Mornin y'all...Up at 4:30 and made coffee. Betty Lou and the dogs are still snoozin. Just sitting here trying to make a plan on what I want to do first during this extended weekend. I think I'll get the compressors up and running and top off some guns. Then I'll go get the 100yd. range measured off and set up.Might even get started on that wooden kids play set. Plan is to convert it to my sniper's perch. Of course all this depends on Betty Lou's plan...
Sad to hear the news, Scott… I’ll be praying as well.David, sure hope you do get to feeling better. I’ll be praying for you as well.
I stayed in bed later than normal for me and got up at 6:30 after being awake and laying there too long, LOL.About 6:30 I saw a Cat of some sort on my security camera, I went outside to get a better look at the Cat when it took down a Rabbit. It got spooked when it saw me and the Rabbit ran/hobbled off very injured. It didn't look like a domestic cat or exactly like any Bobcat I have seen, it looked like a mixed breed that I would guess was about 30lbs., mostly the looks of a Bobcat, tuft ears, but with a long tail 10"-12". I snuck up and got about 20 feet from it, I had stopped moving a few seconds before it saw or sensed me. I was able to get so close because it was preoccupied and I was quiet. I should have stayed back a bit but, curiosity (mine) made the cat loose his breakfast.

Might be some in SoCal these days.

The 10"-12" tail was odd in proportion to body size and the ears were tuft like a Bobcat. It was odd looking.
