Good morning GTA family.  Up at 0425 CST this morning.  It's 62° right now warming to 78° this afternoon.  Chance of rain here with high winds 13+ mph. Hopefully I'll get to continue with the break-in of my R9. I really wanted to wait till I get 500 pellets through her before recording groups.

I'm tired, watched a Miss Marple mystery on TV last night late, didn't get to sleep till 2330 CST.

Woke up at 5:20... 10 minutes before the alarm went off.
 Doing my morning ritual before work. After work I am heading over to Daughter #4's to help her with a "virtual" Dr. appointment.
 We will see how that goes.

Felt really tired last night and ended up in bed around 7:30. Got up at 3:00 this morning. Rambo got up at 3:30 and went out for 30 minutes. Then he went back to bed.

How he doing Bill? Has the wound healed yet?

Swelling has gone down alot. He has 3 more days of pills to take before we report back to the vet. He's in great spirits and looks like he'll recover fine. He's eating well and his trips outdoors are near normal. We haven't let the wound scab over because the vet wants it to continue draining. Betty Lou cleans it twice a day. I think the best circumstance is the location of the wound, It's between his shoulder blades and he can't get to it to dig at it.

I would if I didn't have important stuff to do at work today. I have to wait for the plan on the assembly lines so I can schedule my team member's work plans for the weekend....    I also have to see what the materials delivery plans are so I can schedule that coverage. I have a team member that requested Saturday off.. I need to make sure that is covered.
I could probably do all that from home but, I feel better about it if I am there putting eyes and hands on. The department manager is out of town... he's being sworn in as a US citizen. One of us needs to be there.

I am now considering taking the afternoon off... if I can get done what I need to this morning. I still need to wait for information from the other departments as to their weekend plans.

Stayed up way too late last night and had a deposition hearing at 8:45 this morning for a car accident. It looks like it's going end up in a jury trial. That's bad enough, but with Covid the is a 1+ year backlog already.

Woke up, made Lattes, ate muffins, washed truck inside and out, turned down a callout/early start for work today, sold Wildcat.

In the future...
Lunch, shower, head into work for a 16 hour shift (3pm-7am) and whatever happens during work which I cannot predict.

HW30S still sits in pieces on the bench.  Need to get some heat shrink tubing and some time to get it cleaned up and reassembled.  Maybe I’ll get a minute for that tomorrow morning after getting off work and before I go back in at 3pm.  I also need to cut boys hair....  so much to do and so little time.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. It’s Saturday, I’m on call, but no calls yet. I replaced and loc-tited the stock screws on the Parrus yesterday. My plans (disregarding any calls I might get) are to clean out my van a little, go into town early for a haircut, bird seed, a new bird feeder and some dirt. Up until winter, I had 7 bird feeders- 4 out back, 1 on the side and 2 out front. Now I have 5 and I’ve only been rotating 4 out back. I’m going to get a new one and put 2 out front again. Our local grocery always has pallets of big bags of top soil for 2 bucks a bag. $20 or $30 worth’ll go a long way. Beginning of winter I bought 6 bags to level out my 30 meter target area. I’m going to fill some low spots around my property.

After I get back, providing I don’t get any calls for work, I’ll straighten up the rest of my van and shoot the Parrus. Hopefully, I’ll get it back on target & all will be well.

Then go to Grand Daughter #1 birthday party... Dead Eye Lou is turning 14 already.

It's definitely hair day Jimbo, I just cut my hair. Not because John, Scott and you are getting one but because I intended to yesterday but put it off till today. I've been my hair for 20 years with the same clippers.

I'm such a lazy bum, I slept in till 8:45 this morning! I really needed it, haven't slept well all last week.

Time to run off to the post office, they close at 10:30, got to ship a bunch of packages off. Back home to set up the chronograph and get the DAR on paper so to speak. Run a full 60 pellets through her and get it all documented.

Then it's time to crank up the chainsaw to cut up the last four bundles of slab wood for the boiler, 20 more bundles arrive tomorrow sense the driveway and plowed approach are still frozen so a hundred thousand pound truck won't crack up the surface.
