Mornin y’all.  Well, winter arrived last night.  It’s right cold out there!  I went hunting this a.m. inadequately clothed. Fortunately I had enough stuff in the truck to layer up.  Still got chilled.  I was actually glad when the dog hunters started up.  Gave me an excuse to slink back to the nice warm truck.  The memsahib has a Dr’s appointment but after that I’m headed back out to the woods.  Wearing a parka!

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. Yesterday was a little goofy, new year and office people doing meetings and just weird stuff. But I got a full day of work in. Today I’m doing preventative maintenance on a site with 3 rooftop units at the mall we’ve done a little work on over the years. A weird contract, I guess. I’ve only been there once, in 2017. No telling what it might look like or what I’ll find.

Back in the mud, slime queen !!
This will be my first full day of work for the year 2022. It will also be my first full day officially married to Betty Lou.
All in all, it don't feel any different. Just another day in the journey.
Got the call at around 4:30 yesterday the Nissan was ready to pick up from the mechanic so we brought that home. I ordered and received the new positive battery terminal for it so I need to put that on to replace the cracked one... no biggie. I'll probably do that on my lunch break today after the chill is off the morning. It's about 30* out there right now but headed for 60* and sunny today.

Hope the Titan is running well again Bill. I'm in need of a new water heater as my 5yr old one leaked a mess in the house so 25 towels later and 3 fans blasting the place dry I'm looking for a tankless water heater or a stainless tank if there's not enough room to install a tankless heater as a stainless will usually carry a 10yr warranty. In the meantime I'm washing and drying towels. On the bright side I found a couple boxes of shotgun shells I needed at a gun shop for a good price.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. It’s Hump-Day and I don’t have a first for work today. So, I’m having coffee and doing some reading. I’ll have to call the office at 0730-0800. Sorry to hear about the mess, Gil. If I had gas service, I’d go with the tankless water heater. We are all electric, so when mine went I just replaced it with the same model heater that was here. Fortunately, it was during the summer over the weekend and in the garage. I dried out pretty quick & was up & running the same day.

Snow and 35mph winds this morning, big drifts in front of the garage doors and lots of hand shoveling. It's going to be cold tomorrow morning, -25F again Thursday morning. 

Lakes have 24" of ice, trails are open, snowshoes are ready for the weekend. Love winter time! ❤

Mornin ya'll.  Temps in the high fifties today.  I spent an hour at my favorite squirrel hunting spot before work.  Shot AT three squirrels.  Missed all three.  Now I'm sitting in the penalty box (read "ranger station") at work.  I'll get out of here around five so I hope to go straight back to the woods when I do.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Up at 0315 CT. I’m going to get on the road early this morning, about 0500. I have a 2.5-3 hour ride to replace an ice bin for an ice machine. It’s freezing outside, I’ll enjoy the ride and working inside mostly.

Good morning GTA! It’s Saturday and I got up at 0515 CT. I’m having coffee and contemplating shooting some airguns today. I definitely want to zero the scope on the RWS 3400. It’s above freezing but it supposed to be windy all day. This evening is our monthly Barn Meeting.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CT. It’s sprinkling rain and about 50*. Temperatures are supposed to drop all day & tonight. We’ve got Ch**ch at 1000 hrs and small group this evening. Yesterday I got to sight in the scope on my RWS 3400, despite the wind. I’d like to shoot a few more pellets through it in the middle of the day, if it’s not too windy before it gets real cold.

-17 F, clear skies, light breeze, heading off to Ch**ch then lunch with my sis. I have some leadership items to take care of this afternoon when I get home then a late target to satisfy Scotts informal 10y contest.

Our power was out from 8:21AM until 9:01AM and then went off at 12ish but only for about 10 minutes. There was an associated road closure too so those coming from town had a dirt road detour to get here this morning.

The weather is great.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday, back to the grind! Up at 0500 CT. Having coffee and about to get going. I’ve got to remember to run the trash out before I get on the highway, I usually do it Sunday night. Today I have a site survey for a customer with a potential new location in the mall. Hopefully, it won’t be too hard to find my way around on the roof to match what’s downstairs. Sometimes it’s confusing.
