I have been sleeping 2.5 to 5 hours a night, going to sleep late and then not staying asleep long, or able to go back to sleep either. Amazingly I am not too sleepy all day. With my wife in Idaho I have been getting a lot of small projects done. I have 2 grandsons that have been coming and going too.
I tripped and fell over my Great Danes bed yesterday afternoon, that he moved into the path while I was outside getting temporary blindness (you know how it is when the sunlight is so bright that when you walk into a dimly lit house you can't see much for a minute). My left knee is swollen and painful as the knee cap was about pushed below the knee on impact.

I "lived" and will get over it though. I am doing laundry today and cleaning some tools. I haven't eaten yet today so I need to figure out what to eat soon.

It is too hot to comfortably cook out doors currently. 107 ° feels like 111 °.
Oh I just remembered, I have a left over Sonic burger in the fridge.

Now the dogs are back asleep and I am drinking coffee.
Today and tomorrow before I go back to work after being off a couple weeks.
RWS 48 .177 scheduled to be here today and I got some other stuff planned.

Good morning gang. Up at 0345 CT. Last day of antibiotics, hopefully I'll start feeling better, I think these antibiotics have made me feel bad.

Anyway, I hope you have a great first day Carter. I'm thinking it will be kinda of "get to know stuff" day right? or will they have you preforming the duties you were hired for? I always dreaded first days I hope yours goes smoothly. And ditto what Scott said, do sink the boat or ram the dock on your first day, you'll have other days to do that.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0515 CT. Working with the new guy again today. Yesterday was hard on us both, my brain was smoked by the end of it. Today we have quoted work to do, it’ll be a lot easier with 2 guys. I’ve got to stop at the chiropractor on the way to pick him up.

Thanks John.... I don't feel bad.. just normal heartburn that I wake up with from time to time... antacid usually knocks it out.

That’s good to hear, Bill. I don’t suffer from heartburn often. I couldn’t imagine it being a regular thing.

Thanks John. The pharmacist gave me a heads up on side affects. I've had antibiotics make me feel bad before. I'm hoping after today I'm going to feel better.

Bill I'm sorry about the indigestion, been there. I had my gallbladder removed and my indigestion disappeared.

Awake off and on all night again. Dang- I sure do hate this gettin' old thing! Lol 😆

So far, not scheduled to work this weekend, and as far as I know, no rain expected, so maybe that floor will get pulled up at last.
I also really need to do some shooting. I haven't shot at all for about a month, when I was doing pest bird control.

Dang it's dark and dreary out there..
I wanna shoot Willie G Stubbs this morning. I put a pistol scope on it and I can barely see the bulls on the target at 10 meters. Heck, I don't want to set up light during the daytime...

I'll just print some different targets once my breakfast settles.

I have to schedule 'trigger time' for myself when momma's got other things going on. She usually hears me and grabs a gun and joins me for a bit. I plan on dumping a full tin on paper this weekend, I want to dial in 3 particular pellets with the three DARs but like you, I still have chores that have higher priorities.

Good morning all. Up at 830 to start. Had to feed the dogs, brush teeth etc. Now I’m gonna eat and then hopefully spend the entire day with the Marauder if it doesn’t rain again.

Got the rifle on June 22nd iirc and have shot it for hours every single day that it hasn’t rained lol. I’m out of work currently after my restaurant I bartended at closed for good due to covid. So I think today will be more of the same lol.

At least today isn’t 90 degrees out with high humidity and intermittent rain squalls every 45 mins like it’s been for DAYS.

Oh yeah I also have 8 tins (250 count) of jsb 18.1 arriving today from PA along with a 14.5” barrel for my 1322!
