Good Morning GTA! Up at 0315 CST. I really didn’t want to get up, but I am. It is going to be windy today and warm. I can see grass coming back out from the snow. Apparently I got all my work caught up, so I don’t have to work today. I’m still planning on shooting the Parrus after Ch**ch... and lunch... and a nap... 

Ha ha!  You are up early and I am up late!  My plan is to go to sleep here soon but I’m hunting for some air rifle suggestions for a friend with a rat problem coming from their neighbors chicken coop.  If I was spending my money it would be easier but spending his money is more difficult.  Seems like it should be the other way around.  Ha ha!

I forgot you were into planted tanks... very nice!

My adventure yesterday with the new TV stand did not exactly go as planned. While assembly went straight forward and it really looks nice...
 S.W.M.B.O.  now wants the 55" mounted on the wall, with the top of the cabinet open.
The side doors are 15"... My Stereo equipment is 17" wide.
  OK... I hardly ever use the turn table or the dual cassette deck anymore so those can go to the man cave.
The A/V  surround  receiver can fit in the center opening, along with the center speaker...  But my CD player is a 5 carousel and is too deep to fit.

Just TRY finding a CD player now!!!! Seems that is old technology... 
Well a little cursing and huffing about, Hoosier Momma say's "wont the Blue Ray play C.D.s?"

DUH!!!
 I am now listening to AC/DC Black Ice while I figure out how to mount the Flat Screen on the wall with studs on 16" centers... Easy enough.
 BUT there is a stud centered in the middle , so I need a wall mount that will go 32" to catch the studs on ether side. The one I bought only allows for 24".

Just attached the mount to 1x3x32" pine boards.

I put our 65" on top of the electric fire place SWMBO bought.
Then found out the fire place leans a bit to the left! Now the fire place is heavy on it's own and I'm not gonna lift the TV back down to level the darned fire place!
So I found some little stick on rubber pads that I added to the TV legs.
Problem solved!

Good morning!  Up at 7 to take the dogs out.  I did some adjusting on my Hatsan Striker last night so I carried it this morning to re-zero it.  I’m a little frustrated.  I fixed the side-to-side play in the barrel but now I’ve got a lock-up issue and it is stringing vertically.  I’m still hoping to go hunting today.  I just couldn’t get away yesterday.  Too many honey-do’s.

 Instead, I have one of those Folding Camp tables, but I did dress it up with a Geen wool blanket.

My office/ man cave is too crowded, I have a gun safe, two large desks, 17 file drawers, a 18"x36" shelf unit, a 10"x24" bookshelf unit, two desk top computer systems. Every bit of available wall space is taken taken up with a gun rack and book shelves. I think I have rearranged it about 10 times and have achieved "maximum stuffed".

At least it is organized and I know where stuff is when I need it and the floor is clear, the room is 10'6"x11'6".

I just added them up, I have 46' of wall mounted shelving.  26' of self space is full of BOOKS
I have most of those books and many others (2,481) on my computer now, so I should get rid of the redundancy, but books are hard for me to get rid of.
I do think I would enjoy the space if they were gone though. 

I forgot I have 18 feet of shelf in the closet too, since I have no clothes stored in this converted bedroom/office.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. It’s 54° this morning, supposed to get to about 65° and be sunny this afternoon with NNE winds at 10 mph.

Hopefully the R9 that I ordered from FDAR will arrive today. To be honest I doubt it will make it here today due to the delays and poor weather conditions on the highways from Iowa to here.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. Having coffee and let the dogs out. I haven’t been to the chiropractor in over 2 weeks, my wife’s been helping by popping my back on the floor. But these past couple days I’ve had her put Bio-freeze across my shoulder blades & neck. My neck, shoulders & hips need adjusted. I usually go in on Friday, but weather & work prevented that. So, on my way in to work (Victoria Secret filter change) I’m going to drop by the chiropractor & get fixed up. Should be a good day.

Up at 5, its going to reach 40 today so Ill get some time in on the chainsaw getting more wood cut for the boiler. The cold snap drew down my reserve to only 1/4 of what I normally keep on hand and since we go off wood April 1st, I still have to feed the beast until then.   I have another load of oak slab bundles coming next week that will season this summer and fall.

John, sorry to hear about your pain, I have a crick in my neck/shoulder form sleeping wrong last night. Irritating, not severe so I dont envy you.

Last day of my long stretch at work today, will spend the day with my dad tomorrow, get him groceries and stuff.

I have done the chiropractor thing in the past. Since you said that the wife was standing in (on?),.... I saw some rollers of various sizes advertised the other day. You lay on them and push your body (spine) over it. It looked awkwards and maybe impossible if already in pain, but might be a good maintenance item.

I do not like the new little impact hammers they have now. I like the good old school bone crunchers.

I know several people that swear by inversion tables too. I tried one real quick,.. but the head pressure was too much for me. Good luck with it.

Thanks for your concern & input, fellas. I have thought about getting a decent size roller, surely it should help. I also want an inversion table. Once I get a good size shed/shop here, I’m going to get a lot more stuff out of the garage and add the inversion to my gym in the garage. The gym I can’t access, yet again. The inversion table actually helps my hips & back a lot. Hanging and doing pull-ups on a pull-up bar (the one that’s shelved for now) helps my shoulders & neck a lot. My chiropractor is great, but perhaps it’s time to get my stuff together.
