What indeed?  Sitting on the patio with my peep sighted HW50S nearby, I just finished half of a deviled egg chased by a Sunny D.

Let's see, the bird feeder needs filling.  There is no softball on TV.  It's forecast to reach 95° today.  So, I reckon I'll try to hit a couple of spinner spoons in the shadows before going in.

In 2017, the boat, motor, and trailer was $4100, they have probably gone up since then. I can make 6-7 trips on 3 gallons of gas and go anywhere a kayak can go. Don't need a boat ramp, just find a place to back in and go for it. The boat weighs 150lbs., the motor is 55 lbs.

Not yet, I try to stay out of areas that would create that problem, I've had them get in the jon boat a few times in past. Mostly small ones trying get away from the bigger ones.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! Back to the grind… I had a pretty good weekend. Though, I didn’t shoot much, my wife’s gotten us back into watching NASCAR. I think what I need are lights on my mower so I can mow after work during the week, or silly-early on Saturday morning. That way we can do both. I don’t want to stop doing something she likes to do together. What I need is to get my shed/garage so I can clear out most of my garage for a 3rd shooting lane. If I can get her to shoot with us and I can work on getting her own rifle…

Anyway, this morning I need to get down to the Ft Smith area for a couple calls, hopefully it’ll be a little cooler than last week. First I need to finish one more cup o’joe, then take the trash out to the end of the driveway.

Good morning GTA! Yep it's Monday again!!  I had a pretty good weekend. Although, I didn’t get to shoot much yesterday, my son call at lunchtime and needed my assistance, I didn't get back home till close to 1750 CDT.

Yesterday morning before Ch**ch I shot my RWS-460 .22. I have it zeroed at 35 yards and at 60 yards I had no problem hitting the 1-1/2" spinners so I thought...hmm? What about 100 yards?  So I shot about 10 shots at 100 yrds to determine what holdover I would need.

I set two targets and shot 5 pellets at each of the targets. Shooting JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89gr pellets and with my Nikko Stirling Gameking 3.5-10x44 set at 10x I was able to hit one target with 4 pellets within the 4" circle and 3 pellets within the 4" circle on the other.

Now I need to find some who can print some NUAH targets.

Up at 5:00 out here on the West coast. I got an update on the Rockauto orders they were due on the 18th and now they are supposed to be delivered today. I hope they get here somewhat early but the high today is forecast 87°F so pretty nice! More wrenching to do, KYB shocks on the '72 Chevy pickup and a new power steering gear box for my '69 GMC. I will probably just do the shocks today though, but who knows if the delivery is early and it goes easy as it could, I might just do both today.

If you decide to send me some just make sure the 8 ring is EXACTLY four inches. I've heard of those who printed them having problems with the scaling. 

I proved this morning I can do it with that D460 underlever springer. Now if I'm able to duplicate that on an official NUAH target remains to be seen.LOL

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Up at 0440 CT, though the alarm was set for 0530. I hardly ever seem to sleep in until the alarm. I only sleep past the needed time when I don’t set the alarm. I got in from work after 2300 hrs, showered and went to bed. I have a 0730 service meeting with the boss and the 2 closest techs in my area. After that, they’ll continue to try to wreck me before my time is up. Actually, my boss and the company recruiter are trying to get me 2 more technicians. I sure hope they come through before too long. My opinion has always been -after it’s hot, it’s too late. If you find some guy that’s not working, he’s probably not worth a lick. I don’t need that. They better be trying to steal a decent tech by luring him out of whatever he’s doing by making a decent offer and hoping for the best. These guys should’ve been hired & trained by February.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday, I’m going to try at least. I always do, no matter what comes.

I was awake at 5:00 today, I think I am back to normal today so, I need to meet up with my younger brother and sort some of our dad's estate things out. Mostly it is his reloading desk which is an antique office desk that has all the draws full of misc. The desk was my grandpa's and is suppose to go to me but I am not sure where I could put it. I think the desks I have are more suitable for my use and I don't need another large piece of furniture. After I look it over and measure it I will have to decide if I keep it or let someone else have it, or sell it and have the money divided as part of the estate? I already have my great grandpa's small desk.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday - it’s Hump Day! Up at 0412 CT. This morning I’ll meet with the guys from Ch**ch at 0600. Then I need to shoot back down to the Ft Smith area to fix a freezer that has a refrigerant leak. I’ll need to find the leak, another tech spent a day on it and couldn’t find it. I lost my help that that lived closest to me yesterday. So now I need 3 more techs to get back on a somewhat even keel at work. The boss is working on it, but I think I need to start looking for help too.
