Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! Up at 0400 CT. I’m not sure what’s in store for today, but I’m available to work. So I’ll get ready and call into the office at 0800. I have a compressor that needs to go somewhere, but I don’t feel like doing that today, in case there’s any calls from the weekend/holidays that need to be run. I usually take vacation this time of year, there’s usually not a whole lot going on until after New Year’s. I’m planning on taking a few days off in January, I’ll have to look at the calendar today and see where I’d like to use it.

Got up this morning when I heard the trash truck. That's normally my clue that a new work week is beginning. I rolled out of bed and began my normal routine... I'll spare the details.
I was about to turn on the shower and it hit me.... ya big dummy, you have another full week off before you go back to work...
Plans? Nothing major.... taking Rambo to the vet for a checkup, taking both dogs to have their nails cut, going to the grocery store and.... oh yeah, going to the courthouse to get married. Well, at least start the process...
Here in Alabama you go to the courthouse and pay $70 for a certificate. You both fill it out and have it notorized. Then back to the courthouse for the probate judge to approve and stamp it.... now you go live happily ever after. It you want to have a traditional wedding, it's up to you.
Pretty sure divorce is a bit more complicated... and costly....

Best wishes to you & Betty Lou, Bill!
Well, no work today… and I wasn’t pushing for any, either.
It’s sunny and not much wind, warm at 60* already. I went into town and washed the van. I’m going to take my dogs to get their nails done, seems like a good idea… and not sure what after that. I do believe Ayrabella is going to want to play outside… I’m thinking about swapping a scope off the FWB Sport to the RWS 3400, if I have the time to do it right. I have a 3-9x40 I’d like to try in the Sportsmatch rings on the Sport.

So far so good....
We went to the local diner and had breakfast amungst the town and county muckity mucks.... a bunch of good old boys.
Then to Autozone to get the abs brake code cleared in the truck after a wheel hub and brake replacement... failed.. it needs the sensor cable put back on correctly....
Then to the courthouse only to find out we had to fill the marriage cert out online, then print it and have it notorized then back to the courthouse to pay $70 to have it filed on record.... then we are married. So far, it's filled out and downloaded to be printed.
Next up was the vet. Rambo has an appointment for 3:00 today and Boss's is tomorrow at 2:30. They will not be happy campers.
After that it was the grocery store for New Years meal stuff..... pork riibs, chops and kraut.

Well, so much for what I thought I was going to do. After I got the dogs nails done, I got a call that there was another unit changeout scheduled for tomorrow and a guy was bringing it to me. While that was happening I got a service call. Got the unit loaded onto my trailer and now I’m at work. At least the dogs are done & Ayrabella got to play outside before I left.

Just got got back from the vet with Rambo. No heart worm and the spots Betty Lou was worried about are skin tags.
He got his nails cut. The bad thing is.... he's 102.3 lbs.
He has to lose about 20 lbs.
Boss is tomorrow at 2:30. I had to get knock out pills for her so they could touch her feet. She ain't having none of that. Do anything you want to her... don't touch the feet or tail.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Up at 0400 CT. Going to changeout a condensor for another walk-in cooler. This one is on the ground behind the store, but we might get some thunderstorms between 0700-1000 hrs. I’m going to head out about 0530, my help should be there about 0700. We’re going to have to manhandle these off and on the trailer. I sure am hoping we don’t have to get wet.

Mornin ya'll. Just got off my first boat tour. We are running ten boats today and I've got four of them. Its cold so the gators were shy this morning. Not too many manatee around either. Plenty of birds though and I found enough other stuff to keep the customers happy. Looks like its going to be overcast for the rest of the day. So I've got my work cut out for me finding critters for the visitors.

And… my help called out. Not changing that unit until tomorrow, at least. I’m just going to say, from now on: I’ve got plans, but they’re probably going to change.

I've been up for hours and it's another rainy day. I will try to see if I can find anything to throw out with tomorrows trash, shred papers, and clean an organize stuff again. After seeing Bill's post with knifes I gathered most of my knifes (46 including hunting, pocket, and produce work knifes), and 11 multi-tools and sheathes got them all into one drawer. It's not a huge drawer but it is full.
Isn't it funny how we tend to hang onto more than we need with certain things.
I also have a drawer full of flashlights now, all have new or fully charged batteries as of yesterday. There are two 3 D cell flashlights by the front door and others strategically placed around the house everywhere we might need one, battery powered lanterns have good batteries. We also have 12 oil lamps and plenty of lamp oil and kerosene so we won't be left in the dark.

Took Boss to the vet.. no heart worm... she's also over weight at 90lbs.. Both need to lose 25 lbs. or more.
Then we took her into the nursing home to see Killer. Boy was he happy. We didn't tell hem we were bringing her.
It was kinda sad because she was still groggy from the pills they gave her so they could cut her nails without getting bit.
While we were there I got a text that the Titan was ready to pick up. 2 bad sensors... cam shaft sensor and cam shaft sensor.
She runs and sounds great. Bill was $180... I gave him an even $200. Ken does good work.

Good morning GTA! It’s Hump Day! Up at 0400 CT. The
plan
is to change out that walk-in cooler condensor. It should happen, as there are 2 guys coming from Tulsa to help me. Actually, the main guy that’s coming is the guy that wrote this job up and he’s training a new guy, but the more- the merrier. I worked on the walk-in freezer yesterday afternoon, so I got to lay eyes on the cooler while there. It should go well, but another chance for rain and it did rain a bit yesterday. I’ve got my 0600 Wednesday morning meeting and then head out. I should still get to the job about an hour before the help shows up to get myself setup.

I was up until 12:30 and then just as I was headed to bed my grandson got a call from one of his uncles that had just hit a wild donkey with his car
I talked to him a bit about reporting the accident and car repair process. His car is still drivable!
His airbag didn't go off,
his hood looks as if the donkey dropped from above onto it. I told him there could still be, and likely is damage to the front under the plastic bumper.
I was awake at 4:00 but managed to dose a little more, toss a little more, and then got up at 6:00.
Another rainy day, plans, I'll try to get the sorting/cleaning stuff done that I had planned for yesterday before my plans were interrupted by my sister by plans I had forgotten about.
and then we have Ch**ch tonight too.

Good morning GTA! From what I’ve heard, we’re off tomorrow, so- it’s kinda like Friday! Up at 0430 CT, and I’m headed to work. We finished that walk-in cooler yesterday, but I want to check on it on the way in to another job for a cooler that’s leaking water. After these 2 jobs, I don’t think there’s anything else going on… but that could change.

Working today...
I'll be doing some creative electrical work later. I have to modify an old-work single-gang "bottomless" box with the back of a regular single-gang box so the whole thing is only 1 7/8" deep. There's a grounded (and unused) steel pipe in the wall under our kitchen window that does literally nothing (seriously, not connected at either end but removing requires tearing out the entire wall) other than prevent inserting a single-gang old-work box. The "Supply-line" issues have hit the electrical Departments at all the hardware stores in the region, and nobody has single-gang old-work shallow boxes, and I'm not paying the crazy money for 1 box on amazon (eBay was even worse!).
I have more projects than I know what to do with right now, but that's nothing new.

I didn't plan to but I mowed the yard. That really is the last mowing for this year.

Well, the Titan gets another trip to the mechanic tomorrow.
This time it will be a new starter. 50% of the time when you hit the key you just get a 'click'.
Titans are known for this issue and I figure to get it done since we have the money.
It will progressively get worse until it just don't start at all.
It took more than 10 minutes to get it to engage one time yesterday.
I talked to Ken, my mechanic and he's replaced them before and knows what the job entails.
For those of you who don't know, the starter on a Nissan Titan is in the valley of the motor under the intake manifold...
Ken told me he would do the job for $200 labor and the cost of the starter. He can get one overnight for $100.
I might tackle this job myself back in the day but in my later years jobs like this tend to make me cuss... alot.
Best left to the pro.
