I did 11 miles on the Expresso Bike this AM before daylight, then bought groceries for a few days. Temps are down in the 30s every night here now, going to shut down my underground sprinklers today. Trout were supposed to be stocked at a couple local ponds in my area within the last few days. I'll take my ultra light spinning rig, Panther Martins and Mepps spinners with the barbs filed down and try my luck.

I have outdoor maintenance to do, PVC pipe repairs, and more tree work... Yesterday I took down two dead trees that the lack of water killed.
I have some more cleanup to do on those. We need to get a water storage tank installed so that the remaining trees can survive.
   The weather is good for this.

Hit the road before daylight, first stop the tire place to resolve an issue with them, then to 2 different wally worlds to find van accessories and wipers, then to harbor freight for floor jack, jack stands, and other tools to repair the other vehicle, then tractor supply to get chicken food for the little piranhas with beaks, and the last stop is at the post office and pickup more parts packages.  Then the grand finally, unload all this mess after I take my midday snooze. I am wore slap out this afternoon.

Reading that post Kris, reminds me of the cool custom vans of the '70s.

I remember the custom vans, every now and then I will see one pop on Ebay motors or some car show.  I snagged a caravan with all the amenities except power seats and a hot tub. I did own a 1989 caravan cargo van, it didn't have all the windows in it, just the windshield, driver, passenger, sliding, and rear window in it.

At one time I owned a '65 GMC van with the flat fish tank windshield, long shag interior and yes.... a water bed.
It had a 283 and automatic. It also had the 2 bubble windows on the rear sides. The jams boomed out of a set of RTR tower house speakers.

When my parents started their business, my dad had bought a 1966 Ford Econoline van with 3 on the T to make deliveries with.. That was a fun vehicle to drive. It was a light powder blue color.

Granddaughters HS team made it to the state softball tourney, her game starts @ 0900. My hometowns HS team also made it to state, their game starts @ 1400. If my granddaughters team wins the 1st game, their next game is @ 1630. All at the same softball complex 100 miles from here. They run 4 games at a time at this softball complex in the central part of the state. It's the place to be for the next 5 days, softball central. Weatherman says 40 degrees @ 0900, 20mph wind.....

Mornin y’all.  Up at the crack of noon!  About to start another day of professional slacking!  The sky is blue. Temps are low seventies,  I’ve had a brew up and lit the first pipe of the day.  Only gonna get better from here!

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Up at 0600 CT. We got quite a bit of rain since yesterday, and it sure has cooled off. Today I have to re-insulate the copper line-set for a walk-in freezer, from the top of the freezer through the drop ceiling to the roof of the building. Should be fun. These past several days have not ended with good/fun jobs. Last night ended with a newish ice machine giving me fits. I suspect today I may have to finish my day there to get it right.

Its cool in the house this morning so I stayed under the blankets until almost 6:00. I can't find my regular "reading glasses" that I use all day, everyday. I do own extras but at this point I have searched for more than an hour and wonder if I lost them outside or left them at the Church. I'll go over and check later on. I RARELY loose or misplace anything, when I do it drives me crazy. LOL My mission today is find those glasses. I know it's silly because I could probably buy another pair like them for $20 at the drugstore I shop at and I have at least 4 pairs of 2x which is what they are.

P.S. I found them, I had worn a Jacket to Church and put them in the waist pocket.

Good thing because I am going to see my newest great granddaughter today. She was born in August and lives in Idaho now.

Last week a Granddaughter gave birth to our newest great grandson, also in Idaho. I am not sure when we will get to see that one though. We get a lot of pics to hold us over. 

The wife and I had three children. We currently have 13 grandchildren, one step grandchild and 10 great grandchildren. All our great grandchildren so far are from my oldest daughter's line.

Mornin ya'll.  Looks like I'm driving tour boats today!  The boss just told me he switched me to boats instead of late patrol.  So I'm happy!

Sounds like a great weekend.  We are visiting our oldest daughter and her family this week as well. We are in Memphis and we'll be returning home Saturday.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Up at 0600 CT. I’m glad for you guys that are getting to visit family, your kids & grandkids, especially. I’m losing my best local help at work, he’s putting his 2 week notice in today. This is not a bad time for him to do it, for us that is. Just means that we’ll have more work when we slow down. There is one more young guy here, he’s going to be my only help and I’m going to make sure he turns out right. Today I’m going to the chiropractor after my coffee, then I have a blower motor and assembly to replace in an air curtain. Not sure what happens after that, but I’m glad it’s Friday.
