  Naaa just a divorce (final March 1, 2022) and a trip across 3/4 of the good old USA to Mesa AZ. My new lady friend is more age-appropriate for this old fart. She has a Jeep Wrangler, loves shooting, fishing, camping, and all things outdoor-related.  All that's missing is the Bass boat

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday!!! Up at 0430 CT. My seat got professionally done for my van yesterday and the ride home was superb. This morning after coffee, I’ve got about an hour & a half ride to my first job for a cooler/freezer. It should be a nice ride despite the wind, it sure is windy out there.

I ordered a small Sunjoe 15amp electric wood chipper that's scheduled to arrive today,  when / if it arrives today I have a large of pile of tree trimmings to run through it.
I've already weaned out everything over 1.5" diameter,  so hopefully this thing can handle all the branches I have for it.

We had used the 6 sided 6' dog pen panels for the first 60' of fencing on the north side of the property.
The side separates us from the guys that bought the 3 acres that used to be the garden. They are becoming more active on that property and plan to put a double wide on it. Boss and Rambo pay particular attention to them because that was their stomping ground between Killer's (our new place) and our old place.
The fence was a bit odd looking and didn't match the hog wire we put up around the rest of the place.
So Betty Lou and I took it down and replaced it with the matching hog wire. We also closed a small hole in the back that Rambo found.
We are 100% enclosed now and the dogs have no escape routes. That makes Betty Lou really happy.
Happy wife, happy life. Those little hints she was throwing around were getting a bit old....

There are a few short runs of the old fence and we'll use what we have left of the new stuff to replace it until we run out.
Then we plan to go around and stake the bottom of the fence between the posts just for added security. I have an old aluminum pop up awning frame that we'll cut into the stakes.
I also have enough barbed wire to run a strand around the top if needed. It's already all along the front and back.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday, it’s Hump Day!!! This morning we have no men’s meeting, everybody’s got places to go. I’m going to get a haircut when I head out to work, I’m working locally. This afternoon I have to head to Little Rock for a “safety” meeting in the morning.

Thankfully we were spared the BAD weather Tuesday, we experienced high wind, heavy rain and lightning. We were under a tornado watch for most if not all of the time from noon till evening. I'll survey any limbs down later this morning. Prayers for the families who were not as fortunate.

Dan, that system came through here over night.
I was up every hour until 2am when the rain and wind started. I dozed in my recliner for the rest of the night. No signs of damage so far, just alot of rain making the drains slow...  We are on septic system.
It's passed us now and the forecast is for sunny skies through the weekend.
I return to work tomorrow after a 3 day bereavement for my sister passing. I'm sure I will be very busy fixing the issues from people doing my job without knowing how. My phone and text have been blowing up and I've tried to quarterback the best I could. There is just no telling what really happened without being there.
On the bright side....
Today is payday and I'll only have to work 2 days this week.
