Dan, they get delivered under the skirts of the pines to season then they are rolled about two feet away (the far end of the pile) from the next in the pile and using a long bar, are cut in three places to get 4-24" lengths. They are loaded in the 6x6 and stacked inside the woodshed (5 long cords) and under the lean too which holds 4 long cords. The bundles are off the ground, propped up on logs or cedar 4x4 posts and the bundle stacks dont touch so they can dry faster. Quote from: Lt. (That wood pile is 20 bundles, 8' tall and 80' long!!) Congratulations on getting the slabs delivered. Where do you stack them to cure after you have cut them to length? Do you cut them right there or do you move a bundle closer to where they will be stacked to cure?

Good morning, up at 4:00 cst, shopping day, the once a month run. Will have to deal with rainy weather this morning. Go pick up the missing sand paper order from HD, hopefully the package it came in didn't get destroyed along with the shipping label. Look for fruit tress, wood working supplies, zoo supplies, and anything else I missed on the last trip.
Sounds like good days for you Dan & John! Enjoy!!LAZY day, up at 8:30, felt SO GOOD!!Got the DAR out and loaded a mag of JSB 14.3 domes when I heard the crows had surrounded the house. Each one called once, it circled the house again and again. That was a first. They stayed hidden in the trees, they knew I was there and even so, we have a season on them so no bueno in any case. They were harassing a pair of redheaded woodpeckers doing their mating dance (early) so I removed a few pine cones from the white pine and the crows didn't like that so they moved on. The woodpeckers stayed and continued the dance. Dead calm this morning, 30F, sunny, clear sky, you can see a pellet all the way to the ground!!
Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. I’ve go a Spring PM to do today, coil cleaning & all that. It’s Wednesday and I’m just looking forward to my week off, so I’m going to head out early. I’ll wash my van on the way out. The weather has been beautiful, hoping to shoot some more after work.

As soon as I cleared the side of the house, about 10' before getting a clear 'view', the sentry squawked once that the murder all took flight! MAN, those crows are smart! I think I'm going to lay out targets at every 10y from 10-100 and see if I can work up a dope dot for my scope! 1 mph head wind should be good for this.
Nasty weather there Dan, good day to work on a dryer.
Hope & pray your pain goes away. Congratulations on being debt free, Dan! It’s a great feeling, I will get there again someday.
Congrats Dan. A lot of sacrifice to get there. My dryer got loud this week so hoping it's not the bearings.
