Good morning GTA! Up at 0425, 5 minutes before my alarm. I don’t normally use an alarm, but I’ve got a service meeting in Ft Smith at 0800 and I’ve got to straighten up my van a little beforehand. We’re finally getting new uniforms today, supposed to be much better than the ones we have. Work is piling up and some of them are disasters. We’re also short handed, with guys working out of state. A guy at a supply house last week told me: “don’t let them work you too hard, this job will make an old man out of you fast”. I told him, you ain’t kidding.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0525 CDST. I didn't sleep the best last night for some reason. I plan on shooting a couple of rifles this morning if I can. After lunch the patio begins to get sunny and it heats up. Our humidity has been lower than usual and it's felt good outside even with near 90° weather.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0415 CDST. I’ve got my Wednesday morning meeting with the guys from Ch**ch today at 0600. Then I’ve got a big nasty HVAC PM to do in Ft Smith. Fortunately, I’ve got some help today with a young fella from Tulsa. Looks like the rain has let up, over the next 5 days it looks like just Thursday night we may get some more. That grass seed I put down has come up thick and tall, it filled in really nice. I sure am looking forward to mowing Saturday, or Friday afternoon, if I get done with work early enough. Definitely looking forward to the 3 day weekend.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CDST. After a take my youngest daughter's youngest daughter to school we have a curbside grocery order to pick up. After we get the groceries put away I'm going to set up my range for a trajectory experiment. I have my R9 .177 zeroed at 35 yards and I'm going to shoot at 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60 yards to record the trajectory of a 35 yard zero.

Hopefully the wind will cooperate today.

42F this morning, overcast, feeling a little overwhelmed today with a new boss that is having a hard time prioritizing our work and setting deadlines for task completion. I'm just going to keep my nose to the grindstone and forget the deadlines, do what I can to the best of my abilities.

Hope to shoot some this evening when I get home to unwind some.

David, that’s what I have to do everyday, overcome incompetence and insufficiency! Wish I could get home to shoot everyday, that’d help a lot... someday.

Hang in there John. I had a pow-wow with higher ups and they told me that I wasn't the issue but there were some issues in the department that needed the broad brush. I'll survive...

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430. I’ve got 2 calls on me so far today. I’m going to leave about 0600, the first site opens at 0700 and it’s an indoors job. The second one will be on the roof, but a pretty good chance for rain after noontime and about 85*. Looking like it’s going to be just above 70* Friday through Monday and no rain. Sure am looking forward to it.

After a couple of chores I'm going to re-zero my R9 .177 down to 30 yds and give it a try, then 25 yds and see which I prefer.

Mornin'
I took Today and tomorrow off on Vacation days, so this is day 1 of a 5 day holiday weekend for me.
I have a lot of work to do here at home, the garage looks like a Bomb went off, my shop is even worse.

If the weather cooperates I need to paint the trim on the house, and Hoosier Momma's car needs brake pads Front and Rear.
We have a Family get together planned for Sunday here so I need to "tidy up" the yard.
No matter how much I have to do, it is still better than being at Work!

Topped out at 39F today, dropping down to 29F tomorrow morning. Momma had to bring all her pots in for the night.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400. It’s Friday!!! I’ve got a 2 hour hike to my first job today. I’ve got 2 jobs on my board for today. But first, I’ll visit my chiropractor on the way out. The rain has stopped and it’s only supposed to get to 71*, hopefully we dry out a little. Tomorrow I have to mow the lawn & get the trimming done. I haven’t mowed in 2 weeks. Definitely looking forward to shooting some airguns too!

It's already 71° here and there is a 40% chance of rain at 1500 hours. It’s only supposed to get to 89° hopefully I'll get to shoot my R7 a little before the showers come.

I can relate to being sore Scott. A few months back I went over to my son's shop (actually it's both our shop, it was my father's and mine before he died. It's where my mechanic tools, jacks, welding equipment is located.) anyway I went over to change out the pads on the front and rear of my GMC Sierra. Long story, I was so slow getting up and down that when my son came in and saw me crawling around in the floor he offered to finish the job. We tackled it in no time. I was the gopher and he did the crawling. LOL I was still sore the next day.

I got up at 5:30 AM today.
I'm really enjoying this summer like weather.

It was 33F and I saw a few SNOW Flakes coming down.
Thank goodness they melted as soon as they hit the ground.

I've got ICE droplets on them where yesterday's rain droplets froze last night.

Just off a two-day work stint, so I slept in a little. Initially up at 0500, but had a cup of coffee, read a little, then managed to drift back off for about another 90 min. Finally a dry day here, and if it stays sunny, I plan to get that roof taken down today. I am really tired of this demo staring me in the face. Haha

I ventured out to the camper... BURR by Cracky!
Cold, rain, nasty out. Being on "Hughes-net" I am lucky I have signal.
Made an appointment for the Dawg at the Vet, she needs a Peti and her Eatables refill.
Then I am told we will be having Grand-Daughters #5 and 6 while Daughter #4 goes to Indy for another "treatment".
Hoosier Momma has the Crayons and Books out on the kitchen table...Something tells me I will be doing a lot of coloring this evening.

Last time, if I remember right, I barely made it out alive with two broken legs, two broken arms, and a fractured skull.
