Good morning GTA! It’s Monday, back to the grind! Up at 0500 CDST. I’ve got some filter change PMs that need to get done, but first I need to get my oil changed & tires rotated on the van. We’ve got some scattered rain moving through this week. Hopefully, it’ll knock the pollen down and make stuff grow, especially my new grass. The dogs won’t leave the stuff in the backyard alone. Have to keep yelling at them, “Don’t eat that!” Like toddlers

Good morning all!
I haven't checked in much lately...12 he shift Thu. Friday errands. Sat and Sun worked my second job then yesterday went dancing in the evening and to eat at the Mediterranean buffet on the west side of Fort Worth. Up at 0300....working another 12 HR shift today. Have a great day!

Another beautiful day here in Oriental, NC and another day looking for a place to rent.  It appears they run adds for homes to rent and never cancel them.  The past 3 weeks every add we call on ends with the landlord upset they are still getting calls on the already rented property.  Hopefully we can find something before the end of the month.

I'm on day 8 at the children's hospital... been sleeping here so no airguns for me. not a great place to be on one level, but it's great to see someone you love getting better thanks to some professional care.  Out of here pretty soon and my kid is feeling good so life is good on that level!

Good morning GTA! I haven't checked in much since we've been in Memphis.  We return home tomorrow,  I have two days of cutting lawns ahead of me when we get home. 

Finished 18 projects at my daughter's house.  Caught a bug from my youngest granddaughter so I was sick a day and a half.  But feeling great now.

Work has picked up and we’re approaching crazy busy. Plus they’re sending me way out of my normal area since a couple guys are helping out of state due to company growth. Got home at 2030 and filed my taxes until just before midnight. Was supposed to do them weeks ago, but we were waiting on some paperwork.

Today I have a 2 hour drive to my first job. Hope everyone has a great day!

Finally get a day off from working more than I like to these days. 😆

Ever since my died died 10 years ago, I go visit my mom every other Tuesday, and for years, we spent the day thrift store shopping then had a late lunch. Mom's health is failing, so she doesn't feel like going with me anymore, but I go visit, and we share great conversation, laughter, and good coffee....
I call it Momday.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CDST. Yesterday was a good day, 4 service calls, but 3 of them were for the same place. Got home at 1830 and had dinner with my wife. Today I’ve got another call in Ft Smith. We’ve had just about the perfect amount of rain the past 2 days I haven’t had to water the new grass I put down. Should be the same today & tomorrow. I don’t think we’ll get any rain Friday - Sunday. I’m hoping to see some grass poke up by Sunday, maybe.

Looks like rain for the next 5 days, thunderstorms mostly. The grass is exploding up, trees are all leafing out at once and the apple trees have burst with flowers! Even the Lilac has some purple!

 Got up at 9:15    I was up with my oldest daughter until 3:37 working on a puzzle (we were shocked when we saw the time we quit for the night) So usually our trash pickup is between 1 and 4 PM, yep it went early today so I missed it.   I DIDN"T PLAN THAT! (I should have got up at 6:00 I was awake at 6:00)

I mowed weeds for a couple hours, then had to replace the deck belt, and then mowed weeds for another two hours. Most of 4 acres looks like brown dirt now. There is about one more acre that still needs scalped for the summer, but my back told me to do it another day!

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CDST. Work has not been fun at all lately. One big disaster after another. Even if it starts out or finishes well, or near normal, there’s a disaster waiting for me. Mostly, neglected sites with neglected equipment, with backyard techs butchering them up for years before I show up. Unfortunately, in the commercial side,  and my piece of it especially, it usually doesn’t pan out when I say “you just need a new one, replace it”. So yesterday started off good, but spent the afternoon at such a place, and I have to go back to figure out how to fix it today. I’m living for the weekends like never before.

Up at 0300 because I couldn't sleep! 😆

Working a long shift today then off tomorrow, then half-shift on Sunday.
Yesterday, I finally got a little more done on the demo. Got all the screws removed from the roof panels except for one 'run", so if it is dry next week, I plan to take the roof down, then framing, and hopefully the weather will hold up to get the rest of the demo done.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0440 CDST. It’s been a pretty rough week, but it’s Friday! I actually don’t have a first call/job for this morning, and it’s raining again. I’m going to get my oil change/tire rotation on my van when I go see my chiropractor. After that, who knows? I’ll have to call the office at 0800 and see. I am hoping for nice weather this weekend and some airgun shooting is definitely on the list for Saturday.

MORNIN!
Woke up at 5:27, 3 minutes before the alarm once again. I guess my internal clock is finally adjusted to DST. 
 coffee, dog, smokes, and headed to work (T.G.I.F.)
Today is supposed to a warm one, Yesterday it was 98F and humid on the Plant floor. Today is forecast to be warmer.
After work I am grilling Burgers and Brats at the Golf course to help out Hoosier Momma at 17:00, should be done by 19:30.
 Then tomorrow morning I am helping smoke a few (100) chicken quarters on my buddies Smoker Trailer for the Lodge.
 And so another season starts.

We haven't been anywhere in a while so, we're going to take our modest TT out for a few days starting Sunday.  ITMT, we're checking everything out to see if it still works and loading up the essentials.

Well, everything seemed to work and there doesn't seem to be any leaks from February's big freeze so, l reckon I'll shoot a few targets.  It looks like more rain again today.   I'm glad we have a covered patio to shoot from.

Well been up since 6:30 and just visited with my daughters and granddaughters but now the left to go to the beach. The weather here is not great because of the wind so I will probably just find indoor stuff to do. Sunny with gusty winds, high 68F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph gusts over 40 mph. 

Maybe I should finish mowing the weeds down since all the dust will be blown away quickly and I can stay down wind from it. I am not crazy about that idea though.

Work is over for the week so it's time for me to get a snack and go to work! Jump on the trail Mower and cut 7 Acres of field grass plus the ditches. Wish me luck!

I just converted one of my bedrooms into a hog blind. I have the ac unit outside nearby so I'll turn the ac down for the unit to come on making enough noise so the hogs can't hear me open the window as the unit coming on doesn't scare them away. Should have done this years ago but if it's raining I'll still have to walk out under the patio to shoot them since the patio is not over the bedroom window. It's going to be loud shooting the AR15 in there but I'll have ear plugs and noise cancelling earphones.

You know....I shoot starlings and HS on the martin houses from my bedroom window....I call it the Redneck Woman blind....I think yours may be even MORE redneck than mine!
