G'morning all!

Long day at work yesterday....left the house at 0500- home at 2030. Hit the sack early around 2100.
Today will be busy as well. Going to work more on the demo. It is down to frame at this point.

I almost got hit by lightning in the BWCA once.
It hit a tree about 20 yards away from me.
Just before the lightning struck, I could smell a funny smell then all of the hair on my head and arms stood straight up in the air.
It hit a white pine... high up... then blew what looked like tooth picks out at the base in my direction.
I did not get hit..... but it sure was a close call.

Have a great weekend on the North Shore camping.
You are going to have quite a load of rock on the way back home.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0330, then 0430… then 0500, 
Today is our 12th Wedding Anniversary, and my wife has to work. 
Andi (Andrea) my wife, will be up in 15 minutes, and I’ll drop her off in an hour so I can have the car.
This morning I’m going to do all the line trimming & trim the bushes. The lawn hasn’t grown much this past week in this heat, so I may skip mowing. I need to empty and park my trailer and straighten up my van for work this week.
I’d like to shoot the QB78D & XS60C some more, Andi doesn’t get off work til 1500.
After lunch I’ll take the girls for ice cream & to see mom at work for a minute.

  My wife and I have our 46th tomorrow, wow time flies. We are celebrating with 8 month old "Miriam" that will be a great grand child as soon as Idaho and California can get there acts together and let my granddaughter in Idaho adopt her. For now though we have had the privilege of taking care of her and seeing her learn to roll and then to sit up and to crawl since April. I think it's been a real blessing for my wife too. It is helping my wife with the grief of loosing her sister, to see this "little" one at this stage of life and all the joys babies bring. A couple days ago my wife bought Miriam $400 worth of clothes on a routine run to Costco. I could tell my wife loved shopping for and buying baby girl things. The clothes were needed because Miriam is growing like a weed, she is 8 months but wearing size 18 now. This pic is how 65 year olds carry stuff at the beach. Zoen pulled the wagon and got a free work out.
  We had to carry the full wagon up and down 21 stairs to the beach too I him helped with that part. It's hard to believe they don't have a ramp.

Morning all!  I’m short!  One more and a wake up and I am done with this job!  I’ll be starting a new job next month and I’m having hernia surgery next week so this is my last weekend.  I’ll let y’all in on a little secret.  Park rangers hate big holiday weekends.  This will be the first 4rth of July in 15 years that I am not working.  Looking forward to it.

I thought I was immortal when I was younger.  I’ve bounced off a lot of hard stuff.  Now the poultry is coming home to roost and it looks like chicken overcast out there.
