In to work at 7:30am for 4 hours. I stopped by the mancave and turned on one ac unit. Should be nice and cool in there for the work planned this afternoon.

Ahhhhh, I changed my own plans… again. After my shower, I decided I can wait one more week on my haircut. It is going to get really hot today, 96* + the heat index. After I finish this fourth cup of coffee, I’ll get my gas, I’m going to clean the deck and put on sharp blades. I’ll go ahead & get the mowing done before Mama goes to work. But, I decided I’ll take her to work so I can keep the car & I promised the girls I’d take them to McDonald’s today. I can take them to a late lunch on the way or early dinner later. After all that, I think I’ll play with the FWB Sport later this afternoon. Mama won’t need picked up until late, 2200-2300, so I’ll probably hang out with her on her last hour so she’s safe.

I'm on call this weekend and have to be at work for 4 hours today and Sunday, should be home about noon unless I get a call from the HUK.

Once I get home, I plan on pulling blades off all the lawn equipment, giving them a quick sharpen with a draw file, gas everything up, put the bluetooth earbuds in, crank the tunes and settle in on cutting 5 acres of overgrown hay.

Good afternoon! Off today. Been working in the garden. Harvesting peas and clearing away the last of the tomatoes and melons. The fall garden is germinating in peat pots in front of the living room window. Viciously hot out side right now so I’m taking a break. Soon, either Flash or Flytrap will start pestering me to go for a walk. If I shake a pellet tin Flash will start spinning widdershins.

Deosil, the opposite of Widdershins. I had to look it up. I remembered it as “Sunwise”. Honestly I will pay more attention the next time he starts spinning.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0515 CT. Having coffee, by myself… no rain yet, but the dogs abandoned me due to the sounds of thunder. I don’t know if we’ll get rain, I hope so, but it’s breaking up as it approaches and cruising right on by to the north. It is supposed to be much cooler anyway, low 80s. We are going to Ch**ch this morning, then my wife has to work 1400 hrs til close again. I asked my little shooting partner to shoot airguns with me today, because that’s about all I’m planning to do this afternoon. Well, that & laundry.

Good morning Ya’ll. Just having a cup O Joe. Thinking about todays chores/honeydoos/want toos.
I am blowing off mowing, today. Supposed to cool off to the low 90’s tomorrow, Weather gurl said a cold front is going to blow through tonight.
So, I will pick up a few things at lowes/Ace/homedepot to fix a few things around the house. Toilet seat, and squirrel infestation in the attic. I know I know, I have an air rife right? Nope, the nice officer said I cant do that in town. I might empty a cauldron and get it set up as a herb planter for the girls.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0615 CT. Yep I slept in. Up the first time at 0245 but finally finally managed to get back to sleep. I've swept the patio of the little Bradford pear halves that the birds and Moe, Larry and Curly (the 3 squirrels that are waiting to be killed when the season begins) dropped.

Later this morning I'm going to mount the Airmax 4-12x40AO in the R9 using the TO4c Sports Match mounts that arrived today.

We've decided to stream church and zoom Bible Fellowship today. There has been such an upsurge on new Covid cases in our area near our church that the local high school has resorted to virtual learning for the next 2 weeks.

Extreme Heat warning again for today.

The lead in connection on our roof top TV antenna broke yesterday and I climbed up there and repaired it. Walking on an 8/12 pitch is not something I enjoy. It was hot yesterday with 107° heat index.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CT. We didn’t get to relax much this weekend, it was a good weekend though. I think it’s time to put in for a couple days vacation for a 4 day weekend to wind down just a little. Today it’s back to the grind already, 2 hour drive to my first job, I’ll wash the boss’ van on the way out. But first, coffee!

Good morning GTA! Up at 0530 CT. My son called yesterday morning needing my assistance. The compressor had burned up on his shop 60 gal air compressor and he bought a new one and asked if I would like to help him replace it. So I didn't get a chance to mount the Hawke Airmax 4-12x40AO on the R9 yesterday.

Hopefully today I'll get it mounted, I'll be using the TO4c Sports Match mounts that arrived Saturday.
