Good morning GTA! Happy Monday, and back to the grind! Up at 0400 CT. Today I have a compressor to replace that I actually wrote up for mid-December. We have been experiencing difficulties getting parts here & there and this apparently was one of those. It’s for a big freezer and at least I have my own notes on it.

Good morning all, I got up at 4:00AM yesterday and stayed up 22 1/2 hours until 2:30AM when I finally got sleepy and went to bed. I am drinking coffee now, I stayed in bed until 8AM 

I got most of the yardwork done last week. Today I plan to do some house cleaning and reorganizing I have two tables full of inherited stuff in the family room to find a place for and stash away. We are suppose to be colder and get some rain the next couple of days and snow is predicted to get down to 2000 feet which is just 330 feet above my elevation so, being in the foothills who knows it might even snow, but won't stick for more than a couple of hours at the most here.

Well the phone company dig crew showed up to dig the trench for a new phone cable today. The old one failed about a month ago and was shorted underground. So we get a new line from the road to the house, 695 feet, thanks to ground squirrels or gophers? If it weren't the Church phone we probably would just drop the land line, but the phone company has to pay for the repair anyway... it lasted about 40 years.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Up at 0400 CT. I’m going to head out to work in just a little bit. I have an air curtain to repair in a drive through window and it’s hard to do during rush hour. I’m going to try to knock that out because I’m not sure what’s in store after that. I have a heat exchanger for a rooftop gas unit I’d like to possibly get done today. Looks like we’ve got more winter weather for Wednesday & Thursday.

working, per usual, but in between work, I'm tinkering with my new-to-me F-150.  It's a '94 EFI, 5-speed manual, short-bed single cab XLT with a glorious inline 6 300.  Very rough looking, but the chassis is good, the body is good, and the engine is an inline 6 300.

Did they run it through conduit? If not the critters will just chew through it again and hopefully no time soon.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CT. It was 60* when I got up yesterday… it’s 19* right now. I’ve got my 0600 meeting with the guys. Then I’m supposed to inspect a site that’s been closed for a good while. We’re also supposed to get some freezing rain, sleet and snow. Not sure how much, tomorrow’s supposed to be the same.

I just got back from a walk. Beautiful sunny sky with light wind. It's supposed to be in the low 70's today. Probably plan to put in a garden. Let's call it the Inflation Garden. Target some squirrels to reduce the population.

Wow John! That is a huge difference. It was 68° here at 4 am when I got up.
