the most likely to have pipes busted because it's not insulated. So if there are broken pipes we won't have water blowing everywhere. Once it thaws I can turn it on slowly and check things out.
It's a good thing I retired, I don't need to worry about getting back to work right away and have time to address this.

 Christmas take 2, we canceled yesterdays gathering due to snow drifting, and hope to get this over with today, maybe July if today falls through LOL

Good morning GTA!!! Merry Christmas!!! I woke up about 0400 and the house was/is quiet, so I turned the coffee maker on and laid back down until 0500 CST. I’m having my first coffee, it’s been awhile since we only had one kid in the house… so, it’s up to just Ayrabella to start our Christmas Day. I suspect she’ll get up around 0700-0800, so I’ll have 2 or 3 cups O’Joe by then & perhaps a shower, even. 
We have Ch**ch at 1000 hrs, I have to be there at 0930- I have a reading part in today’s service. It’s 13* right now, but we have a heat wave coming- it should get to 36* with plenty of sun. I hope and pray for good health & healing for all and power, heat and water to go back to working for you all that are dealing with those troubles.
My reading part is Matthew 1:18-25

We have Ch**ch at 10:00, not sure what we are doing this afternoon unless it is a Motorcycle ride in our 80°F+ weather. Tomorrow will be nice also, then it looks like rain for 8^? days.

Tossed and turned all night because natertot was tossing and turning all night. Santa came and left stockings and presents for the kids. Now bfast is in the oven.

Merry Christmas ya'll!  God bless and keep you all.  I'm headed to work.  That's the only downside of being a park ranger (if there is a down side).  We work 365 days a year cause there will be a lot of people who want to go to the park on holidays.  I'm driving boats today and we're only running six tours so it will be easy.
Besides, it's what I love to do!

I had Christmas with the family last night.
We were all over to my son's lake home.
I was pleased to spend more time with my little 5 year old Great Grand Daughter Elizabeth.
She is wants to come over to Papa's house and shoot with me.
Her mother Rebecca wants to come over and shoot too, just like she did when she was little.
I have just the gun for both of them.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 0400 CST. Today is my little shooting partner’s… err, Little Princess’ Birthday! Ayrabella turns “10” today! It’s been basically celebrating Christmas all over again the past 9 years, but this year she’s double-digits and she’s growing up. I have a feeling she’ll sleep in till about 0800. We got her a few gifts this year that go with a couple gifts she got for Christmas. She’s quite the “artist” and she’s very “crafty” when we’re not shooting airguns. So, we got her a 3D pen and filament, family pitched in for more 3D filament. That’s what she wanted this year. I’m sure she’ll have fun learning that. Other than that, she wants Chinese Buffet for her Birthday dinner!

Dang, I still wake up early even when it’s X’mas vacation for me 

Last day of work was the 20th, and we are to go back on the 5th.

Right now, my days are spent spit-shining every crevice of the house, as it’s only me and our boarder.

Family is in the PI for 10 days.

Son said he could no longer drive in our city with all the crazy traffic and driving habits of the Pinoys, lol!

Haha, Sir- Rick!!! She’s the youngest of 6: 3 boys and 3 girls, the girls are between 9-10 years apart- so she’s not my granddaughter, although our oldest daughter made me a Grandpa 2x. 
But I’ve learned my lesson with each of the first 2 girls… no boys allowed until she really has her head on her shoulders.
When Ayrabella turns 18, I’ll turn 60… so, I’ve come up with a plan to sign the house & property over to Ayrabella when she’s 20, she just needs to let her Mom & Pop live here, when I retire at 62: to look after the place (and her  )
