Well, I finally got the Church sign put back together after the wind destruction and I will put it back up another day. It just started raining and it is 55°F and 15-17 MPH winds currently I still have to get cement and post brackets and get the holes dug too. I am Pastor/gardener/handyman, I do most repairs but do accept help when others are available.

After the fact, My wife and I planned to do something for Valentines Day but just a day late. We went out to eat and then went to see a Movie. It was a good day date. 
I had Fish Tacos, She had grilled Chicken Quesadilla.

The Movie we saw was "Death On The Nile"

Good morning GTA! It’s Hump-Day! Up at 0400 CT. Ran crane operations until 1700 yesterday, and all the stuff that goes with setting the new units on the roof until about 1830. Today we hope to tie everything back in: wiring, controls, gas & drain lines and install outdoor air kits. After today, I lose my crew. I’m finishing up my coffee and I’ll head down the road in just a bit.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Up at 0500 CT. We finished that big job yesterday with exception of a couple minor details. Everything’s running, but the parts I need to call it done won’t be in until next week. Today I have a cooler to go look at, sounds like it’s not running too good at 50*. I’m having coffee and I’ll head down the road.

Continuing with the audit and b/o of the DN8A model. That model ended production last week so I need to pull all the parts back from the lines and inventory them so the lines can be dismantled to make room for the next model production to be set up in that area.
It's insane to have a major model change over and an audit at the same time.

I worked late yesterday so I’m going in late today. They don’t pay overtime for this job so we have to make sure we don’t go over.  I’m going to slob around the house this a.m with the memsahib then I’ll be the late shift at work.  No telling what sort of maintenance I’ll have to do.  The park I work at is nearly 90 years old and the buildings require constant work so at least it’s job security!

had a brief phone call with the owner of a truck I'm gonna go check out this weekend.  Even more thrilled now!

Otherwise, workday.  I spent some time before work turning my broken wheelbarrow (entire metal "barrow" part has failed and it is becoming a kindling-bin) into a 2-handled log-skid for the next trip to our property.  We're bringing chainsaws, both timberjacks, at least one bucksaw, and a pickaroon our next trip, too.  Skidding logs up 30-degree hill is far easier when the front is lifted and rolling

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Up at 0400 CT. I guess there’s not much going on today: I have an air filter change to do, won’t take long and it’s local. I guess I’ll pickup some filters for my house while I’m at it. The temperature dropped significantly, it’s almost 20* this morning. I’m going to have one more cup of coffee and I’m going to stop for a haircut on the way out of town.

Up early to feed zoo and hit the road to squirrel hunt and shoot a few air guns at my cousin's place. Hopefully I won't smack a deer in the process, they are along the roads early in the morning around here. I need meat but not the damage that comes with it.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I got up at 0430 CT, it’s supposed to get over 50* today. I plan to shoot some airguns, for sure. I have a few other odds & ends I’d like to tend to. I need to get deer corn & bird seed, I’m out. And I need to straighten up my van a little between today & tomorrow. Monday I go on call for the week.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! Up at 0440 CT. Ch**ch this morning and after that is the Daytona 500. I haven’t watched much NASCAR the past several years. But, I’m intrigued to see how the new transaxle cars fare on the big track. So, my wife is going to put out a spread of snack food and we’re going to relax & watch the race. I’d like to give the RWS 3400 another go, but it’s going to be quite windy later. Still, I might shoot it a little bit between Ch**ch & the race.

Today is Martha's 80th birthday.  We may go out to eat, shoot a few pellets, watch women's softball and/or read books.  No decisions as yet?

Good morning. I haven't posted much on here since deer season. So I thought I would give an update on what's been happening in my life.  (A) In January six members of our immediate family had Covid so we've been dealing with that while trying to avoid getting
Covid. (B) The line that goes into my septic tank collapsed and that had to be repaired. and (C) the weather has been either too cold, too wet, or too windy to enjoy shooting airguns. To pass the time I've been reloading waiting for conditions to improve on my patio.

When deer season ended my son asked if I could reload some .30-06 for him as well as some .40S&W for a new pistol.  I didn't have either of the dies necessary to load those. So I ordered both sets of dies and bullets, I had the primers and powder already. I gathered some .30-06 brass from a fellow reloading buddy so I ended up with about a hundred brass shells for the .30-06. Although I don't own a .40 cal pistol I did have on hand about 400 brass shells a.40 cal. (With permission, I pick up brass off the ground before leaving when visit a the shooting range). My neighbor,  the one who is a deputy sheriff, gave my son another 300 pieces of 40 cal brass so that with what I have I shouldn't have to worry about that. I reload .38 special, .357 mag., 243, 223/5.56mm, .308, & 9mm for myself. Because of the ammo shortage the last several years in addition to the pandemic reloading components so hard to find and expensive when you do find them I had resorted to shooting mainly airguns. Even pellets where hard to find but I managed to gradually stock up on those.  Hopefully in the very near future I'll be able to split my leasure time between reloading and airgunning.
