I am blessed to be in my office with the AC but the idiot picking up the truck is going to do it at the hottest time of day. I told him before noon, the earlier the better. Oh well.

The dumb guy showed up with a fairly nice 3 axle car hauler but it didn't have a winch one ramp was 2' longer than the other one, and he left without it strapped down saying he would just strap it at the gas station that is 5 miles away. He really was stupid IMO and taking a huge risk driving it that way! If I had not helped and had a come-along I don't think he would have got it on the trailer at all.

It didn't help that the steering was locked and the key was not here.
It took an hour and a half to help with what should have been a 15 minute job, tops.
Shesh, some peoples children.

I do feel sorry for him, he seems like a nice guy and is trying with what he has to work with.

I just noticed he left two of his big long straps here, he lives about 2 hours away so it would not be worth the fuel coming back for them.

In his defense lol, he does live close to the beach where afternoon temps are much lower, BUT he should have known that.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day Weekend! I got up at 0400 CT. I've had my breakfast, read my Bible, had my first cup of coffee.

I'm about to step out and finish a little project before daylight. But I need another cup first.

 Not so good of a night here... woke up at 2:00, coughed and hacked until 3:00 starring at the ceiling. Finally got up and sat in the recliner. Cat napped until 5:00 then said screw it and made coffee.
Rumor has it I am taking 4 of the Grandkids to the Roller Skating Rink today.
 Maybe I just have to drop them off... can't remember... but if I have to stay it's going to be a LOOOONG Day.


I always chuckle when someone says "Be there early" seems anytime before noon is early to some... For me it's before 7:00am

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! Up at 0515 CT. I’m having coffee and perusing the GTA, contemplating shooting some more this afternoon. I put the airgun stuff away yesterday, but I left the car outside. Before I get ready for Ch**ch, I think I’ll set the benches back up. I’m thinking today will be a good day for the Walther LGU Varmint .22, maybe a little love on the FWB Sport, too.

I spent the night in the recliner as well. Woke up around midnight soaking wet with sweat. Not sure what that was all about. Dogs woke me back up at 5:00 to be fed and go outside. I turned on the recorded Xfinity race on from yesterday only to find a couple hour rain delay and we didn't record long enough to cover.
We talked a little about going to the ATV park today for some day riding but no real plan.

Woke up to my daughter making creepy noises in the living room. Then my son decided to be awake also. Weather looks like &^^& right now so probably just hang out today might get something good for lunch. Brewed up some coffee. We will get gussied up later.

Sitting on the Patio drinking coffee and watching a hummingbird. He perches on a tiny twig about three feet from the feeder when he's not lapping up the mix. He feeds about every two or three minutes then flies back to his perch.

It's misting rain so I'm not bringing my airguns out in this humidity.

Well I finished my little project this morning. 
I had some metal scraps left over from my spinner rack remodeling job so I decided to see what I could built.

I chose to do this without welding just for giggles.
I haven't painted it yet due to the misty weather this morning.

It's 19" wide and 24" tall.
The diameter of the smallest spinner is 5/8" and the largest is 1-1/2"

Weatherproof and very portable.

Gonna take my Escalade in for all new brake lines.
Lost ALL brakes in traffic Friday! Luck was on my side and was able to switch lanes and get off the main drag safely.
Then it was a SLOW drive home the 25 miles on back roads.
Down shifting and parking brakes took care of the few stops required.
It's 6 miles to my Mechanic and that will be a SLOW careful trip also.

Had that happen once to me. Luckily I didn't loose all brakes just most of them. Because the tree looked like a better option than the school bus in front of me to stop with. I was hauling the class A and sticks so my pucker factor was through the roof.
