Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday!!! Up at 0423 CT… another sign

…that was my Dad’s birthday, and yesterday I confirmed with 3 other guys that we are going to meet on 04/23 about starting a Men’s ministry similar to the Barn Meeting in our town. We intend to keep going on the second Saturday of every month to “the” Barn Meeting. Ours is going to be on the 4th Saturday every month. Hence April 23, this month for the 4 of us…

This morning it’s raining & thunderstorm’ing… no mowing this weekend. I have to take Chopper to the vet for his tests to see how he’s doing on his meds & to see if he’s on track or lost enough/too much weight. That’s at 0900 hrs. After that, I’ll back my van up to the garage and I have to get everything out of the garage that’s going in the van & vice-versa… that’ll be all day, because I want everything 100% for Monday and not have to do anything with it tomorrow. I also want to get the car in the garage by the time I’m done. So, whatever’s garbage in the end needs to go, and anything I’m keeping needs to be put up.

First order of bidness is to run the perimeter to access damage from the thunder boomers that came through over night. Glad I got the mowing done yesterday. way too wet to do anything outside today, and probably tomorrow as well.
That's actually a good thing. It gives me motivation to get the mancave squared away and do some airgun stuff. That's a much better experience since the installation of internet and streaming video. Now to find all those cool airgun, hunting and western channels

Mornin y’all. Our boats are all slipped for maintenance so I’m walking today! I’m leading a nature hike at 9:30 and giving a historical tour of the lodge at 2:00. Easy day! All week it’s been busting hump on grounds keeping. I’m ready for an easy one!

Good morning, I was up until 1:30AM and got up at 6:30AM when I woke up the last time.
I have a 65 inch TV that just quit on me and a bunch of computers I am going to get rid of today at an electronics recycle collection event. None of the grandkids show any interest in old dos games for some reason? LOL

Bye bye dos 6.22 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11
Bye bye windows 95, 98 Pro, ME, XP, and Vista.
I never had 7, and my 8 and 8.1 were upgraded to Windows 10

At one time I had computers setup starting with DOS 3 and Windows 2.0 through XP like my own museum lineup of working old computers.

Last purge I got rid of a large U-Haul truck load

, but kept the best 8. I am still keeping some old Laptops for now like my Cannon 386 and 486 that have built in ink jet printers. They will go another day.

I have a bunch of stuff loaded but have to load the computers before I head to the drop off spot in town later on. I am going to try to get it done as early as possible.

Well Dan, this is our 17th but we were both married for 30 years the first time so I guess we have 77 years of marriage between the two of us! Between us we have 19 grand kids and I just found out that I will be a great grand pa this year. Dang do I feel old!

Well when I got to town with my load of electronic recycles I found out it was a Clean up event- meaning they were taking all the big stuff and everything you can't normally put out to the curb too, so I came back home and took another load including furniture and old motorcycle tires. When we (the wife went along) pulled up with our 2nd load at noon they had cones across the driveway, but a worker standing there. My wife rolled down her window and said it was suppose to be until 2:00PM right? (The signs that were put up said 9AM-2PM) He let us by but they were closing early because all the containers were almost full. I sure am glad they let us dump that load.

Good morning GTA! Happy Easter - Resurrection Day!!! Up at 0429 CT. Wonder what that means? Maybe I should build a Super-Cobra Jet Shelby Coupe for when I retire someday… just kidding, I just find it humorous when I open my eyes and see the red digital numbers on the alarm clock. The one I hardly ever set. I used to sleep in occasionally, I really did… today we’ll go to Ch**ch and celebrate our Lord’s resurrection. I’ll probably not partake in my usual Sunday nap. I didn’t finish the work van, but I at least need to put a few things back on it that I took out while I was working on it yesterday. I also need to finish my taxes. Later on there’s a NASCAR race on dirt, that’ll be interesting to see. And that’s about it. Happy Easter everyone!

Happy Easter!
We had the family over yesterday for Ham dinner, only 3 of the Daughters and the Husbands and 5 of the Grand kids, with My Mom and Step-Dad so it wasn't "over powering".... Really was quite enjoyable.
Today we are free to do whatever we want, and Hoosier Momma wants me to go clean the Pavilion at the Golf Course.

After that I may take Zowey to the Campground and go for a walk.

Ch**ch at starting 6:30 AM today. Why so early? Christ was an early riser.

So we will commemorate that today.

We will take it easy at see what opportunities arise with family after Ch**ch this morning.
It's 53°F out right now and it's going to be a beautiful day with a high of 84°F with 1-6mph winds (just a nice breeze) most of the afternoon.

It is sunny and 25 F this morning.
There is a 18F windchill with a 7 mph NW breeze blowing.
It should warm up to the low 40's today.
After church I plan on taking it easy today.
If I do any shooting it will be with either the Hatsan Edge or Striker or...maybe both.
Those are the only rifles that I have not shot this spring.
