Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! Up at 0430… I’m getting pretty tired, but- I managed to get some mowing done after work, before dark last night. I’m finishing up my last cup of coffee and I’ll head on in to the chiropractor. I’ll have an hour and a half or so ride to my first job with 3 work orders for that site. However the day goes, I’m hoping to get home with enough daylight to finish up the mowing. Sure would be nice to not have any yard work to do on Saturday, maybe just the line trimming first thing.

I am off work. I have 5 vacation days to use up before June... use it or loose it!
Next week will be Thurs/Fri and same the following week.

Today I have already walked the parimter and found the ear bud I lost last night while mowing.
At 7:45 Me and Zoey took the Grand Daughter #1 (Dead eye Lou) to school... went to the middle school and she looked up from her cell phone at me in "The Look" she learned from Hoosie Momma and said "G-Pa.. I am in High school now"....
 My how time fly's... about face!
Came home, worked on my bycycle then took a short ride.
Then, put the 'old-wing on the battery charger for the first ride this season later.
Now, once the dew is gone, I am going to cut fallen trees up into campfire wood.... and then mow.

AND THEN.... SHOOT.... A LOT.

*EDIT* I think while I am waiting on the Dew to dry, I will go buy a fishing licence.... then go fishing.

I am hoping the brake pads for my road bicycle arrive today.  I would really like to ride this weekend.  It looks like California is the only US state that has a supply of these Shimano Dura Ace brake pads.  Hummm!

At present, I'm on the patio with my red dot HW30S shooting at a few spinner spoons.  Shortly, I'll retire to the shower, shave and proceed up to Tyler for an MRI.  I hope the MRI will progress into some improvement of my mobility?

Been a long time since I passed in a bar.... I was overdue. I rectified that last night. Woke up around midnight with Boss licking my face. So me and her staggered into the house and I woke up again this morning in my recliner. Best I can tell I drank almost a qt. of 'creek water'. I think I had a good time. I had to cut a tree down to get the ATV out of the woods. No clue how it got there....
Betty Lou made breakfast, eggs, shredded chicken, toast and a side of eye roll...

  The last three days I have walked over 4 miles per day according to my step app and lay down under the '72 Chevy Pickup and got up countless times. My neck muscles are really sore, I just don't put my head down when under a vehicle. I am sure glad that ground part is done, mostly. I am working on the truck out front in the parking lot but my tool shed is out back about 100 yards if I don't go though the house. I took the minimum of what I thought I would need to change the fuel pump, hoses and belts and walked back and forth for each "one tool more" that I needed. I could have brought all or most of the tools needed but thought the walking breaks would be needed. I enjoyed the time off the ground every time.

I also went to town both days, so there was other walking besides the back and forth tool runs too.

This is a good level of activity for me for now.

Today I have some errands to run and need to wash my Dodge pickup and get a hair cut. The next couple of days are suppose to get mid to high 90s°F.

Rowing is an outstanding way to exercise.  I paddle a solo canoe, another good workout.  For fishing I prefer my Jon boat and a set of 9’ oars.

Just reunited some dogs with their owner. Lady just moved up here off grid and hasn't had the dogs very long. They keep jumping a 6 foot fence.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday!!! Up at 0200 CT… yep, I’m getting crazier… yesterday didn’t go according to plan. I didn’t get the mowing done, I wound up working 15.5 hours for 69.5 hours so far, and I’m not even on call… tho, they tried to get me to take one yesterday before I was even finished with my last job. They also asked for volunteers for the weekend. I ain’t that crazy… but, I’m getting ready to finish my 3rd cup and go swap out another under-counter cooler, easy-peazy. They open at 0530, I intend to be back by 0700 so I can finish the mowing. There’s a water balloon fight scheduled between breakfast and lunch with Ayrabella. We have 100 hand grenade water balloons in a quick fill kit. Then nap before the Barn Meeting tonight.

 My cousin has that boat, I borrowed it several years back to use in a pond. I discovered that a leaf blower turns it into an air boat, and they can float a person in 6" of water

It's a 10 footer but yes with the tailgate down.

Last time I used it the water seeped in around the rivets so I went to town and bought one of those Rustoleum truck "bed-liner" kits.

Scott, nice job on the bottom. I gave up the leaky barges a long time ago. I can still troll, paddle, and wade around with this one, the best part I don't have to bail it out every 5 minutes.

Morning....  Yesterday's recovery from the events from the night before put me to bed by 7:00 pm. 🤐.  So I woke up at 3:00 this morning.  Dozed in the recliner and got outside a while ago.   Love the cool morning air.
