I was up until 1:45AM watching races on YouTube because I wasn't sleepy. I was wide awake again at 5:50 AM so, I got up and checked some Email and then worked on some of my dad's estate stuff. I have a load in my pickup to unload at my house now. But I am resting while my loving wife fixes our lunch first. We need to eat. We haven't had anything but Coffee today so far. Lunch is way overdue.

Just finished copyin 175 pages of medical records, one page at a time. Had to do it that way because some were single sided and some were double sided. What a PITA and the neck.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! But, boy am I tired already. I got home from work about 2100, ate dinner, showered and went to bed after 2200… up at 0500 CT. Today I start training the new guy. Dispatch messed up and gave us a job I haven’t received parts for yet. So, we’re going to meet at a supply house and get the office to give us something different to do. Probably a PM. Thanks for the Martin Luther quote, Brother Dan. I’m going to work on that some more…

Good morning GTA!!! Yesterday was quite eventful. I sold a scope on here and I drove to the post office to mail it (1-1/2 miles away). I get there and the lady says they still haven't come by to replace her Postal machine since a power surge took it out 3 weeks ago. So I drive to the next town to mail the scope.

On the way home my son calls and wanted me to meet the guy from the natural gas company at his house. Long story short.  Guy shows up, detects leak where dozer has run over the line, turns off the gas and locks the meter.  My son leaves work, helps me uncover 40 feet of the pipe and dig the ditch deeper, replacing 40 ft of the PVC pipe. We charge the line with 70 psi of compressed air, wait 30 minutes to check for leaks. We cover the line up and Call the gas company they send the guy back out to turn the gas back on.  Guy shows up at 20:30 to turn gas back on. I get home at 21:00. Not that day I had planned.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday- it’s HumpDay!!! Woke at 0345, got moving by 0400 CT. I have a meeting with our discipleship pastor at 0600 over coffee about men’s discipleship ministry, specifically for a monthly gathering like the Barn Meeting I attend and some other stuff. After that I’ll head to work. My goal today, while training the new guy, is to let him do the work and I’ll train him on how we do things. That’s how it’s supposed to be, but too often I just need to get the job done and the new guy might not be as technically proficient yet. This guy can handle the work I think. At the same time, I can move things around in the new van to make room for more stuff that’s still in the garage.

Good morning GTA! Good morning Thursday, I hope you're better than Wednesday!!! Up at 0430 CDT. Last night was scary, tornado warnings, severe thunderstorms, wind but thankfully we made it through unscathed.

Yesterday I had to go into the city to pick up a grocery order, and I dropped my wife off at the immediate care for a doctor to look at a bug/spider bite. When I picked her up she said the doctor said she had developed cellulitis from the bite and he prescribed an antibiotic and an ointment.  Wow! from a bug bite???

So much of my morning used up by that trip and the afternoon getting ready for the storm last night.

It is cold, strong winds, and snowing at my place this morning... too.
Lets just be glad that we are not in North Dakota or Manatoba this morning.
Have you seen what has been going on there the past few days ?
3-4 day Blizzard.  22 to 36 inches of snow in some places.  50 to 70 mph winds.  Seriously Huge snow drifts.
I saw where Winnipeg actually cancled a "Hocky Game" because of the conditions there. ( That just don't happen in Canada)

We had a little rough stretch last night.  So my Judy and I spent some time sheltering in the closet.  All is well this morning.

Our 10 day forecast looks real good to me. It's currently 48°F at 8:05 AM with a predicted high of 75°F today.
 I will be working on somethings outside before it gets too hot. I have some 4' LED bulbs to put up under my back carport area that I use for working on the motorcycles. The LED bulbs I bought ($34.99 for a 4 Pack) are compatible with existing T8, T10, and T12 fluorescent fixtures after rewiring them to direct wiring (removing the ballast). I have some fixtures that the ballast is bad in so these bulbs will resurrect them.

I already replaced the fluorescent tubes in my office and in the kitchen. My wife and I are very pleased at how well they light up the kitchen, they are much brighter than the fluorescents that were in there. At 24 watts each, less power and more light is a win win!

Longevity now is the only unknown that may change my opinion of these.

I've been reading about the storms that have been occuring in the southern states.
I'm glad that you and Judy are OK.
We had thunder storms blow through here last Tuesday and Tuesday night.
43F, high winds, lots of rain and lightning.
The temps droped to 37F by morning.
That storm created Tornadoes in Iowa and at least one in extreem sourthern MN.
The MN/Iowa border town of Taopi got hit.

We have another chance of snow Sunday, Sunday night and Monday.
That should not amount to much and should melt Monday afternoon.
This time of year, in 2018, a Blizzard came through my place and we got a lot of snow.
In 2018, I learned to not put my snow blowers away until May.

I would have a problem with that.  On April 8, we had a dusting and I almost went into shock!

One of my grandkids got about 5" of snow yesterday where they live in Idaho. She said not fair we were having mild summer weather last week.

Good Friday mornin'.
It's the first of a 3 day weekend for me. Woke up around 4 and put the coffee on. Dogs got up and wanted breakfast and then wanted out to check the perimeter. They came back in and now they are trying to get Betty Lou up. Boss tries to shove her rope toy in her face and Rambo stands next to the bed and stomps his feet.
Got home from work yesterday and I couldn't get my old bones to cooperate. The wet weather is taking it's toll.
I took an 800mg ibuprofen and managed to get the hole drilled in the floor to run the cat6 out of the house from the main router. I also gathered up what I will need to hang it on the 2 poles on it's way to the bar/mancave about 150' away.
The plan it to make a few 1' loops of cable and zip tie them. Then I will re purpose a couple airgun main springs to shroud them and attach them to the poles around 20' up. The goal is to avoid rub wear on the cable in high winds. I did buy the higher quality copper outdoor/underground cat6 cable so I should be good to go.
I've already tested the connections in the house and it seems good to go. Matter of fact, I'm running on it right now and getting all 5 bars from the back bedroom out to the living room.
This will give us wireless and streaming video in the mancave. I'm getting 56mbps down and 36mbps up through the 200' cable run.

Good morning, Bill! Good morning GTA!!! Happy Good Friday!!!!!
I got up at 0424 CT… that was a sign for me, because that’s my birthday.     I went to shut off the alarm and remembered… I don’t / didn’t use no alarm.        This morning after coffee, I’ll head to the chiropractor. I’ll be glad to see him. It’s been a stressful week and stress brings on the pain in my back & shoulders. I have 2 freezer/cooler calls at one location about an hour drive south. The new guy can fix the frozen one and I’ll fix the water leaking one. I have to knockoff as soon as I can, get cleaned up and have dinner. Then Good Friday Service at Ch**ch. My wife will be reading in front of the whole Ch**ch …
