I have some Brazilian pellets from Steve that I want to compare with FTT and Superdomes.Well I did get to shoot yesterday but my time was filled with problems. I was going to do some pellet comparisons and I was going to shoot my XS-25 .22 cal that SteveP-52 gave me. Since I have not shot it in I while I wanted to familiarize my with it first. I know it's capable of quarter size groups at 30 yards because I have made those in the past shooting Superdomes. According to my notes the last time I shot this rifle I did another pellet comparison and I assumed that is why it was shooting to the right. I first set up a targets at 20, 25, and 30 yards. At shot at 20 yards to start and I was not happy. I discovered a loose stock screw and then figured that would solve my problem. No it didn't. Still shooting 1.5" groups at 20 yards and an inch to the right. I began to wonder if the UTG 3-12x32 Swat Bug Buster scope was going bad. I took the scope off and set a target up at 10 yards. I really can't see well enough with my eyesight to shoot open sights farther than that. Well at 10 yards, with Superdome 14.5 gr I managed a small cloverleaf 5-shot group. So it's not the rifle. Long story short I finally discovered the front scope mount loose. Not much just a tax, no noticeable movement. It's a quick detachable mount that came with the scope. I zeroed the scope again but the best 10-shot group I could get was this at 30 yards.I was disappointed with those groups so I brought the rifle in and swapped out those detachable mounts. I'll try again for that quarter size group today.

Nice shooting, Dan. I had heard of those pellets 2+ years ago after SHOT Show. I haven’t seen them in hand yet, and forgot about them.
Good morning GTA! Got in from work at 2245 last night and I was up at 0443 CT. I’m so dog-gone tired. But by 0500, I ordered a Feinwerkbau (FWB) Sport .177 and 5 tins of Sovereign Rangemaster 10.3 gr. from AoA. My eyes are hardly open and my back is killing me. At 0715 I’m dropping my van off for an oil change and I’ll walk to the chiropractor. My first call is in Ft. Smith. I’ll get there when I get there. Now, coffee! Today’s going to be a good day. It’s supposed to rain today, nothing yet.
Congrats on the FWB John! I am eager to see how soon AoA gets it to you. That used to be their weakness but I haven't heard any complaints in a while.
Short notice... Got a distress call last night. So today I am flying to Orlando FL to get a buddy / co-worker out of the hospital and drive him and his car home.Good news is it's a Jeep Cherokee TrackHawk with a 707-hp supercharged Hellcat V-8 under the hood... and "Tail of the Dragon" is on our way home.

Wow! I hope he's doing well. But Wow!! I just looked that Jeep up, from $89k to $107k fully loaded.
Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT, I was going to go start cutting my son's yard at daybreak he's working six 14-hour days a week now and his yard is over due but my headache changed my mind. We are seeing pop-up thunderstorms also John and they're forecasted to continue through next Friday. My neighbor had a popup canopy that had a broken leg, of course I saw "treasure" in his scrap so I dismantled it for the hardware and frame pieces. I'll make a target stand or something out of it. I'll use the fabric top for something also.
