No way.... that camper would stay right on there if it were mine.

That is real tempting, it is in my name "currently". My dad just transferred it to me so he didn't have to keep paying insurance and registration back then. His desire was for my son to get it, so I will make sure that happens. That 1600 mile drive is not something I like doing, if rushed. I think I am going to make a leisurely trip with it and then fly back home.

In 1980 I lived in that camper for about three months in a RV park in Desert Hot Springs CA. (near Palm Springs).

I don't need my 1969 GMC, 2003 Dodge 3500 and the 1969 too.

I also own a Nomad camping trailer. It needs a new awning, or possibly shorten it (a foot?) to where there is no sun damage.

We sold the Class C a couple weeks ago but I wouldn't mind picking up a smaller bumper puller sometime down the road.

Good morning GTA! It’s Hump-Day, happy Wednesday! No landscaping yesterday, but it wasn’t that it wasn’t needed. Just not nearly as bad. I got bit up by the no-seeums, but got 3 of the 4 units running. The 4th one the blower assembly broke up because the bearings went. Head over heals? My boss likes to tell the younger/new guys not to mind me: I love this job, I’m just grumpy. I always tell them he’s lying, I hate this job- but I got to do what I got to do and I believe in doing the right thing, that’s why I get stuff done and it’s also why I’m grumpy.

This morning I have my 0600 meeting with the guys from Ch**ch and then I have to help a guy do a leak search & repair on a split system air conditioner. I’m going to let him have at it, he’s all eager anyways.

Mornin y’all!  Finally home from “vacation” and I’ve actually got three days left to have some fun. All my familial and spousal obligations are met.  Thinking about throwing the cast net some.  Might go over toward Appalachicola this evening and do some pier fishing off the old St. George Island bridge.  Definitely going to get some crab pots in the water.  Lots of gardening to catch up on and oh yeah! Airguns!

Good morning GTA. Well yesterday I got the belts purchased and installed, the fuel lines and filter purchased and some of the fuel lines installed. The new fuel pump will be here today and I plan to get the fuel system finished today. It has about 21' total of fuel hose because of the auxiliary tank and tank switch valve . The last time it ran was about two years ago and it died because it ran out of gas, (most of the gas had actually leaked out from a very bad hose right where it hooks up to the fuel pump).

 I will get a new battery for it too when I go to pick up the new fuel pump. I may purchase/order the new radiator hoses today, the ones on it don't seem to be in bad shape but I would rather replace them here rather than on the road. I may wait a few days on the radiator hoses and get it fired up though just to make sure the carburetor is good to go. I am sure setting dry was better than if it had ethanol gas in it but still may have a problem with the carburetor. 

After it's running good it will get new shoes last. I am anxious to have it road worthy and do some test drives.

Well it is 54°F I guess I will go lay on the cool asphalt for a bit. Maybe it will be numbing so I will have less pain.    Doubtful, but I am glad it's cool instead of hot.

Ole 'Copper' and 'Eddie' haven't seen any action in quite some time. It will be just like returning to the good old days.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Got to bed last night at 2115… got up at 0300 CT, like a crazy person. We’re swamped at work, like usual, but I’m still at least 1 technician short in my area. I’m tired already. But, I’m going to hit my first call early, the site opens at 0530. I’m just looking forward to Saturday, my grass is a foot tall, except the backyard. Oh well, time to start building up the airgun kitty… think I can get my next rifle off the bucket list in a few weeks maybe.

When I worked retail I think some of the workers did use the restroom for a vacation though considering how long they spent in there.

The yotes barked all night. Closer then normal. I normally rise at 530 but think I have been up since 4am eastern. Going to get a load of compost for the garden bins.
