I'm working on a half-dozen fuel interfaces and apparently our illustrious IT department has some stuff all jacked-up so I've not been getting notifications that I need to prioritize work.  First-world problems     

Before I started work I cleaned a couple outdoor carpets with the little pressure washer.  Brainless tasks like that are good for a mental "re-set".  I have some side projects to work on- reorganizing nuts/bolts/screws/nails.  I see a trip to HFT for a wall organizer in my near future.

Up before the crack of dawn. I only hurt when I move or when don't move this morning, but it is a beautiful morning 62° out currently. I have a lot to do but don't feel like starting on any of it. So I am drinking my Coffee and will push through what ever obstacles I encounter though.

I need to go to the house in town later and help load a HEAVY love seat and couch set (the kind with built in recliners) for my oldest daughter to take home to Montana. I would hope she can line up muscle and I can just supervise, but that is very unlikely. As long as I don't bend I can do it, any bending is what I will pay for in pain, So I hope the help on the other end is strong as I am and tall.

Waiting for Doc to call me back.
Betty Lou and I had a long talk and depending on what the Doc says, I may be retiring a bit sooner than planned. As a matter of fact, it could be the 30th of this month.
I had a talk with the folks at the SSA this morning and we set up a phone appt. for Sept 29th to finalize things. My first check will direct deposit mid Nov.
Betty Lou and I figure our finances and we'll be just fine.
It's time to get the stress out of my life while I still can.

Bill, when I retired my blood pressure and cholesterol went way down along with the stress level.   No more middle of the night and holiday emergency calls either.  Plus you can look forward to a lot more shooting time.   The downside was a lot more time to cook and eat and gain weight.   I also found not-working to be more boring than working, not that I'm eager to back to my old job.

This is PM not AM but I finished the setup for my Pipe Shelf Supports.
Looking for the Hardware I purchased for the job, not sure if it is just misplaced or the ld mind is playing tricks again !

As soon as I locate the hardware I will mount the Pipe Supports and tomorrow AM I will cut the Shelf Boards. (sanded Red Oak)

I used a spray on poly coating, usually turns out smooth after a light sanding, and cutting the edges with the sandpaper and sanding block.

Good luck Bill!  Positive attitude the main thing!  I just had all my teeth pulled in large part because my GP thought it would be a really good idea given my family history of heart disease.

Well I’m not living anything like as healthy as Bill but I have given up $2 cigars and cheap bar likker.

From now on nothing but the best.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! Up at 0400 CT. I’m having my first coffee in the garage and it’s downright chilly outside- 59*. It’s supposed to get to 85* today though. This morning, first stop is my chiropractor. It’s been 3 weeks since my first injection and I need adjusted. My hips and my neck & shoulders at least. After that, I have a site that has been trying to cool their warehouse this past month off of their sales floor unit. Looks like I’m going to have to quote some ductwork. They had me move the thermostat, now the sales floor is freezing.

Yessir, I'll put my notice in at work this morning. Their MO is to offer people who leave money to stay.
It's not about money for me, I'm done. Worked all my life and it's time to enjoy what I have left. I need to focus on the issues I have right now so I can enjoy it.

Going to work the Wall today, found all the hardware purchased for the Pipe Shelves.
Will hang two of them and hope they are level.

Cut some wood to fit, sand and poly coat.

After that hang two more of the Pipe Supports for the second set of shelves.

After that a Poker Game tonight, at 7 PM till when ever.

Tomorrow... will be a slower day, take off will be a 0630 to walk the dog, then maybe back to bed.  LoL !

I have been up for a while and think I am going to go outside until it gets too hot. It's 68°F now and will be 85°F around 10:30 AM, the high is suppose to be 97°F. So, I have about three hours to get something done out there before, then I will come inside and take it easy.
