I too went out to breakfast today, I went with my dad, then back to his place and talked about his upcoming marriage and life as an older person, he shared his feelings; concerns and joyful expectations.

Both of us have been eating in restaurants probably as much as anyone this last year. We had several local restaurants that stayed open all year because the Sheriffs would not enforce our Governor's "rules".
The restaurants all took extra precautions and none of their staff got sick, so I am sure they handled it right.

My dad very rarely catches anything because he has always been very germ aware and clean sanitizing everything he touches all the time.

Moving day today. There are 4 trucks causing a traffic hazard. One truck at a time backing down the drive. Bit of an emotional time but we have to do this. We will never again have the opportunity that we have seized.

Good morning GTA. Up at 0445 CT this wonderful Wednesday morning. And now that I'm finally feeling better and with a morning without any rain or errands I'm hopefully optimistic that I can shoot before the heat drives me inside.

I have some Brazilian pellets from Steve that I want to compare with FTT and Superdomes.

Ooo I would hate to do work where someone else gave the quote. Hopefully you find that they were accurate. Disgruntled customers are not fun.

Ooo I would hate to do work where someone else gave the quote. Hopefully you find that they were accurate. Disgruntled customers are not fun.

The disgruntled part is usually on me, it rarely gets to the customer. We’ll get it fixed one way or another. We have an unwritten policy of not quoting on top of a quote. Some things are unforeseen, but it does make it frustrating when I wasn’t there in the first place.

"Good Luck" with that I hated to follow up on someone else diagnostics. Usually ended up with me trying to explain why the installed parts did not correct the problem. If the job was quoted with a fixed price my boss usually ended up eating the additional costs.

Good morning all. I had a ball at my new job this last week and today is my first day off. I’ve been poking at my new Hatsan Mod 125 all week but I haven’t had more than a couple of minutes to take it outside. In just a second I’m going to head out to walk the perimeter of my property and permissions with it. I’ll give it a thorough work out.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Tomorrow is Friday, yay! I actually got home at 1830 last night, even had dinner with my family. Up at 0430 CT. So, yesterday’s first quote went well. The next quoted job was a mess from the get go. The guy who wrote it up really needs to be the one to do it. But one of the many components he wrote up for, the compressor: was lost at the supply house, so I didn’t have to do it yesterday.

This morning after coffee and making my lunch, I’ll meander out to look at a cooler that’s not working.
Did I mention tomorrow’s Friday?

Good morning GTA! And Happy Thursday to you John! I got up at 0455 CT this morning, I had been awake for a while just laying there.
My plans are to work on my mower. It stopped charging the battery a while back and I haven't been able to figure out why. I have 39v AC coming from the stator and 13.65v DC coming off the rectifier but my battery is not charging. The wire from the rectifier disappeared into the wire harness and reappears as it enters the ignition switch. I'm thinking either the wire has a break in it along the way or possibly the ignition switch is bad. Diagnosing Wiring problems has always been something I am poor at. I'm considering running a wire directly from the rectifier through a fuse and toggle switch to the battery. I thought about taking it to a mechanic but they are backed up 3 weeks so it could be a month before I would get it back. I can't wait that long.

Well I did get to shoot yesterday but my time was filled with problems. I was going to do some pellet comparisons and I was going to shoot my XS-25 .22 cal that SteveP-52 gave me. Since I have not shot it in I while I wanted to familiarize my with it first. I know it's capable of quarter size groups at 30 yards because I have made those in the past shooting Superdomes. According to my notes the last time I shot this rifle I did another pellet comparison and I assumed that is why it was shooting to the right. I first set up a targets at 20, 25, and 30 yards. At shot at 20 yards to start and I was not happy. I discovered a loose stock screw and then figured that would solve my problem. No it didn't. Still shooting 1.5" groups at 20 yards and an inch to the right. I began to wonder if the UTG 3-12x32 Swat Bug Buster scope was going bad.
I took the scope off and set a target up at 10 yards. I really can't see well enough with my eyesight to shoot open sights farther than that. Well at 10 yards, with Superdome 14.5 gr I managed a small cloverleaf 5-shot group. So it's not the rifle. Long story short I finally discovered the front scope mount loose. Not much just a tax, no noticeable movement. It's a quick detachable mount that came with the scope. I zeroed the scope again but the best 10-shot group I could get was this at 30 yards.

I was disappointed so I brought the rifle in and swapped out those detachable mounts. I'll try again for that quarter size group today.

Up at 7, coffee, going over the UTV and trailer projects and see that I have the UTV all done with the turn signals, wiring etc. I would like to add a pair of wake tower speakers to the mid roll bar for some tunes when riding but the prices for amplified speakers are outrageous!

I still have to terminate the wiring on the trailer and scab in the front marker lights tonight so I can finish it up Friday and start on the ramps this weekend.

We put these on our 4 wheelers. They are great providing your intention is not to entertain everyone on the trails..

I see some guys out there with their monster truck utvs with 3k watts. They have their speakers facing to the rear of their rigs.
It's obvious they are just show boating.

We dont need loud, just bluetooth and a amplified so we can have some music while we are on the road. Once on the actual trails, we want to hear the UTV.

Run a couple of errands then mount the scope on my R7. If nobody is around will check zero at 25 yards in my backyard. Once it cools down I will look for the DAR fill probe that is lost inside my Rogue/travel home. I'm still finding stuff tucked away from my road trip last month

Went to the quacks early this am. Says take it easy for a couple more weeks. I’m good with that but there ain’t no such thing as “easy” where I work! I’ve got to modify my spring compressor to work on my new Hatsan. I want to get the spring out, de-bur everything, and do a lube tune. I’ve put about a hundred pellets through it but it still sounds rough in there.
