Yes, the freeloading has been a bone of contention for about 9+ years once the older stepson finished college with his associate's degree and began working. both my stepsons have no issue with living on my dime so yes a bit of satisfaction

Good morning GTA! It’s Hump Day! Up at 0415 CT. Having coffee with the dogs, getting caught up on the GTA. I’ve got my 0600 hrs meeting with the guys from Church. Then I have a walk-in freezer I have to get data on, supposedly not exactly a service call. Not sure why or what after that. I’ll probably be talking to my immediate boss about a unit that got installed yesterday with incorrect voltage, looking for a solution. I’m watching the shipping progress on a RWS 3400 .177, should be here tomorrow.

Good morning GTA! It’s the day before Friday! Up at 0430 CT. This morning I have to run 3 1/2 hours to my first job to repair a walk-in cooler reach-in door. This will be a new version for me, I’ve only adjusted one like this once before. This one I’ll have to take off, replaced the guts of the spring and adjust. They can be pretty heavy and lining them back up can be a struggle by myself. Hopefully that all goes well and I can go home after that… I’ve got a rifle that reached my local UPS hub at 0301 hrs.

M.I.L. funeral is today, she passed away early Sunday morning.
Viewing was yesterday and Hoosier Momma did really well all things considered.

Today will be a training day. One of our customers paid for some very in-depth training so I'll be providing that. Two (possibly 3) of our newer team members will be sitting in for some added exposure, too. There's a notable difference between supporting software and teaching others how to use it.

That's not for another 5-ish hours, and though I don't start work for another half hour or so, I'm making sure my training environment is in good order.

Got up this morning, made coffee, let the monsters out and paid $1400.00 in bills between the old place and the new. Still got another $500 to go. Next month will be easier on the wallet.

Up at O'dark thirty this A.m. I'm driving boats for the FOURTH day this week. I love it but it is physically and mentally exhausting. The boats are clumsy and under powered. The channels are tight and twisty. Wind and current rarely cooperate. I'm looking out for wildlife, answering questions, and keeping up a running narrative. But sometimes we round a corner and there is a great blue heron eating a frog, or a couple of bull gators having a territorial dispute. or a family of raccoons scuttling along the bank, or manatee, or a bear, or . . . . makes it all worth it!

Good morning GTA! Up at 0445 CDT. We are in Memphis again, babysitting our granddaughters this weekend. Our daughter has a girl's weekend in Atlanta with a high school BFF and her husband is playing at a wedding reception in East Tennessee.

I just love unexpected long weekends.
Hyundai Manufacturing of America (our sole customer) just announced no production tomorrow (Friday) due to shipping issues. Well, we all know the root cause of that...

Seems they have somewhat solved the chip shortage issue but now they just can't get them shipped regularly.
As of now they plan to make up the loss of production on Saturday 13th... we'll see.
With that, my HOD told me to cut the guys loose tomorrow and go enjoy the long weekend.
This being our first weekend with no pressing need to revisit our old place it will be nice to enjoy the 3 days at the new place. As far as I know, the weather promises to be cool and lots of sunshine. I can do that....
