Up at 3:40 EDT. It's tough to sleep and night when you're used to sleeping during the day. Church and family activities today.

Plans are out the door before 0700, catch bait for tonights catfish overnighter. When I get back, deal with the weeds in the back yard along the alley. Pick tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers from the garden then share with neighbors.

Good morning GTA!!! Up at 0600 CT. Ch**ch at 1000 hrs and small group this evening. I really want to shoot the FWB Sport one more time, this afternoon… if I can.

John I was wanting to shoot some early this morning but it feels horrible outside.  The humidity is at 90% and in the short 15 minutes it took to put the new battery in my wife's car my shirt was wet with prespiration.   

Why do they design cars so you have to take a support brace off and unbolt the fuse block and move it to the side before you can get the battery out?  Oh and the battery doesn't just lift straight out you have to turn it almost on edge and rotate it as it comes out.

That is what happens when the bean counters override the design, production, and service engineers and produce a vehicle with the fastest least expensive exproduction. Ease of maintenance went out the window a long time ago once the maximization of profit became paramount. Once a vehicle leaves the showroom the manufacture could give two poofs how expensive it is to maintain a vehicle.

Nope.... it's so a thief has to do maximum damage to your car to steal your battery.

  I would prefer minimum damage and I spring for ~$150 and have a nice day not looking for the culprit and ending in jail for beating the thief half to death

It’s probably because many people don’t fix their own cars anymore. And it’s to discourage anyone else from having an inkling of a desire to do so.

It’s 81* and light rain right now. I heard thunder and just got a lightning alert. I’m still about to shoot some before dinner. I just have to pull my wife’s car out, since we shoot from inside the garage. We might have to use an umbrella to check or set targets is all.

Up at 5:00AM, I slept in today because I had trouble getting to sleep last night. I have been staying up LATE that last few nights and so my body clock was messed up. We had Church from 10-12 and we have the evening Church at 5:00PM. We are having a "Video" night so I should probably take a power nap now so I stay awake for it. We are watch "The Chosen" and then discussing it.

We're watching season one over again before beginning season two. We bought the first season on blue ray but we're watching season two and more using the Chosen app on my phone. By using screen sharing we're able to watch it on our big screen smart TV.

Good morning GTA! It’s Monday, back to the grind! It’s a short week for me, though. I only have to make it to Wednesday. I have to go to Grove, Okla., probably be there all day. I learned my lesson in the past, I’m bringing my weed-whacker and my backpack blower in case I need to (probably will) clean up the place before I can work.

Mornin ya’ll.  Off today but it looks like Fred came to visit.  I will probably wait until the memsahib leaves for work and then set up to shoot steel spinners  from the back stairs window.  That’s my “all weather” shooting station.

Feels like stepping onto a mine field at work this morning. As of last Wednesday the plan was that our customer (Hyundai) would not be running production due to the chip shortage Thurs - Tues of this week. I offered my team members the option of 'no pay, no penalty' or they could used vacation if they wanted pay. They were split on taking the options... some took the time off without pay and some took vacation time.
Then out of the blue, Hyundai decided to run Monday and Tuesday and it was announced on Facebook over the weekend... REALLY? FACBOOK? WTH? !!!
I don't even have Facebook. It was just out of curiosity that I had Betty Lou take a look Sunday.
So, I went into scramble mode. I tried to call my team members with no luck... nobody answered. I sent out a group text and only one team member responded. He chose to cancel his vacation days and come to work.... Thank you Mr. Dock.
That gives me minimal coverage on 1st shift. No word from my 2nd shift guys as of yet.
Then to top it off... when assembly folks got here this morning it appears a fire sprinkler system pipe had busted and most of the plant was a lake. They got that fixed and almost cleaned up when another one let go. They are now cleaning up that mess.
To top it off... Fred is coming....    Hopefully he will run out of gas or make a hard right turn.

I ride a desk and many people think I have it made... not so much.
When I worked for Honda I was tool and die. When I clocked out and went home I was done until the next day or next week.
It's like none stop now. The phone rings all hours with one issue or another. Depending on the urgency, I may have to drop whatever I am doing and handle the situation. Sometimes I can do it with a phone call or 2. Other times I have to come in and handle it myself. I need to get through this for a minimum of another year and a half. Then it's all someone else's problem.

Good morning GTA! It’s Monday, up at 0330 CT again. Headache this morning.  Bill, Carter, and Kris I've been thinking about you guys (and gal) with Fred here and then Grace coming soon afterwards. I have relatives (a sister and her two children and their families) who live near Foley,  Alabama so I'm always watching the coast line during Hurricane season.
