I'm sure not. That's why I just bought an F150 SXT to tow the 30 ft travel trailer that I just put a deposit on. Once I have all my ducks in a row I will leave her and NY state in my rearview mirrors

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CT. Hopefully I can get out early and enjoy the morning with my R9 - .177 again. Yesterday was fun. I set up my silhouettes and had a blast. I was out at daybreak getting the chickens prepped.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430, went back to sleep until 0600 CT. That’s when I know I hit burnout at work. It felt good. My wife is singing today, so I have to drop her off at Ch**ch early. After Ch**ch, I see a nap in my future. My other Burris scope ring is on a FedEx truck for delivery. Sure would be something if I get it today. I plan on shooting this afternoon, it’d be great if I can get the new scope rings mounted first.

My son is out working on broken A/C  with his job he takes Saturdays off and works Sundays because that way his pay is at today 2.5X the regular rate that he earns Monday to Friday

I hear you, Don. When I was in NJ we had all kinds of extra pay= prevailing wage, crazy holiday pay, $150.00 just for being on call, summer bonus, Christmas bonus, quarterly bonus, daily overtime after 8 hours, etc… etc….  We don’t get that here, we are straight time until 40, period. If I could, I’d work Monday - Thursday or Tuesday- Friday the rest of my career. There’s zero incentive to go above and beyond doing anything here. Maybe pride & integrity, but over several years, I can’t remember much to be proud of when I look back on it to keep me going on pride.

John believe me I have no regrets for leaving the trades at my age I'm pretty much used up and plan on expending more of my energy traveling and seeing more of our national & state parks out west. I have spent many years seeing most places east of the Mississippi River and now I will see more of the western half of the country

Heading out to los ranchito in the morning. Gotta spray some ground clear around the shop, do some mowing and set up a shooting lane.
I need to go print out some targets for the 100yd match tonight.
Oh yeah and fling some pellets down range.

Good morning GTA! I woke up at 0430 CT again this morning. I plan to get out early and shoot at those little chickens again with my R9 - .177. Yesterday I opened up 5 more blister packs and robbed the chickens out of those. That gave me 10 chickens to shoot at before having to walk out and set them up again.

 The larger silhouettes, the turkey, pig, and ram proved less of a challenge for my R9 at 40 yards so I was mainly shooting at the chickens and with only 5 on the rack I was doing a lot of walking back and forth.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0415 CT. It’s back to the grind, and it was 77* already when I turned on the coffee. I had a pretty good weekend, I hope everyone did. I have no idea what I’m doing yet for today. My dispatcher is on vacation and no one gave me a job for this morning. I do know it’s going to be pretty hot this week. I’m going to try to get the oil changed in my boss’ van on the way out, Friday was a no-go. I’m expecting my van back sometime this week.

Solution buy more chickens that way you can do more shooting and less walking. Problem solved !

Oh I do that too Bill with my PB. Walking 100, 150, 200 yards to check and replace targets gets old fast.  This is just 40 yards so I'm walking it.

0730 and drinking coffee. Waiting on Fed Ex to open up so I can get a package shipped. Then heading out to do my chores and hopefully some shooting.

I should.  They're $4.73 a pack on Amazon. But each pack only has one of each. I bought 12 packs and still have two unopened.

Mornin y’all.  Up at the crack of noon.  The memsahib took the dogs along for a ride when she drove our daughter to work this morning so I have the house to myself.  I plan to finish my new portable backstop today.  It’s been awful hot the last couple of weeks and I just can’t get motivated to work on it after sweating all day at work.  But now that I have TWO Hatsan Mod 125’s I need a much stronger backstop and it has become critical.

Good morning GTA! I woke up at 0330 CT this morning. I've been sitting in my recliner in the den reading and thinking about my day. It was so hot yesterday it was miserable after 11am.  It reached a blistering 95° with a heat index of 104°.  If I wany to shoot any it has to be early. So I guess I plan on getting out early and shoot at those little chickens again with my R9 - .177.
or maybe shooting at my 60 yard spinner rack.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. Happy Tuesday, tomorrow is Hump Day! 
Today I’ve got a filter change PM at the mall. They don’t open until 1000 hrs, but I can get on the roof earlier. I’ll wash the boss’ van on the way out and try once more to get the oil changed. The shop I go to hasn’t been open on Saturday since Covid. And they’ve been ridiculously busy during the week since then. I used to go first thing Saturday morning, they’d get me in before anyone else, as long as I was there first, have a cup of coffee & read. Now it’s like pulling teeth to get in. Same as your weather, Dan, it’s supposed to be 95* again, hotter with the heat index and supposed to be the same through Friday. I’m so done, LOL!

Good morning ya’ll 0530 here in Fort Worth. Already loaded the truck and having a cup of coffee before I go.
I have a hose bib to install and a couple of water hose hangers. Then spray some ground clear.
The FX sisters are loaded up along with a couple of bottles and some pellets. I saved some cardboard boxes for targets.
Going to get some sighting in and chrony work done today. I also want to try the BC calculation on Strelock Pro. 
A high of 97 with index at 105 for Ft Worth. Same in Dawson for today.
