Tom.. I don't miss the snow.. at all.
It was a chilly 41 at 5am this morning and headed for upper 70's with clear sunny skies.
I put a hoodie on and Boss and I walked the perimeter.

Hi Bill.

7 am at my place, it was 30 F. this morning.
It is supposed to warm up to 40 F. later on today with intermittent rain and snow showers.
My oldest son lives in Ft. Mill Sc. it is 72 F. there.
I have to get going om my preparations for this coming winter.
I have got a feeling that we are going to have an early winter this year.

Snow, WOW!!! It’s going to be 83* here today… by Wednesday or so the low is predicted to get to 27*!
I wound up getting 2 calls for work today. I generally have a better attitude at work on Fridays… but I just found out I got a raise! I’m feeling pretty good right now.

Yep, winter is coming and my assignment is to wrap all of the pipes in the garage that is our water for the house. It's all PVC and it's been known to get down in the single dig around here and we're trying to save on propane. We have a heater in the garage and it really doesn't use all that much but at $3.24 a gallon.......
No, I didn't plumb it, the original owner did. I'd love to replumb it in pecs but have no experience working with that stuff.

I feel your pain in the summer I keep the place cool for around 75 a month in the winter to keep it even livable 270 to 325 a month in electric.

My electric is all solar and propane powered generator. The generator comes on enough during the winter just to power the fridge,water pump, and TV as it is. TV is a big user at 90 watts an hour and the dang fridge seems to run all of the time. Need to get a new TV and fridge.

Base board heat in a house with &^^& or no insulation dose not help. Not my place so nothing I can really do to fix it.

Now that really @#$&&!!! I grew up in a house like that with just 1 wall heater. At least it was in north orange county commiefornia. My problem was we'd flood every winter and I'd be out there in the rain digging trenches to drain it off. My mom lived there for 40 years and finally a new owner fix the flooding problem. She was in a wheelchair and my father was dead and I wasn't there to help because I was over seas. Luckily the neighbors looked out for her.

Woke at 3:30 AM got up at 3:45 AM, half way through my coffee now.

Rain is likely today, it looks like I can get outside until at least noon though?
I knew I could make it rain by getting my truck all polished up!    It's all good I got a ceramic coat on it yesterday so, it will shine with just another wash Sunday afternoon.

Woke up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm walking into work now and can't wait to get off so I can shoot this airsoft gun I received last night.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! Up at 0530, I slept in and it was good. I’m still pain free and my wife has to go into town for provisions. We need rain desperately and tonight we’re supposed to get some. We’ve been in a burn ban for awhile, but I’ve got some burning that needs done when they lift the ban. Hopefully, tonight’s rain will do it. After 1900 hrs it’s supposed to rain all night into the morning. But today is supposed to be beautiful. It’s supposed to get to the 80*s and Monday or Tuesday will be our 1st freeze. Might as well take advantage, Ayrabella & I are going to do some stuff outside, a little bit of cleanup. And I’m planning on refreshing up some paint on steel targets and shooting some airguns while the paint dries.

Just got back from a 30 mile dirt bike ride. I'm so rusty that it took over half the ride to loosen up and ride at maybe 60 percent of my usual. I'll be feeling it tomorrow but it's worth it!😉👍👍

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I woke up to a thunderstorm about 0230 and went back to bed. I’m glad we got some rain, we needed it. I got up at 0530 and the rain has moved on by. Just south of us they got a lot more rain I wished we had. It’s 62* and only supposed to get to 72* or so. The temperature is really supposed to drop over the next few days. We have Ch**ch this morning and a Nascar race to watch later on. I might shoot an airgun sometime in between.

Good morning fellow airgun fanatics!  A Happy and Glorious Sunday to you all! I woke at 0300 ..... went back to bed but couldn't get back to sleep so I got up at 0345 CT.  It been a busy few weeks. Renovations at my younger daughter's house ended up more complicated than we had hoped but maybe pretty soon I be able to lay the flooring and be done. Oh wait.... I have to repair her outbuilding too.

Yesterday I helped my son level and brace the covered 10'x12 'deck/porch that we had moved last Sunday from the front to the back of his step daughter's mobile home. Yesterday we also attached the flashing on the mobile home to eventually join the two rooftops together.
