Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. It’s the day before Friday and I’m working with both of the new guys replacing an ice machine and the new one gets a remote condenser on the roof. Of course, they’ve never done one, and I have to cut the hole in the roof. In fact, I’ll probably be doing all the work, besides “hey, get me this, or that”, “help me pick this up”. I’m not thrilled. This got dropped on me late Tuesday. After we get the equipment delivered and the condenser on the roof, I’ll have to round up materials. If this job wasn’t in my area, I’d just tell the new guys to have at it.

I think you probably just picked the day you work on it, rather than fixing a problem you just do it right the first time. Best for the company, customer, and the new guys get an opportunity to learn. Sounds like win, win, win to me, even if it isn't a job you're wanting to do.

I'm late posting, but I awoke a 7am (early for me as I'm a night owl)  too hot to cook breakfast so only coffee and then off to the marine store for signal flares and deisel fuel treatment.  Hard rain lifted the river 2' so now instead of stepping onto the boat nice and easy, it's a bit of a step.  Not too easy when carrying 2 gallons of water in each hand.  Rain finally stopped so I'm drying out my shoes over the stove and taking inventory of my meals for the next week. In the morning I'll set sail for home.

Good morning GTA! Up at 04-something, Happy Friday! Going to the chiropractor this morning, then meet up with new guy. We’ve got some stuff to pull out of my van back at the house from yesterday. Pick up materials for a quoted job, and hopefully, put this week behind us. I’m hoping for some pellets to show up today for me to try tomorrow.

Good morning GTA family! Up at 0430 CDT. This week my wife and I have been clearing boxes out of the attic. Stuff that has accumulated over the past 45 years.  She has been sending pictures of the items and texting the photos to the kids asking if they want anything before we put it beside the road for pickup today. I just carried an all time high number of garbage bags, boxes, and our two garbage cans to the road. I'm only hoping they will pick it all up.
It's 51° now and only supposed to get to 78° today. I might get to shoot a little today.

Happy Friday !! This is the day we all been looking for. Hopefully I can get through it with no issues at work. Been a long week.
Work continues on Killer's place but the end is coming into sight. Forging ahead.

Bill nailed it... FRIDAY!! ... last day of the work week!
 Now at 11:00 it is a BEAUTIFUL day, best in a long time.
Clear blue sky, 62 degrees and no wind.
 Hope it stays this way until 16:00

I was up at 6:50, I am going to get some outside stuff done before 61% possible thundershowers at 3PM today. I left some stuff out on a temp table I set up on saw horses that needs to be sorted and put away or gotten rid of. I have been putting it off for cooler weather but I don't want it rained on so...

Waiting did work it is cooler, right after I got that stuff out temps were triple digits I was waiting for 90ish.
The high is suppose to be 95 today, I think I will get done before the temp goes above 88.

Morning guys it is 4:55 am couldn't sleep, my part-time job (32hrs  ) a week starts at 5 in the morning Tuesday to Friday working the deli counter at the local bagel shop. The main problem is that now my internal clock has reset to my work schedule. Today I will be taking the camper to the dump station at a county campground to empty the black and grey water tanks and sterilize the fresh water tank in preparation of my departure from NY for sunny Arizona at the end of November. Once I have returned the camper to the driveway I will load some clothes and other stuff into it. The next two months will be busy as I weed through what gets taken with me, given away, tossed, or sold.

  Been up since 5:00 but just now posting. We got a break from the heat last couple of day and last night I opened up the windows in the bed room.
 AHHHHH, nice light rain started here in the night and it was SO peaceful to hear I actually slept pretty good for a change.

Good morning GTA family! Up at 0600 CDT. No, LOL,  I'm not sick. I don't know why I slept so long. I really can't remember the last time slept till 6 am.
I've washed the dishes, folded the towels that were left in the dryer last night, fixed my wife's  oatmeal and scrambled two eggs and toast for  me.
Surfing GTA and drinking coffee now. Hopefully shooting my R9 will happen sometime today.

Good morning GTA! I got up at 0430, then went back to sleep, must’ve hit burnout for the end of this summer. I slept in until 0730 CT. I did stay up until 2300 hrs til my wife got home from work. My wife has to work today at 0900, so airguns & Ayrabella are the only thing on my agenda today. Ayrabella is going to help me pickup sticks & branches around the property and dump them in the fire pit in between shooting.

Woke up early, as usual, and had coffee with our boarders.

There are 2 of them and are from the Philippines—both are “male” teachers who are starting to get their Ph.D’s 

First timers in the US and haven’t been here for 2 months even.

One is an English teacher while the other is a specialist in numbers.

I think I’m just not feeling like doing much from the crazy work I’ve had this summer. I’m going to pull the car out in a bit and setup for shooting early before Ch**ch. And if I can pull it off, I’ll shoot some more after Ch**ch. Ayrabella was not much help yesterday, so around all of that I have to pull my cart around the yard & pickup sticks & branches that came down during our last storm. There’s a bunch of them scattered all over the place, we only loaded one cart yesterday and she quit on me. Today’s supposed to get to 90*, so I’d like to do this stuff early and honey-do stuff later, indoors, when my wife goes to work & it’s too warm.

I feel for you having to pull a cart around. After a storm usually I have a couple of trailer loads of limbs to pick up but at least I have a 4' x 6' trailer to put them in.

That’s the way to do it, Dan. I wish I would have kept my old tractor and ditched the mower deck, just for pulling a trailer cart. I gave the mower to my brother-in-law. I could pull my little cart with my zero-turn, but my cart’s so small in comparison. I just pull it around and load & dump it. I’d rather be shooting, that’s what happened yesterday. But my pellets didn’t show up until after 1500.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0530 CDT. Woke up with a headache this morning.  Could have been caused by all the aggravation yesterday trying to get my Hatsan 95 to shoot tight groups. 
I took three ibuprofen at 0630 but no relief yet. Sitting on my patio drinking coffee now. We're going to stream Ch**ch today. Later well, we'll see how my headache is.

John, I'm glad your pellets arrived undamaged. I stopped using Field Supply because their poor packing resulting in damaged and dented tins.  I started using their sister company Wing Supply for FTT pellet orders. It's obvious they have different shipping departments because I've never had a problem with WS.

Although Field Supply will pick up the damaged tins and send replacements it's not worth the aggravation and delay.
