That's great to hear Don, I am glad you are doing well and finding friendly folks.

I gave up and went to bed early and was asleep by about 9:30PM so 3:30AM I was wide awake. I stayed in bed and tried to get back to sleep but gave up at 4:00, got up, and made my coffee.
I am not sick today, so I will take a look at my to do list later on. It's 36 degrees and will get to 70-72 today.

Mornin y'all up early had a cupa joe then walked Dudley. Getting ready to shower then drop the old license plate to the guy that sold me the Electra Glide. He got the title from his lawyer in Montana. (it's complicated) Yesterday I went down to the DMV and registered the bike in my name and transferred the title. Then back home to mount the temporary tag. This afternoon I'm meeting an attractive younger (63) lady for a ride and some dinner.

Good morning GTA! It’s 1030 hrs, so still morning here. I was up at 0511… forgot it was Wednesday, had to hurry up to make my 0600 meeting. After my meeting I shipped off parts back to where they came from for the job we did yesterday. Didn’t need them because everything was misdiagnosed by the kid that helped me yesterday. He got helped by another fool that gave bad advise. I got it straightened out & hopefully the kid learned something. Today I have 2 more jobs I didn’t write up for. I’m throwing the parts in that I got & walking away because they’re not the same kind of job. If they don’t work later on, we’ll just have to go back.

Mornin y’all.  Up at 0500 this a.m. and out to the woods for a couple of hours.  At 0900 I had to go in to work for the yearly fire fighter’s PAC test.  Walk 3 miles in under 45 minutes while wearing a 45 pound pack. My time was 42:57.  So I can fight fire for another year! Plus I beat both of my bosses who are younger than me.

Cap, that is a fine time.  I would have trouble averaging 4 miles per hour like you were doing.  I walk a lot when squirrel hunting - but it is slow-walking.

LOL!  I’m sitting at home right now regretting pushing that hard.  My knees hurt, my calves ache and my legs shake if I stand up too long!  Only have to do it once a year though.

She's closer to my age, 11 years younger and a definite looker friend only. If it works out riding buddy for weekend sightseeing. Definitely no LTR in my immediate future.

I’m going to rollout to work early. I have 3 fan motors to replace in a pastry case someone else wrote up for, of course. Then I have to run to Ft. Smith to replace a compressor in a cooler. They would have replaced the cooler, but there aren’t any to be had at the moment. Fortunately, I wrote this one up. Shouldn’t be a big deal.

Morning all, little cold out this morning-wind chills between -10 and -20 until 11:00 AM 
Glad I got the rest of the shoveling done yesterday...
Current plans are to split some wood, do a bit more prep work on some improvised seed starter pots for this spring; and some other stuff...
If I can brave it; shoot some-haven't been out for almost two weeks

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Up at 0415 CT. I’m taking a paid PTO day today. I have to take Chopper, my big dog, to the vet at 0900. He’s got a big something going on with his right hind leg, fluid or a mass or swelling. He’s shedding like crazy too. Hopefully, it’s nothing. But I’ll have to get Ayrabella on the bus and drop my wife off at work first. Then the chiropractor and then come back for Chopper. After all that, I hope to shoot a little.

I have to be real careful not to trip over my Great Dane in the dark, as he moves around the room a lot and creates quite a tripping hazard.

That's one thing I hated about my 200lb mastiff is he'd park himself right in the walkway or hallway and would not move out of the way despite seeing me coming where I'd have to tell him to get up then tell him to lay down out of the way only for him to get up later then lay down right back in my way again. No more huge inside dogs for me.

They don't get on the bed anymore but they lay right next to it on the floor. It's an obstacle course to get up for a pee in the night. I tried to step over Rambo last night and he decided to lift his head just as I was half ways over him. I took the nightstand and the lamp out on my way down.
Betty Lou wasn't happy.

There’s a common experience!  It’s a moving obstacle course every night.  I’ve developed a bent-kneed shuffling walk where I just slide my feet along for nocturnal bathroom trips.
