Yeah, the rain here is really holding up my project! I plan to reuse most of the materials, so I can't really work much on the demo while its so wet out.

MORNIN!
I have an unexpected 4 day weekend.
Grand Daughter #3's School called and she was "exposed" to covid so she has to stay home today, get tested Saturday, and then can't go back until Tuesday IF she tests negative. Her Mom, Daughter #2 just started a new job and can not miss work, I have 7 days of vacation that I need to use by June 1st so I volinteered to take 2 of them and stay home with her.
I slept in until 6:00, she was up at 6:05... Wish I had that kids energy when I woke up!
Thinking we will wash / vacuum out the truck, get the camper "un-pickled" and maybe shoot some a bit.

Up at a leisurely 7 AM, coffee, sunshine, 29F but rising fast! Looking at 55F today, very nice for chores.

Traveling to our satellite clinics today, doing a meet-n-greet with the staff etc. Nice way to finish the week.

Good morning guys and gals. Up at 5am. I more than likely twisted my ankle a bit Wednesday weed trimming either my daughter's yard or the lady's yard I cut for money.

Yesterday morning, even though it only slightly hurt, I trimmed my property with my Husgavarnia string trimmer. It has been so wet that I haven't been able to mow near my pond, the ditch down my drive or the ditch along the street. So besides the usual trimming I trimmed that as well. It took me 3 hours yesterday just to trim everything. I finished just before lunch. By midafternoon my ankle was hurting pretty bad and by bedtime I couldn't put any weight on it. This morning it's better but I'm going to stay off of it today.

I have been to Santa Fe, Sandia Peak, Pecos, and of course, the caverns, but never to ALB, and I would LOVE to see it!
I am about due for a nice trip in the next year.....if I can manage to plan a NM trip, I'll let you know. That would be FUN!

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CDST. 55* right now, supposed to get to 75* with the wind coming from the south. As the temperature rises so will the wind a bit, up to 12 mph. But when it comes time to shoot, it’ll be in my face, which I don’t mind, if it’s not too strong. I have other things I want to do too, which is part why I get up so early, even on a Saturday. I decide what I can feasibly get done vs. what all I want to do. I did get all the mowing done, but I still need to do a some line trimming after the sun comes up. I also got some more dirt and some grass seed to do some patching. We got one of those little Australian Christmas trees in our house I want to put in a hole out front and see if it’ll live and perhaps grow out there. I’ve got several other things I could do, but I think I can get those things done and still have plenty of time to shoot. I’m also keeping an eye out for FedEx to drop off a box of pellets for me.

They have the international hot air balloon festival every year as well, very fun to see and some even give rides!!

Up at 7, heading out to join a friend for Brew Day, the temps will hit 80F today and the winds will be just a puff so lots of shooting this afternoon, trail riding, dinner on the trail at a bar no doubt.

Starting off with mimosas and scones.

Slept in today, it was darn near light out!

5m Pistol practice this morning...this iPad is hurting my trigger hand, so I need to change something.

Two soccer games today. 8yo granddaughter and 5yo grandson. I will wash my car and then the truck. Then if no one is around I may get to shoot outside, but I won’t hold my breath on that one. It very windy too.

Maybe rototill the garden for planting? Maybe a nap, or both?

Lesseeee......up for the first time at 0300, had a couple of cups of coffee and read a mag, and of course, checked in here, then decided it was too early to get up for the day. lol

Back up again around 0600. Planning to continue yesterday's demo activitiy- pulling framing nails from 2x4s, and if I have time, will try to remove some small framing lumber from the interior ceiling surface that was apparently installed with the initial build, to support ceiling "tiles"....those gawdawful things that I recall from the church sunday school class ceiling when I was a child! Haha

Still waiting for some sunny clear weather to start removing the roof skin and sheathing, though.
