Re-zero the scout scope on my TS45. I just modified a QB57 cocking lever to fit the 45. I ordered a 57 lever from the guy on the other channel. Got it back on yesterday.

PM bud from California asked if a 57 lever would work on a 45. I said I didn't know but I would in a couple of days.

Also shoot my new Synergis.

Good morning GTA! Up a few minutes before 0400 CT. Having coffee and trying to plan some shooting into this day. I got to shoot a little bit yesterday, but didn’t go as planned. The barrel cleaning on the RWS 3400 took longer than I expected, but it came out nice, got it sighted in for 30 meters & so on… Yesterday was good day, I got derailed here & there -Ayrabella didn’t shoot with me, she was just being goofy & having fun, so I let her do her thing and ultimately wound up taking my wife out on a dinner date, just the 2 of us, when she got home from work. Today we have Church this morning & probably small group this evening. If I sideline my usual nap or keep it short I’d like to shoot some groups on paper with the RWS 3400 before we go to group. Ayrabella got a kick out of photo bombing my day with the new rifle:

Took the critters for a walk this a.m.  Saw some squirrels. Did not get a shot at any.  I’ll take a walk later without the dogs and try to stalk some.

Thanks, Scott! She’s usually with me when I shoot, even if she doesn’t shoot, so that’s a plus. In order to keep her interested, I have to always change it up. But she is a heck of a shooter.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0315… fell back asleep and got up at 0415 CT. I’m on vacation, so as soon as Ayrabella gets on the bus and my wife rolls out to work I’m mowing the grass and leaves one more time. The grass has grown a bit since it hasn’t been too cold yet and I already blew the leaves into the wood line in the immediate front. It should go pretty good. I suppose I’ll clean out the gutters first. Maybe, probably, later I’ll shoot the RWS 3400 some more.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0245 CST. We're up in Memphis for a week. I did some electrical work in the house and outside. Replaced inside timer and also installed a motion sensor  security light at the corner of the house.
Also changed out a entry door knob off the garage.  My son-in-law has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering but is not very handy when it comes to home repairs.

I love it, Brother Dan! It makes me grin to hear the work you do when visiting your kids. We’ve always been that way in our family, I just haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m willing & able.

The mowing took it to a new level. It feels like it’s clearing up with my coffee. Thank goodness for coffee. I’ve got to get Ayrabella on the bus at 0700. Then my wife is having surgery at 1100 hours. I am hoping the healing goes well the next few days. I’m going to tink around the house and garage, nothing too crazy, and wait on her needs. I’m thinking about doing some scope swapping with the Sport, Terrus and the 3400.

Today's plan includes work, then doctor appointment for my 6 month and reup on the BP meds. After that we have to stop by the nursing home and pick up that 'lift' we took to Killer. It don't let his bed raise up and down like it was designed to and he asked us to bring it back home.
Rumor has it that they are expecting to shut down the plant for the entire week of Thanksgiving due to the broken supply chain. Thank all that's good for salary...

I’m the late field ranger today.  That means I run errands for everyone until 5:00 and then I clean bathrooms.  Being a park ranger ain’t all fun and games but it still beats working for a living!

↑ Amen. Man first your daughter was in the hospital and now your wife. She's got a husband and girl to help take care of her so she'll do well. It's the people with no one to help them during recovery that have it rough. Keep us updated John.

Thank you all for your prayers. It’s been a very long day, but everything went well according to the doctor. She’s in a lot of pain, I hope she can heal and get over the pain quickly. I hate seeing her in pain, I feel useless there. There’s only so much you can do.

I have to say Gil, since you brought up Ayrabella’s time in the hospital, she’s been doing great ever since. She’s eating good and she’s growing just fine. I can’t say enough for what Arkansas Children’s Hospital did for my Baby Girl. Next month she’ll be 9, the day after Christmas.

Wellness Center @ 0530, +- 10 miles on the Expresso Bike. Home, shower, then off to see if I can catch a catfish. I've been catchin' stocked trout for about 2 weeks now, thought I'd try something different before it turns to hard H20.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0415 CT. This morning I’ll let my wife sleep in as long as she can, otherwise, I’m just going to keep her comfortable and be on call for whatever she needs. I’ll get Ayrabella on the bus and later I’ve got a few things I have to do to help Mahayla with for college. In between I’m planning on moving the scope from the FWB Sport to the Terrus. With the 1” tube x40mm scope from the Terrus I’m going to test the fit in the Sportsmatch rings on the Sport for scope height. I need to determine if I’ll need a 40mm or if I can get a 44mm scope for the Sport when I’m ready. Then I’m going to plant that scope on the RWS 3400. I’ll be shooting the FWB Sport with open sights again until this all works out with obtaining another scope. Of course, I’m going to shoot all 3 before & after to see how I do. It shouldn’t take a whole lot of work, the open sights on the Sport should be good where I left them. I’ll have to zero the Terrus and the 3400.

Up at 4:11 PST, we are 46 degrees and just had civil twilight at 5:49, sunrise is at 6:14:26 AM. It is suppose to get to a perfect 82 today, I will be spending some time outdoors . We have CH**CH at 5:00 PM tonight 11 minutes after sundown. 
 I don't like it getting dark that early or the shortened daylight hours but at least its light an hour earlier than it would be otherwise.

Good morning GTA! Happy Veteran’s Day to my Brothers in Arms! Up at 0500 CT. We got some pretty good thunderstorms last night and a cold front. It should warm up a little bit and dry out some today. Yesterday, my wife totally derailed my plans of swapping some scopes around. After breakfast she said she wanted to shoot with me. She’s still recovering from surgery and was even still in her pajamas. I had to load for her, but she even nailed the 30 yard spoon twice in a row. She had a smile on her face and that was just the best. She started out with Ayrabella’s NXG, then her M4.177, flipping the auto reset paddles at 17.5 meters…. But she wanted to shoot the 30 meter steel targets. She shot my RWS 3400 very well with open sights. But when she shot the scoped Terrus, she called it a “cheater gun”, because she hit everything she pointed it at. Then I gave her the LGU and that blew her mind for a “cheater gun”! The trigger on the FWB Sport was just too light for her and the Parrus was a bit too much gun. She had the most fun with the M4.177, the Terrus and the 3400. With all that said, today I have to take Mahayla to visit the bank to open her a new account and make a stop at Wally World for a few groceries… and my wife wants to shoot with me again today! I’d say her recovery is going as good as I could’ve ever imagined.
