Good morning GTA! It’s New Year’s Eve, I can’t believe it… it’s almost 2020-too! Up at 0545 CT. It’s supposed to get to 66* and I haven’t shot airguns a whole lot, so I’d really like to today. I’m not going to waste much more time this morning. I’m going to take the scope off the FWB Sport and mount it on the RWS 3400 and zero it. I may shoot the Sport a little bit with the superb open sights, but… I aim to put a spare 1” tube 3-9x40 front AO scope on it with the FWB/Sportsmatch rings and check for fit/feel & zero it. My next airgun related purchase just might be a really nice 1” tube scope for the Sport.

Temperatures will start dropping this evening and end up somewhere around 25 Below Zero by 7 tomorrow morning. That is pretty typical of Minnesota in January.

Got up and grabbed a shower early... let's just say well before the dogs.
Them and Betty Lou rolled out a couple hours later.
We had coffee and took the Titan back to the mechanic and stopped at Jack's (It's all about the South) for breakfast.
Then a stop at the local grocer for a few items Betty Lou forgot to pick up.
Back home we cleaned up some more around the outside while the dogs dug holes to lay in the soft sand.
I found an old wooden wishing well and a part from a tree stand and decided to incorporate them into my 35yd.

Drove boats for the fifth day in a row and I’ll be driving them again tomorrow.  I ain’t complaining. . 
“ There is nothing half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats”.
After work tomorrow I’m going to stop on the way home and hunt a WMA that has just opened small game season.  The weather is so unseasonably warm here that I am considering carrying my co2 powered XS60C.

Good morning GTA! Happy New Year! Got up around 0545 CT. Yesterday morning didn’t work out for me to get much done with the FWB Sport & RWS 3400 optics. When my wife got up, a honey-do list landed on me. I did get the scope mounted to the Sport later on, though no shooting. It’s raining today and will probably continue most of the day. This morning I’ll mount the UTG scope to the RWS 3400 and go from there. If I can keep the paper targets dry, I just might get them both zero’d.

The first sure kicked off well for us, momma is down with a bad cold (no rona) and temps plummeted to -25 last night. Just came in from filling the wood boiler. Uff-Dah!

Mornin'
It's muggy and warm here this morning with the sun peeking in and out. But, there is the feel of rain coming in the air.
Betty Lou is in the house working on a traditional New Years food festival. She truly loves her new kitchen. Apparently so does Rambo. He's laying under foot hoping for droppings.
Boss and I escaped to the mancave... looks like someone had a party in here last night.... oh yeah, I did... 
Cds, beer cans, shot glasses and full ashtrays every where. I got the crime scene cleaned up and then set out to move some things around and organize the gun working area in a nook in the corner.
I had to move an antique wooden organ over about 3 feet to put a stack of shelving in opposite the work table
Yeah, that was quite heavy. But, I got it done. Next was to unpack some totes left over from the move and organize that stuff onto the shelves. It's getting there. Starting to look like the bar/mancave that it's suppose to be instead of a U Stor It.

Good Morning all today I will step back take a deep breath and assess what important stuff needs to be moved in the trailer. Downsizing from a four-bedroom home to a 30 ft travel trailer takes some serious decisions about what is needed and how much can be fitted into the trailer with minimal storage available. I have already determined that I will need to get myself a 10 X 12 storage shed to use as a laundry room and place for a small chest freezer. that will also allow me a place for seasonal clothing storage and somewhere to hang my riding gear.
First order of business will be a new bike make and the model is still undecided. If I can find a nice used Harley that is my first choice

Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CT. It’s 17* outside and snowing. It’s probably not going to snow much, maybe an inch here so far… but it’s been rather warm this winter and yesterday it pretty much rained all day. Really not sure what I want to do today, but it probably won’t include going anywhere outside.

That's my plan as well, stay inside and stay warm! We tanked at -32°F this morning...

70* and slowly dropping. Rains came fast and hard, 2 healthy showers. Now just overcast Maybe a pop up or 2 still to come.

.... and as I was typing another shower comes through.
It's all good.. I'm nice and dry shooting out the side door of the mancave. Chicom resettable flippers are the targets of choice... I ain't going out there to hang targets..... lol

Now the only issue is trying to stay awake with the rain hitting the tin roof.

Afternoon y’all!  Went out and sat in the woods this morning until the truck hunters got moving.  It was overcast but windy.  There was too much motion in the tree branches for me to be able to spot squirrels.  I heard a couple arguing but I couldn’t stalk close enough to see them before they shut up.  Played with my new chronograph when I got home.  That was fun!  Gardening and some touch up painting on the outside of the house this afternoon but you know there will be an air rifle handy!

Man.... a good soaker came through. Yard turned into a lake and I had my slippers on. A chill came on with the rain and a breeze blowing through the mancave with the doors open so I had to take the longer dry path to the house to get a hoodie and gum boots. Boss is out there playing in the puddles like a kid. Thought about joining her with the 4 wheeler but Betty Lou would have my butt for rutting up the yard.
